Dayan Pagoda, an ancient Tang Dynasty pagoda, is a unique symbol of theancient city of Xian. As one of the eight scenic spots in Guanzhong, the bigwild goose pagoda stands high in the Cien Temple in the southern suburb ofXian. It is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China. Dayan Pagoda scenicspot is a Buddhist holy land, which has a close relationship with masterXuanzang, a famous monk of Tang Dynasty. The story of Tang Monks Sutraacquisition and translation takes place here. All Buddhist temples are templesfor monks to worship, worship and chant Buddhist scriptures. Whats specialabout Dayan Pagoda compared with other temples? There are so many eminent monksat all times and in all over the world, so who is Tang Monk Xuanzang? Why is thestory of Tang Monks scriptures widely spread? Today, after you visit thisscenic spot, you will find the answer to the above question.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have come to the South Square of Dayan Pagoda. Inthe center of the square stands a tall bronze statue of monk Xuanzang of TangDynasty. He was dignified, dressed in cassock, holding a staff in hand, withfirm steps, as if he was on the way to the West.

You must have seen journey to the west, one of Chinas four famous works, and the TV series of the same name adapted from it. Is the Tang monk in journeyto the West Xuanzang? Xuanzang, a native of Yanshi, Henan Province, isintelligent and studious. He became a monk at the age of 13. He worshipsclassics and exhausts all kinds of theories. He is well-known in the capital andis known as "the great tool of Shimen and the great horse of Buddhism." Afterstudying all over the country, he found that the sutra was incomplete and therewere many mistakes in it. He decided to go to Tianzhu, the birthplace ofBuddhism, which is now India, to explore the essence of Buddhism, so as to solvethe doubts and promote Buddhism. In the first year of Zhenguan (620__), he wentto India to apply for law, but he was not approved by the imperial court. In thethird year of Tang Zhenguan (620__ AD), he set out from Changan, along the SilkRoad, through the Gobi desert, where there were no birds on the top and noanimals on the bottom, and traveled westward to Tianzhu. He studied Buddhism inthe famous nalandao temple for 20__ years. At a grand Dharma meeting, Xuanzangread out his Buddhism It is said that for 18 days in a row, no one could arguewith Xuanzang. All the kings invited Xuanzang to take the magnificent Xiangyuparade. The venue cheered and thundered. The Mahayana monks called masterXuanzang "Mahayana heaven", the Hinayana monks called him "liberation heaven",and the Buddhist "heaven" refers to the Bodhisattva gods. Xuanzang was highlyhonored and respected in India. Then he resolutely declined the hospitality ofthe kings and monks and set foot on his way home. In the 19th year of Zhenguan(645 AD), Xuanzang returned home with a large number of Buddhist relics and 657Buddhist scriptures. He was warmly welcomed by the Emperor Taizong and theChinese. When they arrived in Changan, millions of monks and customs went outto welcome them, which was unprecedented. After returning to China, with thesupport of the Tang royal family, he gathered erudite eminent monks from allover the country to form an unprecedented Buddhist scripture translation site, and acted as the translator himself. The quality and quantity of translatedBuddhist scriptures are far more than those of their predecessors, which usheredin a new era in the history of translation in China. The author of the book, arecord of the western regions in the Tang Dynasty, has attracted the attentionof scholars all over the world. It should be said that journey to the west iswritten in the background of xuanleis going out to the west to seek scripturesin the Tang Dynasty, but the Tang monk in the story does not refer to Xuanzang, but a figure in an artistic literary work.

Now we come to the gate of the Great Mercy Temple. The main gate of thetemple is called the mountain gate, also called the three gates, which arecalled the empty gate, Wuzuo gate and Wuxiang gate respectively, symbolizing thethree liberation gates of Buddhism. We call becoming a monk "stepping into theempty door" and thats probably where it comes from. You see, the plaque on thedoor is a few glittering characters of "dacien Temple" inscribed by Comrade __himself.

Cien Temple was originally named Wulou temple. In 648 ad, when Li Zhi,Emperor Gaozong, was the crown prince, he built a temple for his mother, empressWende, and ordered the temple to be built in jinchangfang, Changan. Facing theHanyuan Hall of Daming Palace in the north, it covers an area of 26570 squaremeters and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is the most magnificent andspectacular Buddhist temple in Changan, the capital of the Tang Dynasty. At thebeginning of the construction of Cien Temple, the imperial court speciallyinvited Xuanzang, who came back to Changan from India, to be the abbot of thetemple. Thus, dacien Temple became the highest institution of Buddhism inChina at that time. After the end of Tang Dynasty, because of the constant wars, the temple gradually became desolate. After many times of maintenance, it wasnot until the Ming Dynasty that the scale of todays temple was established.

When we walk into the mountain gate, we can see the confrontation on thesecond floor of the bell and drum. To the East is the bell tower, in which thereis an iron bell. The clock was cast in the 27th year of Jiajing reign of theMing Dynasty (1548 AD). It is 3.4 meters high and weighs 15 tons. It has fourbig characters of "morning bell of wild goose pagoda". To the west is the drumtower, in which there is a big drum. The bell and drum are important tools ofBuddhism, which are used to summon monks to do rituals. It is also an importanttime tool. Monks in the temple wake up at the bell and sleep at the drum everyday.

Now we come to visit the main hall of the temple. The main hall is thecentral building of the temple. There are Sakyamunis three body Buddha in thehall. The middle one is Dharma Buddha piluzana Buddha. Dharma Buddha refers tothe pure body of Buddhas nature. The west one is paoshen Buddha Lushena Buddha.Paoshen Buddha means to obtain the Buddhas fruit and perfect body. The east oneis Yingshen Buddha. Yingshen Buddha refers to all changeable bodies and theuniversal body. On both sides of the three body Buddha are Sakyamunis Kaya andAnanda, and on both sides are eighteen Arhats.

On the west wall of the main hall, there are several steles of "Yan TA TiMing Ji". "Yanta inscription" began in the Tang Dynasty. All the top scholars inthe Changan examination had to have a banquet in Qujiang first, and thengathered together to inscribe the name of the big Yanta. They thought it was avery glorious thing to inscribe the name of the big Yanta, and they thought thatthey could ascend step by step by climbing the big Yanta. Bai Juyi, a poet ofthe Tang Dynasty, wrote a poem here after he was admitted as a Jinshi in theexamination: "the youngest of the seventeen people is at the title under thetower of mercy." Its a good story for a while.

On the north side of the hall is the Sutra collection building of Fatang(two floors). On the upper floor is the Sutra collection building, whichcontains the scriptures translated by Xuanzang. On the lower side is the Fatang, where the monks preached. There is a statue of Amitabha in it. Amitabha is incharge of the Western Paradise. That is to say, if you recite Amitabhawholeheartedly before you die, you will be led to the paradise by him after youdie, so it is also called "Jieyin Buddha". There are also three rubbings in theDharma hall, one of which is the picture of Xuanzangs negative collection, andon both sides are the portraits of his two great disciples yuancha and peepingJi. Xuanzang was carrying a basket of Buddhist scriptures on his back. He waswalking on the road of collecting Buddhist scriptures with Buddhist dust in hishands and hemp shoes on his feet. After suffering, only the little oil lamp thatnever went out was with him.

Behind the Dharma hall is the famous wild goose pagoda. Please follow me tovisit.

As for the origin of the name of "wild goose pagoda", there are severalopinions. Its name comes from a Buddhist story. According to Indian Buddhistlegend, there were two schools of Buddhism, Mahayana and Hinayana, and HinayanaBuddhism did not avoid meat and fishiness. One day, it was Bodhisattva givingday, but a monk in a Hinayana Temple couldnt buy meat for dinner. At this time,a group of geese flew by in the sky. A monk looked at the geese and said tohimself, "today there is no meat in the house. The merciful Bodhisattva willnever forget what day it is." Before the voice fell, the leading goose foldedits wings and fell to the ground. So the monks in the temple were shocked andthought that it must be the manifestation of Bodhisattva. They built a stonepagoda at the site where the wild geese fell. They gave up meat and turned toMahayana Buddhism. Since then, people have also called Bodhisattvas the king ofgeese and pagodas the "geese pagodas.".

The great wild goose pagoda was built with the approval of the imperialcourt by master Xuanzang to preserve a large number of Buddhist scripturesbrought back from India. Master Xuanzang personally participated in theconstruction of the tower, which took two years to complete. However, the pagodawas gradually destroyed more than 40 years later because of the erosion of thebrick surface and soil core. Later, Wu Zetian rebuilt the wild goose pagoda inher reign, and there were further repairs in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Whatwe see now is the repaired wild goose pagoda.

