今天虽然是阴天，天气凉爽，非常适宜外出旅游，于是我和爸爸妈妈决定去举世文明的三峡大坝。去的途中要经过好几个人工开挖的山洞和西陵峡，沿着长江左岸往上走，很远就能看见横在长江上的三峡大坝，壮观及了。

这里还很潮湿，时不时听到有水滴的声音，好像是在给我们的前进伴奏!走前了一点，我们隐约看到了八个高大的雕像，走近了，是八仙!看呐，這岩洞内还有怎么大的雕像呢!前面的烛光多了，一个千手观音的神像出现在我们面前。我们一个紧接一个地参拜了观音。我们还注意到，前面有些贪玩的游客在千手观音手上放了很多水果和零食，弟弟笑着説：“幸亏观音有千手，不然零食就没那么多了!”

我们的九华山呢其实原来并不叫九华山。在唐朝的时候叫九子山，因为九华山山峰秀丽，高出云层的山峰有九座，因此叫做九子山。天宝年间，诗仙李白曾两次到过此地，先后写下”妙有分二气，灵山开九华”，天河挂绿水，秀出九芙蓉”等千古佳句，九华山之名因此而得并且一直用到了今天。
