2019年，小福禄的父亲王金鹏在驾车送货时发生车祸，导致高位截瘫，生活无法自理。姐姐正在外地上大学，妈妈在家又要种地又要照顾丈夫，根本无暇顾及年幼的孩子。当时还在读一年级的小福禄渐渐懂得了担当，幼小的他知道自己的家和别的孩子家不一样，于是便开始学着做起了家务。