Dayan Pagoda is a typical wooden pavilion style brick pagoda, which iscomposed of tower base, tower body and Tasha. Its height is 64.7 meters. Thepagoda is square cone-shaped, with a total of 7 floors. There are spiral stairsinside. We can climb up the pagoda along the spiral stairs to see the beautifulscenery of the ancient city. Now please come up with me.

When we come to the bottom of the Dayan Pagoda, we can see that the brickniches on both sides of the South Gate of the pagoda are inlaid with two steles, preface to the three Tibetan holy teachings of the Tang Dynasty, written byEmperor Taizong Li Shimin and Emperor Gaozong Li Zhi of the Tang Dynasty. Bothsteles were written by Chu suiliang, a famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, and are the best of the steles in the Tang Dynasty. Next we can visit the firstfloor. Lets take a look at the tablets on both sides of the wall. Among them, there are two stone tablets, one is the picture of Xuanzangs negativecollection, which reflects the process of his Scripture acquisition, and theother is the picture of Xuanzangs scripture translation, which reflects theprocess of his scripture translation. The pictures of the two steles are vividportraits of master Xuanzangs glorious life. Now lets start climbing up.Please step up the tower and pay attention to safety. On the second floor, wesee a sitting statue of Maitreya. You can worship it and make your wish. Then weascend the third floor. Here is the Buddhist relic presented by Indian Buddhistmonks. All right, lets keep climbing. On the third floor, there are rubbings ofthe original steles of Jiwang Shengjiao preface and Tongzhou Shengjiao preface, which are kept in Xian Beilin Museum. In the fourth floor, we can see hugefootprints, which are said to be left by Sakyamuni when he passed away. It issaid that before his death, Sakyamuni went to a small river and said to hisdisciples, "this is the last footprint I left to mankind." After that, hugefootprints were formed. At that time, people vied to pay homage to each other. When Xuanzang came to India, he heard this story and went to pay homage to itspecially. He also drew the footprints with a brush when paying homage. What wesee now is carved by Xuanzang in his later years. On the fifth and sixth floors, there are Xuanzangs poems and calligraphic works of several great poets in theTang Dynasty. Lets go up to the seventh floor. You can look up and have a lookat the very interesting poems above us. No matter where we start, these wordscan be very smooth. You can read with me, "you have to travel to the west, youhave to travel to the West.". The former worshipers praised the Tang monk, whilethe latter was praised by others. " There is also "monk Tang has to travel tothe West.". Before worshiping the Buddha in the west, the predecessors praisedhim. " And so on. No matter from which angle, it can be read as a poem aboutTang Monks learning scriptures.

When you climb to the top of the pagoda, do you have a wonderful feeling of"climbing out of the world"? You can see the magnificent scenery of the ancientcity from all sides, which makes you forget to return.

Tourist friends, now lets walk slowly down the tower and pay attention tosafety. Continue to visit Xuanzang Sanzang courtyard in the back.

Now, everyone comes to the gate of Xuanzang Sanzang courtyard. XuanzangSanzang courtyard is a group of buildings imitating Tang style, which iscomposed of dabianjue hall, Prajna hall and Guangming hall.

If you want to ask: what are the treasures of Da Cien Temple in Xian? Itis the parietal bone relic and Buddha bone relic of master Xuanzang, becauseboth of them are very precious Buddhist relics. We have just seen the Buddhistbone relic on the third floor of the Dayan Pagoda, and a portion of Xuanzangsparietal bone relic is stored in the dabianjue Hall of the Sanzang academy, where the statue of Xuanzang is still worshipped.

There are nearly 400 square meters of exquisite large murals in XuanzangsSanzang courtyard, reflecting the holy scenery of Buddhism and the life story ofXuanzang. In particular, it reflects Xuanzangs brilliant life of seeking Dharmaand translating scriptures.

In summary, Xuanzangs translation is characterized by large quantity, highquality, complete content and new way. Xuanzang alone translated 1335 volumes ofBuddhist scriptures. Because Xuanzangs translation is accurate and reliable, and the original Indian Sanskrit version on which he bases is lost, Xuanzangstranslation is regarded as "quasi Sanskrit version". Thus there was the heydayof Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty and a new situation in which many overseaseminent monks entered the Tang Dynasty to seek Dharma. The translation ofBuddhist scriptures in China begins with the translation of Buddhist scriptures.Xuanzang is a famous Buddhist, translator and traveler in the history of ourcountry. At the same time, he is a great patriot who is loyal to the motherland. He also translated Laozi, an important ancient Chinese philosophical work, intoSanskrit and introduced it to India, which promoted the cultural communicationbetween China and India and established the friendship between the twopeoples.

In 20__, Xuanzang finally died in Yuhua temple in Tongchuan. Although heasked for simplicity, the emperor buried him in Bailuyuan, which is on the Bankof Chanhe river. People have expressed their admiration and mourning for thisgeneration of eminent monk who sacrificed his life to seek Dharma, painstakinglytranslated scriptures, lived a glorious life and died with a reed mat. It hasbecome a Buddhist holy land to pay homage to and commemorate Xuanzangforever.

In the beautiful plateau Tibet, there are not only Mount Qomolangma, theroof of the world, but also the mysterious Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple andXiaozhao temple. Today, I will take you to take a look at the supreme positionin Tibetan Buddhism - the Jokhang Temple.

Dazhao temple, also known as "zulakang" and "juekang", is located in thecenter of Lhasas old city. It was built by King Songzanganbu of Tibet and has ahistory of more than 1300 years. Dazhao temple is a Tibetan Buddhist temple, andalso the earliest existing civil structure building in Tibet. It creates aTibetan Hirakawa style temple pattern, and is a building integrating Tang,Tibetan, Nepalese, Indian and other artistic styles. The enthusiastic localguide led us into this temple full of mystery and beautiful legend.

"The Jokhang Temple is an eternal example of Tibetan religiousarchitecture. Now, what we see are tens of thousands of butter lamps that haveleft traces of time and pilgrims. These butter lamps are on day and night, andwill not go out. Why? Because countless devout Tibetans in Tibetan areas keepdonating butter to temples, so as to ensure the continuous use of butter forthese butter lamps worshipped in front of Buddhas platform... " I was thinkingabout why. After listening to the guides explanation, I finally understood why.It seems that devout belief is the strongest support for Tibetans. Buddha hasbecome their spiritual sustenance, carrying their hope and yearning for a betterlife in the future. "Lets go on!" the guides call brought me back to reality. So I took back my mind and quickly followed.

The stone floor is as bright as a mirror because of the friction ofbelievers for many years. There is a huge Buddha statue on the left and right ofthe hall. The one on the left is lianhuasheng, the founder of the red crosssect, and the one on the right is the future Buddha. Further inside, there isthe temple of the sacred goat remjem. Why do you call it this name? Because agoats head naturally grows in the corner of the temple, so Tibetans take thisinteresting name for it. At the same time, the guide also told a fairy talerelated to this hall. It is said that in order to build a palace for theNepalese princess who was married at that time, during the reign of the fifthTibetan king Songzanganbu, he traveled all over Tibet and found many places, butthey all felt that they were not suitable. Songzanganbu decided to leave thematter to God. So he took one of Princess nibbles rings and threw it into theair. Where the ring fell, he built the palace. Unexpectedly, the ring fell in alake, and a white tower appeared in the lake. Songzanganbu, who thought it wasauspicious, decided to fill the lake and build a palace. Because they wereworking in the lake, people and yaks were too heavy to transport the stones tofill the lake, so they took the lighter goats as the main labor force at thattime. After efforts, the lake was finally filled up and the present JokhangTemple was built. However, many goats died in that project. In order tocommemorate the achievements of the goats, the king of Tibet called this place"Reza" (the goat represented by "Reza"). With the passage of time, "Reza" hasgradually been called "Lhasa", so there is a saying in Tibet that there wasJokhang temple first and Lhasa city later.

Next, we will visit the 12-year-old statue of Sakyamuni, the treasure ofJokhang Temple. You must be curious about what an isomorphic statue is? It is aBuddha statue carved according to the height and appearance of Sakyamuni when hewas 12 years old. It is the only one in the world. This Buddha statue wasbrought to Tibet by Princess Wencheng, who married a Nepalese princess. It tookhim more than three years to come to Lhasa. It is the most complete statue ofSakyamuni in the world. When I didnt see it, I thought it should be about thesame height as me, but when I saw it, my chin was startled! Now this Buddha isfour or five meters tall, and its head is like a big washbasin. Puzzled, I askedthe guide, "was Sakyamuni so old when he was 12?" the guide said with a smile,"no, the original statue is the same size as a child about 10 years old, butbecause the monks here are very devout. Every day, I brush the Buddhas bodywith gold powder, from head to toe, and not once a day. Monks will brush theBuddhas body with gold powder on time. After a long time, the Buddhas bodybecomes bigger and bigger God! Its incredible that a Buddha statue as tall as achild can be painted so big with gold by devout believers. Its conceivable thatthis Buddha statue has great weight in the hearts of Tibetans.

