4、在注重交际、培养潜力的同时，不可忽视语言知识的系统学习。确保学生在到达《英语课程标准》中语言知识的三级目标的基础上，学习、掌握新的词汇和语法项目，拓展、补充相关的话题和功能项目。

5、在教学过程中不可盲目地加快教学进度。教学必须要切合实际，做到重兴趣、重方法、求稳定、求实效，避免出现大批掉队和过早分化现象。对英语学习水平不同的学生，做好“提优补差”。

6、用心参加群众备课，保证群众备课的质量。群众备课不仅仅仅是要统一教学进度和教案格式，更主要的是要备教学资料和教学方法，透过群众备课研究每单元的教学策略，个性注重对不同课型教学的研究。
