Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. 教学反思是教师对教学过程中出现的教学事件和现象的再思考，是教师的教学理论和教学实践的对话，而不断的教学反思则会促进教师教学能力及水平的发展。教学反思包括课前对教学设计的反思，课中对教学过程的反思，课后对教学效果的反思。一个好的教师如能及时的进行教学反思，不仅可以提高自身的教学水平，更能提升自己以适应时代的要求。我国著名心理学家林崇德提出“优秀教师=教学过程+反思”的成长公式，全国特级教师袁蓉从自己的教学实践和成功经验中总结出:教学成功=教学过程+反思。教学反思有利于促成教师从“一般型”向“骨干型”转变，进而由“教书型”成长为“专家型”，由“学科型”成长为“学者型”。教师的发展成长是教师与周围环境积极地相互作用、循环互动的发展过程。通过反思促使教师对自身、自己的专业活动甚至相关的物、事有更深入的理解，以使其更好地行动。新课程的改革表明，是否具备可持续发展的意识和能力，是衡量当今教师是否优秀的关键因素之一。中国的中学英语教学正处于一个变革的阶段，作为合格的中学英语教师需要不断的学习和提高，需要更新自己的知识，谋求自身的发展。这就要求教师积极主动的更新自己的教育观念、优化教学方法、注重对学习策略和文化意识的培养、在教学实践中进行反思教学，保持谦虚谨慎、积极上进的态度，不断的总结经验，超越自我，成为合格的、优秀的、符合时代要求的中学英语教师。