Then we visited Maitreya hall, Guanyin Bodhisattva hall, sanfawang hall,Tara hall, Shenbian tower and so on. As the sun sets, the visit is drawing to aclose. In fact, there are many things I want to introduce to you, but I cantdescribe them one by one. But what I want to tell you is that the Jokhang Templehas given me a new understanding of Tibetan Buddhist culture and made me fall inlove with this mysterious and interesting place. Students, I hope you can gothere to have a look and appreciate the mystery and beauty in the future!

Hello, everyone. Im Xiao Li, your tour guide. Welcome to the beautifulsunshine city of Lhasa.

Lhasa, the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region of China, has a history ofmore than 1300 years. It is the political, economic, cultural and religiouscenter of the region

It is located in the middle of the Tibetan Plateau, 3650 meters above sealevel, surrounded by mountains, flat terrain, mild climate, annual sunshine timeof about 3000 hours, so it has the reputation of sunshine city.

In the middle of the seventh century, Songzanganbu established the TuboDynasty here. In the Tang Dynasty, after entering Tibet, Princess Wenchengproposed to build a temple by filling the lake with white goats. After thecompletion of the temple, in order to commemorate the contributions of thetemple and the goat, the temple was named Reza. Later, it became the name of thecity and evolved into Lhasa, which means Yangtu city.

For thousands of years, Lhasa has become the center of political andreligious activities in Tibet several times, so Lhasa has become a truly sacredplace.

In the general impression, Lhasa is composed of Potala Palace, Bajiaostreet, Jokhang Temple, sera temple, Drepung temple and Lhasa River. However,Tibetans believe that strictly speaking, Lhasa only refers to Potala Palace,Jokhang Temple and Bajiao street built around Jokhang Temple. Next, let me showyou around the real Lhasa.

What we are seeing now is the world-famous Potala Palace. Is itshocking.

Potala is a Tibetan translation, namely Putuo. According to legend, TibetanBuddhists think that Hongshan is comparable to Guanyins St. Putra mountain, sothey compare it to the second Putra mountain.

The Potala Palace was built in the 7th century for Princess Wencheng, whomarried in Tibet. A total of 999 rooms and 1000 original red mansions werebuilt. It is the highest and largest palace style building complex in the world, with an altitude of more than 3700 meters and an area of more than 360000 squaremeters.

Having said so much, we still dont know which parts the Potala Palace iscomposed of.

The Potala Palace City consists of four parts: the Red Palace, the WhiteHouse, the Dragon King pool behind the mountain, and the snow at the foot of themountain.

The Red Palace is the ancient pagoda hall and various Buddhist halls, whichis located in the center and the top of the whole building. The White Houseembraces the Red Palace, including palaces, sutra halls, gaxia, the former localgovernment of Tibet, and the school of monks and officials. Longwangtan is theback garden of Potala Palace. There is a large pool in the garden center. Thereis an island in the pool. There are longwanggong palace and elephant house onthe island. Snow is at the foot of Potala Palace, where there are prisons, printing houses, workshops and stables of gaxia, the former local government ofTibet.

At the beginning of its construction, the scale of the Potala Palace wasnot as grand as it is now, but gradually expanded with the continuous expansionin the future. Several generations have participated in the expansion and designof the palace, and the cost is huge. It was not until 1936, when the 13th Lamaspagoda hall was completed, that the Potala Palace became its present scale. Sofar, it is like a mysterious symbol, attracting countless people to come toTibet. Those lucky enough to enter the Potala Palace are very lucky.

If you look at this building, do you think it is extremely dazzling? Thisis the famous Jokhang Temple.

Located in the center of Lhasa, the Jokhang Temple has a history of 1350years. It is the most splendid Tibetan Architecture in Tibet. It was first builtin 647. It was jointly built by Songzanganbu, Princess Wencheng of Tang Dynastyand princess Chizun of Nepal. After many expansion, it has formed a grand scalewith an area of more than 25100 square meters. There are more than 20 halls inthe temple. The main hall is four stories high, with gold-plated copper tiletop, which is magnificent. It has the architectural style of Tang Dynasty, andalso absorbs the artistic characteristics of Nepalese and Indianarchitecture.

There is a legend about the origin of the Jokhang Temple.

That was 1300 years ago, when Lhasa was still a wilderness and lake. TheTibetan king wanted to build a temple here in order to honor the 8-year-oldstatue of Sakyamuni brought by Princess Chizun of Nepal. According to legend, temples were built in the daytime and collapsed at night. The temple has neverbeen built. Later, Princess Wencheng came here. Because she knew the eighttrigrams of yin and Yang, she explained that the whole Qinghai Tibet Plateau wasa Luocha girl lying on her back. The witch was in the shape of a human, with herhead to the East and her legs to the West. The lake where the Jokhang Temple islocated is just the heart of the Luocha woman, and the lake water is her blood. So Princess Wencheng said that if she wanted to build a temple, she had to fillthe lake first, and first she had to calm the heart of the witch. Then she alsorecommended another 12 small temples to build 13 temples in remote areas, whichcould hold the limbs and joints of the witch.

It is worth mentioning that in the middle of the hall is a 12-year-oldgilded bronze statue of Sakyamuni brought by Princess Wencheng from Changan. The 8-year-old statue of Sakyamuni brought by Princess Chizun of Nepal wastransferred to Xiaozhao temple in the 8th century.

Tibetan people call the statue of Sakyamuni wearing a crown "Jue Wo".Pilgrims touch their knees with their foreheads, believing that they can prayfor themselves, for their friends, and even for their friends. Believers fromremote areas present hada to Jue Wo for their fellow villagers, just like takinga message to Jue wo.

Dazhao temple is the belief center of Tibetan Buddhism. The temple is fullof incense all day long. Believers are worshiping devoutly, and thousands ofbutter lamps are always on. All these record the never-ending footprints ofpilgrims.

After visiting the Jokhang Temple, of course, lets have a look at our oldand busy Bajiao street. Have you felt the strong flavor of Tibetan life now?

Bajiao street is the pronunciation of Paco street. Paco means the streetaround the Jokhang Temple.

The octagonal street is round, like a huge clock, and the magnificentJokhang Temple is the clock axis. According to Tibetan Buddhists, a circlearound the Jokhang Temple is called "zhuanjing" to show the worship of SakyamuniBuddha in the temple. Bajiao street is also the main route for Tibetan Buddhiststo turn their Buddhist scriptures. Every day, people who kowtow for three stepscome here to worship the Buddha in front of the Jokhang Temple. Some of thesepilgrims are even teenagers. They often really kowtow to Lhasa from thousands ofmiles away. They not only had a long way to go, but also could not earn money bydoing odd jobs. In order to make pilgrimage, they had to endure a very miserablelife on the way.

Bajiao street is a famous commercial center and an important commoditydistribution center in Tibet. At present, there are more than 120 handicraftshops and more than 200 stalls in Bajiao street. Here you can find all kinds ofgood things, all kinds of Tibetan ornaments, Nepalese jewelry, small crafts, carpets, Thangka, etc. Of course, its also a paradise for delicious food.Tibetan food is the most characteristic. All over the country, there are variousflavors of CAI.

Well, thats the end of my explanation. I hope you have a good time inLhasa.

大昭寺英语导游词3

Ladies and gentlemen

First of all, welcome to Lhasa. Im Wang Bin, the tour guide of Lhasa. Youcan call me Xiao Wang or Xiao bin. My skin is a little dark, which is the reasonwhy Im on the plateau all the year round. But its healthy skin. Sitting nextto me is our guard, master zaxidler. You can call him master zaxidler for short.Zaxidler means -- Good luck and good luck. I hope all the guests who come fromafar will have good luck. Now our destination is Potala Palace, the highest andlargest palace group in the world with the most profound Tibetan culture. Nowthe car is still a short drive away from Potala Palace. You can enjoy theplateau scenery outside the car while listening to Xiao Wangs introduction toPotala Palace.

