康复学科是一门新兴的医疗学科，随着我国经济的快速发展，人民生活水平的不断提高，康复学科越来越受到全社会的关注，5.12康复救援催生了我国的康复医学事业的快速发展。康复学科的新理论、新技术、新设备不断涌现，康复治疗水平不断提高，这凝聚了我国广大康复工作者的心血与智慧，是你们的辛勤劳动推动了中国康复医疗事业的不断发展。

我们广西康复学科虽然起步也较晚，但我们非常重视推动康复学科的建设工作。近几年来，我们不断修订和完善康复治疗技术标准、规范和制度，开展对广西康复医学骨干的

培训，积极支持康复医学会的工作，强调各级医院要加强康复学科建设，加快康复专业人才的培养，使广西康复学科学术队伍和学科发展水平有了显著提高。去年，广西投资一亿元重点支持设在广西江滨医院的广西康复医疗中心大楼建设。广西的康复医学事业呈现出逢勃发展的势头。

虽然我们在康复事业上取得了一定的成绩，但我们也感觉到在康复医学领域我们与发达地区、发达省份存在着很大的差距，借此机会，我们真诚地期待各位专家、各位代表能够一如既往地关注、关心、支持我们广西康复医疗事业的发展，在这里无私的展示你们最新的科研成果、最新的医疗技术，希望这一次盛会成为推动广西康复事业发展的一个里程碑。再次谢谢各位专家、各位代表！
