I am ____ . I was born in_____ . I graduate from senior high school and major in English. I started learning English since I was 12 years old. My parents have a lot of American friends. Thats why I have no problem communicating with Americans or others by speaking English.

In my spare time, I like to do anything relating to English such as listening to English songs, watching English movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some English clubs or institutes. I used to go abroad for a short- term English study. During that time, I learned a lot of daily life English and saw a lot of different things.

I think language is very interesting. I could express one substance by using different sounds. So I wish I could study and read more English literatures and enlarge my knowledge.

大家好!我是XX级机械学院吴宝利。很高兴能在这里和同学们分享我的大学生活。不知道各位有没有看过《当幸福来敲门》，我很喜欢这部电影。故事中的主人公克里斯生活十分窘迫，他的妻子在他最需要帮助的时候离开了他，留下了一个五岁大的儿子。为了改变命运，他参加了无新投资经纪人的实习工作。父子两由于欠房租被赶出汽车旅馆，露宿街头。克里斯相信命运掌握在自己手里，没有人可以帮他，所以他不放弃、他努力，牵着儿子的手不停的奔跑，直到幸福来敲门!生活就像他手中的那个魔方，在他不停地旋转下终于圆满。

电影里面有一个镜头我特别喜欢，父子两在打篮球时，克里斯对儿子说：“你有梦，你就去保护它(You got a dream，you gotta protect it)。”我的大学生活也是一个有梦，而且不断追求、永不放弃的过程。

三年前，我以优异的成绩考进了西南交大。当时，我有一个很好的机会，就是来参加交大茅班的选拔考试。高中以来每逢考试都是顺顺当当的，我想这次的选拨考试应该也不在话下。来之前我就稍微准备了一下，接着就满怀壮志参加这次的考试。紧张的一天考试结束之后，我从未感到考试如此失败过，后来的结果可想而知，我被淘汰了。刚进大学的喜悦瞬间消失殆尽，当时看着被选拨上的同学，心里有一种被抛弃的感觉。第一次走出了习惯的生活圈，融入一个新的环境;第一次感觉到天外有天;第一次感觉我仅仅是众多大学生中平凡的一个。

大一、大二在同学们当中自然地有一个公认的准则，大学要有一个良好的，成功的开始，那么我们必须身兼要职，或是班干部，或是进入学生会、团委学习。很可惜我没能按照这样的准则开始我的大学生活。当然我也曾经试图走上这样一个成功的开始，但是我失败了。大一的时候学生会、团委和我檫肩而过，竞选班干部也落选了;大二，我以为可以摆脱不幸，所以我参加了不少的社团活动，试图发表文章等等。当然我没能如愿以偿，依然在同一高度的台阶上踏步。虽然如此，我的心态还是很平稳，我知道在我们的大学校园里到处是藏龙卧虎，比我优秀的人比比皆是，所以一次一次的失败也是理所当然的。种种的机会我没能争取上，必有能人取之，我能做的当然是不断地反省和自我总结，争取下一次机会。

时间匆匆，我来到了大三。我没有因为已经是大三而放弃追求，放弃每一个机会，依然以一种新鲜的眼光看待身边的人和事。这一年里，我被评为校“精神文明建设积极分子”。同时，我和另外两个同学一起创立的物理协会，并担任协会的副会长。这得益于校团委、物理实验中心的大力支持和我们不懈的努力。记得我第一次和指导老师说出了我的建议，我们的老师非常支持。他当时说了一句话鼓励我们的话，至今记忆犹新：不管结果如何，关键是要有想法。为了协会的成立，我们多次辗转于教务、团委和实验中心，有时为了一个签章还要跑老校，多次和老师沟通，我们的坚持终于有了回报。

大三上学期我同时还申请了去中国台湾义守大学交流学习的项目。我们当时是第一届，很多问题还没有一个定式的解决方法，比如最关键的课程学分转换问题。很有可能等到大四还要会回来重修大三的课程，同时奖学金、保研、就业都跟我们没关系了。我觉得这是一个很好的机会，因为校企生还能得到义联集团的资助，我毅然报名。通过筛选，我幸运得到了国际处的批准赴台交流学习，当然回来之后我们的成绩也有了一个很好的解决。我听过这样的声音：早知道当初我也报名了，可能我也能被选上，回来之后成绩完全认证，也能拿到奖学金，再接着保个研。我听完之后，淡淡一笑。曾经看到过一篇文章说：“人的上半生，要毫不犹豫;人的后半生，要毫不后悔。”我想说：“年轻，所以允许犯错误，上半生要毫不犹豫大胆冒险、及时冒险，人的后半生才能没有太多的遗憾。”

中国台湾交流学习完后，我已经大四了。大四的开始我保上了华南理工大学的免试研究生，由于大三的一些出色表现，我被评为了“三好学生”，同时担任所在学生党支部的组织委员，并且在国际处担任学生助理。大四，并不意味着一种结束而是一个全新的开始，“自强之星”是这样一个开始的起点。

总结自己的大学生活，我有两句话和大家分享：

一、保持新鲜，把握机会，坚持梦想，允许犯错。

二、“当我们觉得为时已晚的时候，恰恰是最早的”

我叫常茹，今年13岁，已经是七年级的学生了。

为了介绍清楚自己，写好这学期的第一篇作文，我特意照着镜子把我观察了又观察。我先找出家里的钢卷尺，让妈妈帮我量了身高是1.58米。

站在镜前看，也算是亭亭玉立吧!

再看看我的长相。呀!

挺好看的嘛!

瞧，圆圆的脸白白净净的，像十五的月亮。眼睛圆溜溜、亮晶晶的，像两个黑葡萄。一个小巧的鼻子长在脸的最中间。红红的嘴唇，一笑两个嘴角就向上翘，像一只小船，真好看!

再看那乌黑的短发从中间分开，用两个黄色的小卡子别起来，显得多精神呀!

我也有自己的爱好，喜欢画画，喜欢制作，喜欢想象。有一天下午放学回家，我在阳台上玩。我把包装了洗衣机的两个大泡沫板掏了两个洞，套在了胳膊上。我本来想做机器人，可胳膊一抬，两个泡沫板向后翘了起来，我又把胳膊前后动了两下，觉得就像要飞一样。我想：这多么像鸽子呀!

我高兴极了，不停地扇动着两个“大翅膀”，一边扇一边喊：“妈妈，快来看鸽子!”妈妈跑来左看看，右看看，奇怪地问：“鸽子在哪儿?”我说：“妈妈，你看我像不像鸽子。”妈妈一看，哈哈大笑，说：“你怎么这么有趣呀!”

大家觉得我有趣吗?我喜欢做个有趣的孩子。