"Potala" is a Tibetan translation, namely "Putuo". According to legend,Tibetan Buddhists believe that Hongshan is comparable to Guanyins Mount St.Putuo, so they compare it to the second Putuo, hence the name of Potala Palace.Potala Palace is an ancient building group integrating palaces and temples. Themain building is 13 stories high, 113 meters high, 3700 meters above sea level, and covers an area of 120000 square meters. Potala Palace was built in the 7thcentury in order to marry Princess Wencheng of Tang Dynasty. 999 rooms werebuilt and 1000 red mansions were built. 1645 (the year of Muji in Tibetancalendar) V completed the unification of Tibet. In order to announce thereconstruction of the Potala Palace, the Potala Palace has been renovated andrebuilt many times since then, and it has begun to take on todays scale. ThePotala Palace City consists of four parts: the Red Palace, the White House, theDragon King pool behind the mountain and the "Snow" at the foot of the mountain. In Tibetan Buddhism, there is the theory of "three realms". The three realms are"desire", "desire" and "nothingness". We can see the overall layout of thebugong, which divides the Red Palace, the White House and "Snow" into threelevels from top to bottom, and arranges them vertically, which fully embodiesthe theory of "three realms" of Tibetan Buddhism. OK, we are at the front hallsquare of Potala Palace. Please take your luggage and get off with me. Theoverall structure of Potala Palace is made of stone and wood. The outer wall ofthe palace is 2-5 meters thick, and the foundation is directly embedded in therock. All the walls are built of granite, up to tens of meters high. Iron juiceis poured into the middle of the walls every certain distance for reinforcement, which improves the anti-seismic capacity of the walls and makes them firm andstable. Up these stairs, we can get to Sassoon Langjie in Potala Palace. Thereare many stairs and they are on the plateau, so please slow down.

Now we have reached the highest Hall of Potala Palace, which is calledsasonglangjie (meaning Shengjie). Inside the palace is a portrait of EmperorQianlong. In front of the portrait is a memorial tablet of the emperor "longlive". The memorial tablet is written in Chinese, Tibetan, Manchu and Mongolian. To the west, we come to the qimeigandan hall, which was built in 1690 and wasthe Sutra Hall of the sixth emperor Cangyangjiacuo. At the age of 25,Cangyangjiacuo, the victim of the upper ruling class, began his wanderinglife.

He wandered to Qinghai, Gansu, Mongolia, Sichuan, India, Nepal and otherplaces successively. He once worked as a beggar and sent corpses. His life wasextremely hard. Because of his contact with the working people and rich lifepractice, he wrote a famous collection of poems. This poem is now popular on theInternet, which is "cangyang Jiacuo love song". I remember a soothing poem, "seeor dont see" you see or dont see me, Im not sad or happy there After watchingits beautiful Gandan, lets take a look at the palace corridor. There are alarge number of murals inside the Potala Palace, which constitute a huge Galleryof painting art. Nearly 200 people have participated in the mural painting, which has taken more than ten years. The themes of the murals include thehistory of the development of Buddhism in Tibet, the life of wushida Lama andthe process of Princess Wenchengs entering Tibet. Now we have a generalunderstanding of the function, historical background, status and cultural valueof the main building of Potala Palace. I believe it will leave a deep impressionon you. Dear friends, you have to go to Sakya temple in Shigatse. The art treasuresin the temple are vast and the cultural relics are of high value. Therefore, itis also known as "the second Dunhuang".

Look at the saga basin between the Gangdise mountains and the Himalayas. The purple "Castle" standing in the middle of the valley is the famous sagatemple. It was the political, economic, cultural and religious center of Tibet700 years ago. There is a folk song that says:

A birds-eye view of Benbo mountain,

Sakya is like crystal;

Dame in a crystal bottle

Beauty is better than fairies

Dont despise Sakya,

Buddha Pavilion adds glory to it

In fact, Sakyas Tibetan language means "gray land", that is, the color ofthe local soil. Sakya temple is divided into South Temple and North Temple. TheSouth Temple is built on the flat valley, and the North Temple is built on thenorth slope. Sakya North Temple was founded by gongjuejiebu in 1073, from whichthe famous Sakya sect was formed. Let me briefly introduce the Sakya sect. Thename of the Sakya sect is Sakya Monastery, its main temple. The walls of Sakyastemples are painted with red, white and black ribbons. Red symbolizes Manjusri, white symbolizes Guanyin, black is Vajra holding Bodhisattva, and three colorsturn into flowers. Therefore, Sakya sect is called "flower religion". Among theteachings of the Sakya school, the most unique and important one is "Dao GuoFa". Its teaching method has three procedures: first, to give up the blessing."Not good" is bad. A person always encourages himself to do good and do good, not to do bad, and is expected to incarnate in the "three good interests" ofheaven, Asura and man in the afterlife. 2、 Cut me off. That is to understand theimpermanence of life, everything in the world is made up of karma, which is nota real truth, so as to see through everything in the world, cut off any desire, and relieve pain. 3、 There is no success in all methods. That is to preventarbitrary views in practice, and achieve the realm of understanding the universewith extraordinary insights. There are many differences between the Sakya sectand other sects, one of which is to allow believers to marry and have children, and the political power of the sect is passed on from father to son, while thereligious power is passed on from uncle to nephew.

There are five important ancestors of the Sakya school. His fourthancestor, Saban gonggajianzan, played an important role in bringing Tibet intothe territory of China in the 13th century.

In addition, I would like to introduce the history of Sakya temple and thefamous basiba. After the collapse of the Tubo Dynasty, Tibet fell into 400 yearsof separatist rule and war turbulence. In the early 13th century, Genghis Khanled Mongolian tribes to rise in the north and gradually unified China. Kuo Duan, the grandson of Genghis Khan, once sent General dodanab to lead Mongolianknights to Tibet. Kuo Duan realized that if he wanted to unify Tibet, he mustmake use of the local religious forces. He learned that the Sakya faction, whichrose in the Sakya area of post Tibet at that time, was increasingly powerful, and that the leader of Sakya temple, Gongga jianzan (also known as SakyaBanzhida), had the greatest influence among all the sects in Tibet, so heinvited Gongga jianzan to Liangzhou (now Wuwei, Gansu Province) to meet withhim.

In 1247 ad, Saban and his nephew, basiba, arrived in Liangzhou. On behalfof the local forces in Tibet, they reached the conditions for Tibet to submit tothe Yuan Dynasty with the Mongolian royal family. At this point, Tibetofficially joined the family of the motherland and became a first-classAdministrative Region under the direct jurisdiction of the central government ofthe Yuan Dynasty. As a result, the Sakya faction gained the trust of the YuanDynasty and the leading position in Tibet.

After the death of gonggajianzan, Kublai Khan summoned basiba in 1253 ADand worshipped him as the emperors teacher. In 1260, Kublai Khan declaredhimself Emperor, granted basiba the title of "guanding National Teacher",granted jade seal, and also appointed him to take charge of the affairs of theGeneral Academy established by the central government, which was in charge ofNational Buddhist affairs and Tibetan local administrative affairs, making him asenior official of the central government of the Yuan Dynasty. In 1265, basibawas ordered to return to Tibet, expanded the northern Sakya temple, establishedthe "Benqin" to manage the local regime, and established the Sakya Dynasty, thelocal regime in Tibet. Tibet was officially under the jurisdiction of thecentral government of the Yuan Dynasty. In 1269 A.D., basiba created Mongoliancharacters, for which he was granted the title of "great magic king" by KublaiKhan.

Today, the North Temple has disappeared. At a glance, the vast ruins in thenorth are still as magnificent as they used to be.

Now we are visiting the South Temple, where the Sakya temple is nowlocated. It was built in 1268 by the fifth generation patriarch of the Sakyasect, basiba. You can see that the appearance of sakyanan temple is veryspecial. There are two rings of walls. There are crenels on the walls, watchtowers at the four corners, and a moat outside. The gate is in the shape of"Gong". The whole plan is in the shape of big "Hui" with small "Hui", which hasa little taste of war defense. In addition to purplish red, the walls are alsoblack and white, which is an important symbol of the Sakya sect.

