二、学生情况分析

1、学生的双基情况

五年级的学生已有了一定的英语基础，他们中的大部分正在平稳的向着二级目标要求迈进，即对英语学习有持续的兴趣和爱好。能用简单的英语互致问候、交换有关个人、家庭和朋友的简单信息。能根据所学内容表演小对话或歌谣。能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事。能根据图片或提示写简单的句子。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教。乐于了解异国文化、习俗。但也有令我们担忧的状况：随着学习内容的增多和学习难度的加深，出现了“两极分化”的现象。

2、学生的思想状况

一部分学生学习英语的兴趣衰减，对英语学习产生畏难情绪，英语学习已掉队。这就要求我们应关注每个学生，注重培养学生对英语学习有持续的兴趣和爱好，采取有效措施，防止两极分化现象的加剧。

三、教材分析

1、总体知识结构

本册教材共有11个模块，每个模块有两个单元。每个新授单元的第一课均是情景对话，侧重语言的交际功能，旨在培养学生的听说能力。第二单元在第一单元的基础上突出语言的基本结构，通过对前一单元主要内容的回顾而引出重点句型的教学，旨在培养学生的读写能力，并帮助学生进一步掌握主要的语言结构。在掌握重点语言之后加强学生在应用方面的综合操练，通过多种形式引导学生复习巩固所学的语言知识，提高运用语言的能力。从教材的编制来看，本册的单词仍以与学生学习、生活密切相关的词汇为主，较上册教材来说这册教材的单词量相对来说比较多，学生学习起来有一定的难度。本册教材中安排的情景教学主要涉及到生活、旅游、食物等。另外，本册涉及到的语法项目大部分都为一般过去式，还有个别两个模块为will引导将来时及be going to…引导的将来式，还有一般现在时。对于本册来说过去式仍是本册的教学重点，但出现了一般将来时，对于他只要求学生理解其意，教师不做语法结构的分析上的重点讲解。

2、重点：

(1)能够理解、听说并认读各单元主图下方的词汇。能够按所学语音规律正确拼背词汇。

(2)能够理解并熟练朗读各单元主图中的功能性对话。

(3)在教师引导下，能根据每单元的话题内容滚雪球似的将所学过的语言进行交际运用。

(4)在学生有一定语言素材的基础上，引导其归纳出每个单元的语法规则，并能正确书写句子。

(5)能在图片的帮助下听懂和读懂每个单元的故事，并养成按意群阅读的习惯。能在图片的帮助下讲述每个单元的故事，并完成相应的课后练习。

3、难点：

(1)能根据图片和提示写与故事内容有关的句子。

本教材难易度合理，过渡平和，主要采用的是全身反应教学法，让学生在不同的学习活动中感知并运用英语。本教材按照每单元三课时编排，每单元包含九个部分：第一部分是全单元的的主要句型、单词等语言材料及其功能的集中展示;第二部分是主要句型和单词的重点板块;第三和第四部分是巩固知识的活动板块;第五部分是阅读，是对前面的拓展;第六部分是学生间合作活动，大多是两人组活动，以便学生应用语言;第七部分是读写部分;第八部分是拼读部分;第九部分是娱乐部分。教材的设计体现了“以人为本”的教育思想，形式多样活泼，很符合该年龄阶段的儿童。

二、学情分析

教学对象为五年级的学生。他们已经接触了两年英语，有一定的英语基础。儿童的特性使得他们活泼好动，对新事物有着强烈的好奇心，探索知识的欲望很强烈，并且有着很强的表现欲。但由于教材难度偏大，教学内容与课时不成比例，学生的学习兴趣难以保持，两极分化较严重。因此，本学期应注重转化后进生，因材施教，分层教学，保持学生的学习兴趣。

三、教学目标

根据小学生的心理和生理特征以及发展需求，小学阶段的英语课程的目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，使他们建立初步的英语学习的自信心;培养学生一定的语感和良好语音、语调基础。
