万佛寺位坐落于沙田道风山上，上山首先必须登431个石阶。之所以称此寺为「万佛寺」，是因为自1950年代建寺以来，感恩的信众便不断供奉小神像，使得它成为一座拥有10000尊佛像的寺庙。这些神像各个不同，有些是黑色的、有些则盖以金箔，而且每尊神像的姿态各异，这象征着佛祖修成正果的各个不同阶段和过程。

寺内尚有玉皇殿、准提殿、弥陀殿、万佛宝塔及十八罗汉塑像等。可惜，万佛寺在九七年七月的一场暴雨中倒塌，有关方面现正着手筹募经费重建佛寺，希望能够尽快令万佛寺重现昔日的光辉。从中庭的边缘可以俯瞰沙田美妙的景致，中庭里有座九层的佛塔和一些佛祖追随者的雕像。再往上走则是另外四座寺庙，其中一个拥有全香港第二高的佛像.供奉的该寺创始和尚月溪法师肉身漆像，是香港仅有的一座。

万佛寺位於香港新界沙田(火车站)以北万佛山，山高佰馀米，翠竹丛生，山势迤逦，祥云缭绕，幽雅清静，前览城门河沙田市中心，左看吐露港，右望狮子山。寺内供奉一万二千馀尊佛像及自唐朝“六祖”後千馀年中国南部罕见的金刚不坏身“月溪法师”真身。

寺院占地六万五千平方英尺，依山就势，建有万佛殿，弥陀殿，观音殿，准提殿，玉皇殿，万佛宝塔，观音亭，韦驮亭，十八罗汉廊等。该寺由云南高僧号称“八指头陀”的月溪法师於一九四九年创建，月溪法师以大毅力大智慧，虽七十高龄仍然亲自率众弟子不畏艰辛，开山凿石，担鐡运木，历时八载，亲手塑造佛像万馀尊，其中代表性的建筑物之一“万佛塔”被香港上海汇丰银行选为港币一佰圆之印刷图案。

有一句话大家一定都知道：不到长城非好汉。刚才说了这么多关于长城的事情。大家一定等不及要到长城游览一番。不用着急，马上您也要成为好汉了。八达岭长城有三台两墙组成的，什么是三台呢?我给你们介绍一下吧!三台分别是城台、敌台。其中城台构造非常简单，只是驻守的官兵避寒的地方。那敌台的构造相对就要复杂一些，分为两层，下层是由回井等字形组成，上层有垛口和望孔是观察军情和射击用的，所以这里也具有防御敌人的功能。

下面就到了烽火台，又叫烽燧，狼烟台。是不和长城相连的独立建筑。一旦敌人来犯，就点燃烽火通报军情。明朝的时候，还对烽火与敌人的关系作了严格的规定：敌人百余个，燃一烟点一炮;五百人，燃两烟两炮;千人以上，三烟三炮;五千人以上，四烟四炮。就通过这种方式，在边关的军情能够飞速的传到皇宫大内。

游客们，我们已经来到了着名的八达岭长城，你向远处看，可以发现这里的长城分为南、北两峰，蜿蜒山脊上，龙腾虎跃、气象万千，景色十分壮观。往下看是：两个洞和U字形的城墙缎怕谳瓮城。

我们再往下看，在城墙东南侧陈列着一门大炮，名为这时威大将军。这门大炮炮身长2.85米，口径105毫米，由于中炮身上又敕赐神威大将而得名。

接下来我给大家讲个传说：它的名子叫孟姜女哭长城。从前，有个美丽的姑娘叫孟姜女，她和范喜良成亲之后，范喜良就被抓去修筑长城了，可是范喜良一年之后还是没有回来，孟姜女吃不下饭，睡不着觉千里迢迢来到了长城脚下。到了那里，她才知道自已的丈夫死了。孟姜女一哭就是三天三夜。她的哭声惊天动地长城被她的哭声震得足足塌了800里长。游客朋友们，这是一个多么动人的故事啊！万里长城真是凝结了千千万万劳动人民的血汗！