Now the main hall we enter is called "lacanthim", which means the greattemple, with a height of 100 meters and an area of 5500 square meters. There are40 pillars in the hall, four of which are the thickest. It takes three people toembrace them. The thickest one is 1.5 meters in diameter. Each pillar has alegendary story: the first pillar is the pillar of Kublai Khan emperor, named"Ghana seqingawa", which means the pillar sent by Yuan Dynasty. It is said thatat the beginning, basiba served in most of the Yuan Dynasty. When the emperor ofthe Yuan Dynasty knew that he wanted to go back to Sakya to build a temple, hechose a pillar with a diameter of 4 feet and gave it to him. The pillar wasgood, but it was too big to be transported to Tibet. BASBA returned to Sakyawith regret. But when he returned to Sakya, the big pillar was floating on theZhongqu River in the north of the temple. The second pillar is the wild oxpillar, which is called "Chong Bu GA WA" (meaning "pillar transported by wildyak"), the third pillar is the tiger pillar, which is called "Da Bu GA WA"(meaning "pillar transported by male tiger"); The fourth pillar is the blooddrop pillar, which is called "nabuchazagawa" (meaning the pillar sent by the seagod). According to legend, when the Dragon King sent it, he was injured and bledon the pillar, and now we can see the red blood stains on the pillar. Accordingto the research, they come from the Chentang Valley in the south of Sakya countyand belong to the Himalayan nature reserve.

Please see, there are three Buddha statues of Sakyamuni and a white conchin the hall. In the middle of the hall, this Sakyamuni Buddha named "zhamulinYexia" was cast in memory of sakhaban Zhida gonggajianzan and contains the relicof basiba. The one on the left was built in memory of King baspahat. The one onthe south side of the hall was cast in memory of Sakyamuni Sambu. This whiteconch was given to the emperor of China by the king of India. Kublai Khan, theemperor of the Yuan Dynasty, gave it to basiba.

Out of the gate of the main hall, on the south side of the courtyard ispuzhulacan, which is the Sutra Hall of Sakya sect. The Manjusri Bodhisattva inthe temple is excavated from the underground of the North Temple. It is the mainBuddha in the North Temple. It is said that as long as you recite Manjusriseulogy and mantra for seven days in front of the statue, even the stupid peoplecan enhance their wisdom and make Maos life open. This is one of the fourtreasures of Sakya temple, which is revered by the faithful men and women. Onthe north side of the courtyard is oudonglacan, which contains 11 pagodas forangqiang gonggarenqin, king of sagafa in the 16th century, and his descendants.Angqiang defeated "Lhasa zongba", saved the Sakya sect and restored the Nanbeitemple. He is a famous King of the Sakya sect. The temple has a special halldedicated to this historical figure. Through this hall is the "lakangjiang", inwhich there are six mud pagodas of Sakya monk Dade. In the pagoda Hall of PengCuO Po Zhang in Nansi Sutra hall, there are pagodas or commemorative Buddhastatues of nine people in four generations from Gongga Renqin, the founder ofPeng CuO Po Zhang, to Wangqiu in angwang tudao; in the pagoda Hall of Zhuoma PoZhang, there are six pagodas of Wangqiu and his descendants in Baima dundui.

At the back of the hall is the library of Tibetan scriptures, whichcontains more than ten thousand classics. It is a treasure of gold, silver, cinnabar and ink by calligraphers in Wei, Zang, Kang and other areas during thebasiba period. There is also a "Fangjing", also known as "jialongma" or"budjialong" Scripture. The book is 1.34 meters long, 1.09 meters wide and 67 cmthick. The wooden cover of Carving Dragons and phoenixes was originally 41 cmlong, which was carried by four lamas. It is said that this book was completedby basiba. It was written in gold powder juice and is a treasure handed downfrom generation to generation.

On the right side of the hall, there is a 1.5-foot-high jade bell and asquare jade plate, which are called the two treasures of the temple. The jadebell is used to cover the ever burning lamp in front of the Buddha. The jadeplate is engraved with a Chinese poem, which is inscribed as "awakening stone".Around them are the artifacts such as the magic weapons bestowed by Chinesedynasties and the vests, armor and boots bestowed by the emperors of YuanDynasty. Murals are concentrated in the main hall. On the east wall, there areimages of Sakyas ancestors and eminent monks and some Buddhist allusions. Onthe west wall, there are more than 600 years old murals of mandala and more than60 paintings of xijingang (huanxifo). There are hundreds of scroll paintings inthe main hall, which are art treasures of Tibet.

There are many classics in Sakya temple, of which more than 2800 arehandwritten in Yuan and Ming Dynasties. The Baya Sutra originated in ancientIndia and has a history of more than 1000 years is rare in the world. However, there are 3636 Baya sutras preserved in Sakya temple, which are written inTibetan, Han and Mongolian characters. Only Sakya Temple preserved the most ofthe Tripitaka copied with gold powder and cinnabar. In addition, there wereletters and seals from the emperor of Yuan Dynasty to the local officials ofSakya.

Basiba was granted the title of Queen of Sakya, and the Sakya sect reachedits peak. There are more than 40 temples in Sakya temple, which are all over thebanks of Zhongqu river. However, in the 16th century, it was a pity that a firealmost completely flattened the South Temple. It was not until 1948 that theoriginal appearance of the temple was restored after years of continuousrenovation. Now the Beisi site has been rebuilt, but most of the ground is stillcovered with broken bricks and gravel. Near the foot of the mountain, there is anewly restored white pagoda. It is said that there is a relic of a generation ofSakyas ancestors in the pagoda.

Now I would like to briefly introduce the autumn and winter Dharma meetingsof Sakya Monastery. July of the Tibetan calendar is the autumn Dafa meeting.Lama dancers perform the ancient Vajrayana dance, which is very powerful. At theopening ceremony, 150 actors wearing various animal masks rotate and jump. FromNovember 23 to 29 of the Tibetan calendar, it is called the winter Dafa meeting, and its main content is still the divine dance performance. The Three Dharmaprotectors in Sakya temple are all played by monks. They carry the skeleton ofDharma protector on their shoulders and wear giant ferocious masks as long asone meter. They are as high as one story. This is the most attractive part ofSakya dance. Hundreds of armed warriors in armor and spears performed skillssuch as sword dancing, archery and firearm shooting to commemorate the glory ofthe sects rule over Tibet 700 years ago.

This is the end of the visit to Sakya temple. I believe you will have abrief and general understanding of Sakya temple.

Hello, everyone! First of all, welcome to our company. Please let me sayhello to you in Tibetan: "zaxidler"! Ill explain to you that it means goodluck. Today we are going to visit the famous Jokhang Temple, which is located inthe center of Lhasas old city. It has a history of 1350 years. It is the mostsplendid building in Tibet during the Tuzhu period. It was built in 647 ad, andwas jointly built by Songzanganbu, Princess Tang Wencheng and princess Chizun ofNepal. After several generations of expansion, it has formed a grand scale ofmore than 25100 square meters. It has five golden roofs and 108 Buddhisttemples. It governs the five major sects of Tibetan Buddhism, such as Bon,Ningma, Sakya, Gaju and Gelu, as well as the statues of Buddha, Bodhisattva,Buddha, patriarch and Dharma protector worshipped by various sects.

Dear tourists, when we walk out of the Sutra library, we can see themagnificent wild goose pagoda. When you see this Tang Dynasty building, you mustbe both surprised and curious. First of all, why is the tower named aftergeese?

Now we come to the important Hall of yongzhonglin temple, tongzhuilakang."Tongzhuilakang" means to see, "zhuilakang" means liberation. Tongzhuilakangcovers an area of 80 square meters. There are a pair of silver lamps and amandala in the hall, each made of 70 silver dollars (cast in 1993). In thecenter of the mural is the portrait of Jiangun dawajenzan, surrounded by thethousand Buddha statues of the Bon patriarch dunbaxinrao. The Lingta hall, withan area of more than 40 square meters, is used for Jiangun dawajenzans Lingta, which is 5 meters high and is embedded in two kilograms of gold; There are alsothousands of dunbaxinrao and Tangka of the original Buddha and Bodhisattva sentby Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with the throne of the abbot of the temple;the hall of practice is dedicated to the Dharma God, and there is a coppergilded stupa of Jiangzhong dawajianzan, in which the hands, feet and magicweapons of Jiangzhong dawajianzan are stored.

There is a legend about the origin of the Jokhang Temple. It was 1300 yearsago, when the Lhasa plain was still a wasteland and lake. Chizun, Nepaleseconcubine of the Tibetan king Songzanganbu, tried to build a temple here tosupport the eight year old statue of Sakyamuni Buddha that she brought from herhometown. Her efforts did not succeed: the temple was built in the day andcollapsed at night; it was built today and collapsed tomorrow. Just whenPrincess Ni was distressed and depressed, Princess Wencheng came here fromChangan after many hardships. When Chizun heard that Princess Wencheng knew theeight trigrams of yin and Yang and was good at surveying the terrain, he senthis maid to bring a gift of gold powder to Princess Wenchengs residence foradvice. After surveying and calculating, Wencheng found that the terrain ofTibet is like a huge witch lying on her back. The center of Lhasa city is theheart of the witch, and Wotang Lake (milk Lake) is the work of the witch.Filling the lake and building a temple here can suppress the devil. Historicalrecords: "in order to control the limbs of the female devil lying on her back, people nailed her with 12 nails to fix her." These 12 nails are said to be the12 pillars in the main hall of the Jokhang Temple. In order to build a templededicated to Sakyamuni, it is necessary to mobilize lOOO white goats to carryearth and rock from the gogala mountain in the northern suburbs and fill theWotang lake.

Songzanganbu and the Nepalese Princess adopted the idea of PrincessWencheng, collected many folk men and 1000 white goats, and began to fill thelake to build the temple. At that time, from the lakeside construction site tothe foot of the guogela mountain, there was an endless stream of white goatscarrying earth and rock. The journey was too far and the load was too heavy. Many goats fell by the side of the road, and many more were worn out. When thetemple opened, Songzan Ganbu and his two concubines remembered the merits andsacrifices of the white goat, and ordered the craftsmen to carve a white goatand place it in a corner of the main hall, so that it could enjoy the pilgrimageand sacrifice of believers like other gods in the temple. The temple is alsonamed "raaqulangzulakan", which means "Sakyamuni Temple of the goats negativeland".

Now, in front of the entrance to the main entrance of the Jokhang Temple, there are two stone tablets. This is the Tang fan alliance tablet, also known as"Changqing alliance tablet" or "nephew and alliance tablet". The stele is 342 cmhigh, 82 cm wide and 35 cm thick. It is carved in Chinese and Tibetancharacters. It was built in 823 AD by Zanpu of Tubo to commemorate the Tang Huileague from the first year to the second year of Changqing. According to theinscription, "uncle and nephew are the two masters who discuss the unity of thecountry and establish a great peace treaty. There will never be a replacementfor Chongqing. God and man have been known and praised from generation togeneration." The inscription emphasizes that Tang Wencheng and Princess Jinchengmarried Tubo Zanpu and concluded a good marriage between uncle and nephew;traces the history and achievements of Tang and Tubo, and records the process ofthe alliance, the date of its establishment, and the list of officials whoparticipated in the alliance. It is a valuable cultural relic in the history ofHan and Tibet. The other is the "stone tablet for persuading people tovaccinate". It is 3.3 meters high and 1.2 meters wide. The forehead of the stonetablet is engraved with the pattern of two dragons playing with pearls. It waswritten by He Lin, Minister of Tibet in 1794. During the reign of EmperorQianlong, smallpox was prevalent in Tibet, resulting in many deaths. Theminister and Lin ordered people to build houses in northern Tibet for smallpoxpatients, which made many patients return. He Lin also urged the Dalai Lama andthe Panchen Lama to set aside food rations as a rule, and then set up this "aemonument.". As a result of superstition, the common people often use pebbles tosmash. Over the years, they have been bruised and formed many mortar shapedpits. Most of the characters are damaged and illegible. The famous "tangliu" isplanted on both sides of the Tang fan alliance stele. It is said that PrincessWencheng brought the willow branches given by the empress in Baqiao of Changanto Tibet and planted them around the Jokhang Temple, so it is also called"Princess Liu". Princess Liu has a history of more than 1300 years. Although ithas withered, it is still cherished by people. It is said that there was nowillow in Tibet, but now willows all over the country are developed from theseedlings brought by Princess Wencheng.

Dazhao temple sits east to west, the temple is four stories high, and thetop of the temple is covered with a unique golden roof. Lotus, flying sky andanimals are carved on the border of the hall door, which has the architecturalstyle of the Tang Dynasty. Under the eaves of the second and third floors of themain hall, there are rows of woodcarving Fu beast and mud semicircle sculptureswith Sphinx. Interestingly enough, the nose of the Sphinx is flat. There is alsoa magical legend here: during the construction of the Jokhang Temple, SongzanGanbu personally wielded his axe to the beam, which shocked the nine gods tocome to help. One day, when the maid was delivering tea, she saw that the beamwas full of Songzan dry cloth. She couldnt help but be surprised and quicklytold Princess Chizun. Princess Chizun came to the construction site and yelled"Zanpu". Hearing this, Songzanganbu turned his head and looked down. With an axein his hand, she flattened the nose of the lion on the eaves. As you can see,the whole building is exquisitely carved with flying eaves, which not onlypreserves the traditional Tibetan architectural form and characteristics, butalso integrates the rich and simple style of Tang Dynasty architecture.

At night, when the lights are dim, you can enjoy the beautiful tropicalrainforest square, take a walk on the soft beach along the coast, and listen tothe shallow singing of Dadonghai.

Now we enter from the main gate into the rear gate and clockwise into awide open courtyard. This is the place where Lhasas great Dharma Assembly isheld. Here, I would like to briefly introduce the Church of summoning Dafa.Every year, from the fourth to the 24th day of the first month of the Tibetancalendar, there is a large-scale Dharma Assembly. At that time, tens ofthousands of monks from the three major temples in Lhasa gather in gouzhaotemple to hold a variety of religious activities. The mission of Dafa began in1409, when Tibetan Buddhism was preached

Namco Lake is the largest inland lake in Tibet, which is mainly supplied bynatural precipitation and melting ice and snow. The lake area has lessprecipitation, strong sunshine and large water evaporation. The lake water isbitter and salty, and can not be drunk. It is the second largest salt water lakein China after Qinghai Lake.

In order to commemorate Sakyamuni Buddhas success in defeating six kindsof heretics with the method of divine change, the founder of the Gelug Sect,Zong Kaba, convened monks from various temples to hold a Dharma meeting in theJokhang Temple for 15 days. Prayer and chanting is the main activity of calling.Under the leadership of the master, thousands of monks chant in a well-trainedchest voice. The voice is like the tide of the sea. It has a soul stirring powerand the scene is extremely spectacular. The most winning project is the opendebate of kaogesi in songqure square on the south side of Jokhang Temple. Gexiis the highest degree of Gelug Sect in Tibetan Buddhism. All the monks presentcan take turns to challenge the examinees and argue with him about Confucianclassics. This kind of debate is rhythmic and musical. It is supplemented byhigh fives, shouts, non-stop painting, and long strings of rosary beads flyingwith gestures, which makes a very wonderful scene.

The wall of the colonnade around the courtyard and the wall of the turningcorridor are called thousand Buddha corridor because they are full of Buddhastatues. The mural mainly describes the life stories of Sakyamuni Buddha andzongkaba, the reformer of Tibetan Buddhism and the founder of Gelug Sect. Amural on the west wall depicts the talks between the fifth Dalai Lama, GushiKhan and the second sangjiejiacuo. The rest depicts the 1000 Buddhas to appearin the temple. The murals cover an area of 4400 square meters, coveringreligious stories, biographies of historical figures, commemorative portraits, important historical events, Tibetan customs and folklore, etc. The pictures ofPrincess Wencheng entering Tibet, the construction of the Jokhang Temple, andthe white goat carrying earth are all treasures in the murals of the JokhangTemple.

Now what we are going to do is to turn the Sutra inside. Buddhists turn theSutra clockwise along the Buddhist sacred objects. If the statue of Sakyamuni istaken as the center, Lhasa has three turning paths: inner, middle and outer. Theouter turning road is called "linkuo", which is a turning road along the oldcity of Lhasa. The transit road is called "bakuo", which is the route along theJokhang Temple. The neizhuanjing road is the one around the Jokhang Temple. Thewalls on both sides of the road are painted with 108 stories of Buddha Bensheng. These stories are drawn on the basis of "Ruyi Baoshu", the biography ofSakyamuni, written by Kashmir poet kesmendala, and ordered by the 13th DalaiLama in the early 20th century.

We are now going to visit these important Buddhist temples and sutras hallsin a clockwise direction. Across the inner hall of the Zhaosi temple, there areseveral large statues. On the left is master lianhuasheng, and on the right isMaitreya (future Buddha). A little behind these two statues is the dry handthousand eye Avalokitesvara. On the right side of the main Maitreya Buddha aretwo Maitreya Buddhas facing inward. For example, the smaller one is funded bythe Bashi family, so it is called "Bashi Qiangba", while the larger one isfunded by the noble polamiwang, so it is called "Miwang Qiangba".

Zongkaba and its eight disciples Hall: this Buddhist hall was built inmemory of zongkaba, the founder of Gelug Sect. The main statue in the center ofthe temple is zongkaba. The other eight statues are his eight disciples. The twomost famous disciples, Ke Zhujie and Jia Caojie, are located on the left andright sides of zongkaba statue. When zongkaba grew older and went to the remotecave for seclusion, these eight disciples were there to serve him.

In addition, the Gandan Temple treasures the armor given by EmperorQianlong of the Qing Dynasty and the brocade embroidered Tang Dynasty by EmperorYongle of the Ming Dynasty. The armor inlaid with gold and silver treasures wasgiven to Tibet by Emperor Qianlong in 1757 as a tribute to Zong Kaba, theancestor of the Yellow religion. The helmet is also illustrated in Han, Manchu,Mongolian and Tibetan characters. It is a treasure with high artistic andhistorical value. The brocade Tang Dynasty is a gift given by Emperor Yongle ofMing Dynasty to Shiying Yixi, the king of the great mercy Dharma. There are 24brocade paintings of Sakyamuni Buddha, the eighteen Arhats, and the fourheavenly kings. After the king of the great mercy Dharma returned to Tibet, theywere immediately presented to the supreme master Kaba. These embroidered statuesare displayed for three weeks every year on the 15th of June in the Tibetancalendar, which is called "Gan Dan embroidery Tang Festival". On the morning ofJune 15 of the Tibetan calendar, the monks of the whole temple chanted. Afterthe ceremony, the "Hui Gong Fa Hui" (commonly known as "Chuan Xiao Zhao") washeld. 16 young monks carried the 26 meter long and 10 meter wide Tang Ka ofSakyamuni statue to the exhibition platform for exhibition. Half an hour later, they collected it and sent it back to the yangbaqian Temple for collection. Thenthey took out 24 brocade Tang paintings for the four Buddhists to look forwardto. At the same time, they performed Tibetan opera, song and dance. The festivalatmosphere was very strong.

Shenbian Tower: it is said that in the 7th century, Songzanganbu threw thering into the air, and the site of the Jokhang Temple was determined by theplace where the ring fell. The ring fell into Wotang lake, and a white pagodarose from the lake, indicating that a suitable Temple site had been found. Inthe 13th century, Sakya Banzhida built a white tower according to the appearanceof the illusory white tower. Later, the tower was destroyed. Now the main toweris rebuilt to replace the white tower built by Sakya Banzhida.

Eight pharmacists Buddha Hall: the main hall is dedicated to the eightpharmacists who are respected as the God of medicine. When they are sick orpraying for health, believers think that worshiping this Buddhist temple canhelp them get rid of illness and improve their health.

Avalokitesvara: Avalokitesvara is compassionate. His hands and eyes are farfrom meeting the needs of saving all living beings. Therefore, in order toimprove his efficiency in doing good deeds, he has transformed intoAvalokitesvara. It is said that this Guanyin with dry hands and eyes appearedmiraculously in the period of Songzanganbu. Another way of saying is that afterSongzanganbu and his two princesses died, their gods were inhaled into thisBuddha statue. This temple is the most sacred one except Shizun hall.

In ancient times, on the island along the coast of Yangjiang, fishermenlived happily and peacefully.

It is said that since then, an evil dragon has been swimming in the sea, often making waves, and the fishermens life is not peaceful.

Later, Ma Yuan, the Fubo General of the Eastern Han Dynasty, passed throughYangjiang. Knowing this, he called for a big stone from the sea to suppress thewaves.

This big stone is now the "Butterfly Island" in front of Zhapo town.

From then on, the sea did not raise waves, and fishermen moved in one afteranother, making it a new fishing port.

In memory of the Fubo General Ma Yuan, people built a Ma Yuan Temple on theseaside mountain. A couplet was written at the entrance of the temple: "chishisilently protects the stability of the boat, and the gate wave maintains thepeace of Hailing." it means: General Ma Yuan moved the big stone here to protectthe safety of the fishing boat; the big stone blocked the waves, and the windand waves were calm from then on, maintaining the peace of Hailing Island.

In the north of China, there lies a 6, 700-kilometer-long (4, 161-mile-long) ancient wall. Now well-known as the Great Wall of China, it starts at the Jiayuguan Pass of Gansu Province in the west and ends at the Shanhaiguan Pass of Hebei Province in the east. As one of the Eight Wonders in the world, the Great Wall of China has become the symbol of the Chinese nation and its culture. Lots of beautiful legends and stories about the Great Wall took place following along the construction, and since that time these stories have spread around the country.

Those that happened during construction are abundant, such as Meng Jiangnu‘s story and the legend of the Jiayuguan Pass. Meng Jiangnu‘s story is the most famous and widely spread of all the legends about the Great Wall. The story happened during the Qin Dynasty (221BC- 206BC). It tells of how Meng Jiangnu‘s bitter weeping made a section of the Great Wall collapse. Meng Jiangnu‘s husband Fan Qiliang was caught by federal officials and sent to build the Great Wall. Meng Jiangnu heard nothing from him after his departure, so she set out to look for him. Unfortunately, by the time she reached the great wall, she discovered that her husband had already died. Hearing the bad news, she cried her heart out. Her howl caused the collapse of a part of the Great Wall. This story indicates that the Great Wall is the production of tens of thousands of Chinese commoners. Another legend about the Jiayuguan Pass tells of a workman named Yi Kaizhan in the Ming Dynasty (1368BC-1644BC) who was proficient in arithmetic. He calculated that it would need 99, 999 bricks to build the Jiayuguan Pass. The supervisor did not believe him and said if they miscalculated by even one brick, then all the workmen would be punished to do hard work for three years. After the completion of the project, one brick was left behind the Xiwong city gate.

The supervisor was happy at the sight of the brick and ready to punish them. However Yi Kaizhan said with deliberation that the brick was put there by a supernatural being to fix the wall. A tiny move would cause the collapse of the wall. Therefore the brick was kept there and never moved. It can still be found there today on the tower of the Jiayuguan Pass.

Dali is a beautiful city on the western Yunnan Plateau. It is the mainresidence of Bai nationality. It is one of the first batch of nationalhistorical and cultural cities approved by the State Council. It is also anational key scenic spot.

Dali was called Yeyu in ancient times, which was named after Duan Siping, the leader of Baiman in the Five Dynasties, who established Dali state. In Tangand Song Dynasties, Dali was the political, economic and cultural center ofYunnan.

The scenic spots of Dali include Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake, ancientcity and butterfly spring. Today we are going to visit the Three Pagodas ofChongsheng temple, which has become a symbol of Dali tourism.

General situation of Chongsheng Temple

Chongsheng temple is located 1.5km north of Dali ancient city, adjacent toErhai Lake in the East and yingle peak in Cangshan Mountain in the West.

Chongsheng temple was built in the later period of Nanzhao state, duringthe reign of the tenth generation of Nanzhao king quanfengyou (824-859). Aftercompletion, it was the center of Buddhist activities in Nanzhao state and Dalistate, and became a famous royal temple in Dali state. Therefore, Chongshengtemple has the reputation of "Buddha capital".

Chongsheng temple, also known as the three pagodas temple, is the threepagodas Temple written by Xu Xiake, a traveler of Ming Dynasty, in his diariesof traveling to Yunnan, and the Tianlong Temple mentioned by Jin Yong, a masterof modern martial arts fiction, in his eight chapters of Tianlong. Themagnificent architecture of Chongsheng temple was burned down in the Tongzhiperiod of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, and only the three pagodas remainedintact.

"Sheng" in Chongsheng Temple refers to Guanyin. The worship of Guanyin isvery popular in Dali. The annual March street is also called Guanyin street."Continued Yunnan Tongzhi" records: "there are three pagodas in front ofChongsheng temple. There is a statue of Guanyin in the temple. It is two Zhangand four feet high. It was cast by Dong Shanming in Tang and Mengdynasties."

In March 1961, it was announced by the State Council as one of the firstbatch of key cultural relics protection units in China. In 20__, it was rated asnational AAAA tourist area.

Chongsheng temple is here. Please follow me out.

Basic knowledge of tower

Entering the gate, we can clearly see the three towers above the steps. Thelarger one in the front square is called Qianxun tower, and the smaller one atthe back on both sides.

Originated in India, the pagoda was first used as a Buddhist relic in theshape of a semicircular tomb. After it was handed down to China, it combinedwith traditional Chinese architecture and evolved into a variety of forms, suchas Pavilion style, close eaves style, covered bowl style, King Kong throne styleand so on. The three towers we see now are of close eaves type.

In addition to the three pagodas, there are also one pagoda and snake bonepagoda.

Chihiro tower

The full name of Qianxun pagoda is "Dharma Realm Tongling Mingdao Chengta".It was built in Nanzhao quanfengyou period of Tang Dynasty. It is said that ittook Gongtao and Huiyi craftsmen 48 years to design and build it.

Qianxun tower stands on a two-story tall platform. It is 69.13 meters highand has 16 floors. It is a rare even number tower with more floors in China.

The structure of the tower is a hollow brick tower with dense eaves andhollow core. In ancient times, there were well shaped stairs for people toclimb.

From bottom to top, it is composed of tower base, tower body and towerbrake. There is a white marble Buddha statue in the niche, and the niches onboth sides are window openings. The direction of the window openings on the twofloors is staggered alternately to facilitate the lighting and ventilation inthe tower, and the staggered opening of windows is conducive to the firmness ofthe tower.

From the third and fourth floors, the eaves of the pagoda graduallyconverge inward, and finally converge at the top of the pagoda. The outline ofthe pagoda body is not a rigid straight line upward, but a curve of adductionupward and downward and slightly convex in the middle. Its shape is similar tothat of Xian small wild goose pagoda.

Once upon a time, there was a bronze golden winged bird in each corner ofthe top of the tower, which was said to be used to suppress the dragon, demonand water monster in Erhai Lake.

Zhaobi

There is a Zhaobi on the east side of the pagoda. On the Zhaobi there arefour regular script characters of "Yongzhen mountains and rivers", each of whichis 1.7 meters high. It was written by Mu Shijie, the Duke of Qian state in MingDynasty.

There are two reasons for these four words: one is that there are manyfloods in Dali, "Yongzhen mountains and rivers" is intended to subdue thefloods, and the Dapeng golden winged bird on the top of the tower is also athing to subdue the dragon; the other is that after Dali was incorporated intothe territory of the Ming Dynasty, "Yongzhen mountains and rivers" under thetitle of Qian Guogong (mu Shijie, the grandson of Mu Ying), who guarded Yunnan, was intended to defend Yunnan mountains and rivers to the death.

Hello, everyone, welcome to the southernmost city of Chinese mainland toZhanjiang. Once a great man Deng Xiaopings sentence "Qingdao in the north,Zhanjiang in the South" incisively outlines a charming Zhanjiang which can becompared with Qingdao. Zhanjiang, like Qingdao, is also one of the first batchof open tourist cities in China. At the same time, Zhanjiang has a uniquegeographical location, rich natural resources and beautiful coastal scenery, just like a dazzling pearl, inlaid in the South China Sea.

Zhanjiang has a total land area of 12470.5 square kilometers, which can beillustrated by the following districts and cities.. Four are four urban areas:Chikan District, Xiashan District, Potou district and Mazhang district; threeare three county-level cities: Leizhou City, Wuchuan City and Lianjiang City;two are two counties: Suixi County and Xuwen County; one is a national economicand Technological Development Zone. Zhanjiang is located in the southernmostChinese mainland. The southwest of Guangdong province is located in the LeizhouPeninsula, east of the South China Sea, the west coast of the Beibu Gulf, thesouth facing the sea from Hainan, the North southwest, and the Guangdong,Guangxi and Qiong provinces. It is the necessary place for Hainan Island to goto the mainland, the main outlet for the southwest China, and the NorthwestHepu, Bobai and Lu Chuan county. Adjacent to the northeast, it borders MaonanDistrict, Huazhou City and Dianbai County of Maoming City. It is also theshortest foreign trade port from the mainland of China to Southeast Asia,Africa, Europe, Oceania and the Middle East. It plays an important role in theBeibu Gulf economic circle and Asia Pacific Economic Circle.

Zhanjiang is located in the low latitude zone south of the Tropic ofcancer. It has a North tropical marine monsoon climate. The annual averagetemperature is about 22.8 degrees, and the hottest month is July and August. Theaverage temperature is 30 degrees. The coldest months are January and February, and the average temperature is about 15 degrees. There is no severe cold inwinter and no severe heat in summer. The warm climate makes Zhanjiang green allthe year round, forming a unique North tropical plant ecological landscape.

The design idea of the sculpture is to symbolize Zhanjiang peoples"sailing to the world" with sails, which is known as Zhanjiang City logo "windis flying". Unexpectedly, this group of "three sails" sculptures are more likethree machetes standing on the ground than sails. Whats more bizarre is thatthe sculpture faces the office buildings of the customs, border control and taxauthorities. In the anti smuggling activities of the state a few years ago, thesculpture of this city was like "three knives" that "chopped" the three mainleaders of Zhanjiang customs, frontier defense and tax respectively. Therefore, the local people say that the presence of these three knives is also a wake-upcall for these government units. If they do not abide by the law, they will cutthem off.

Having said so much, how did the name of Zhanjiang come from? Why wasZhanjiang called "Guangzhou Bay" before?

Zhanjiang belongs to Baiyue of Chu state in the pre Qin period. In the QinDynasty, it belonged to Xiang County, and in the Han Dynasty, it belonged toHezhou. In the song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Jun, Lu andFu. In modern history, Zhanjiang was a French colony. After the second OpiumWar, that is, in 1898, France coerced the Qing government to lease Guangzhou Bayin the three counties of South Wuchuan for 99 years. Then, the French colonistswantonly expanded the scope of leased land by force and occupied a large area ofland along the harbor (now Zhanjiang Harbor Area), which was collectivelyreferred to as Guangzhou Bay (Zhanjiang area was formerly known as "GuangzhouBay"). This name was formed in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Some scholarsbelieve that it was named because there are "Guangzhou Bay" villages in thethree southern islands. Others believe that it was named because gaolei mansionis under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou and the map is in the middle of"Guangzhou". In 1897, the French warship Bayard broke into the "Guangzhou Bay"to avoid typhoon, and was moved by this deep-water harbor. The government leasedthe "Guangzhou Bay",

It opened the prelude of the colonial history of Guangzhou Bay. In April1898, the French invaders occupied haitouxun (jinxiashan) and set up theirterritory in the mainland, which was resisted by the local people for more thana year. On November 16, 1899, China and France signed the Treaty of Canton Bayconcession between China and France, which collectively referred to theterritory in the concession as "Canton bay" and leased it to France in 1999. Tocommemorate the Bayard, the French called the central city of Guangzhou Bay"fort Bayard". From the outbreak of the Pacific War to 1943, Guangzhou Bay wasin a stable state and enjoyed a short-term prosperity. On February 21, 1943,Japan and France signed the agreement on joint defense of Guangzhou Bay, whichwas occupied by Japan. After the surrender of Japan, on August 18, 1945, Wuguoframe, chief executive of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the nationalgovernment of China, and Dai Litang, acting office of the French Embassy inChina, signed the "treaty between the national government of the Republic ofChina and the provisional government of France on the handover of the leasedland in Guangzhou Bay" in Chongqing on behalf of the Chinese and Frenchgovernments, and the leased land in Guangzhou Bay was returned to China. OnAugust 22, the Guangdong provincial government, by order of the nationalgovernment, established the leased land in Guangzhou Bay as a provincial city, named Zhanjiang City. Zhanjiang City was liberated on December 19, 1949. )Zhanjiang is called "Zhanjiang City". In fact, there is another saying. BecauseZhanjiang belonged to Shenchuan County in ancient times, and Zhanjiang wassurrounded by the sea on three sides, it was changed into Zhan, which impliedthe sky and the blue sea water of Zhanjiang. There are three main roads inZhanjiang, namely Renmin Avenue, Shenchuan Avenue and Haibin Avenue. These threemain roads are just three parallel lines, On the map, its just like the Chinesecharacter Chuan. Because Chuan means water and river, its changed to "River".The name of Zhanjiang comes from this..

Zhanjiang is famous for its outstanding people, rich specialties andbeautiful environment. It is the southernmost city in mainland China; GuangdongProvince was first listed as one of the 14 coastal port cities open to theoutside world by the state; the coastline is 1556 km long, accounting for about2 / 5 of the total coastline and 1 / 10 of the whole country, which is thelargest in the whole Province; Zhanjiang port is one of the deep-water ports inChina; Xuwen Coral Reef group, a national nature reserve with an area of 143.7square kilometers, is the coral reef group with the largest area and variety inChina. It has 1.49 million mu of marine beach, accounting for 48% of theprovince, the largest in the province. Donghai Island, with an area of 286square kilometers, is the largest island in the province and the fifth largestisland in the country; Donghai island beach is 28 kilometers long, of which20663 meters is the continuous part, which is certified as "the longest beach inChina" by Shanghai Guinness; the northeast of Leizhou Peninsula in Zhanjiang hasthe largest area in China and the largest low-temperature geothermal field withthermal fluid reserves; Zhanjiang is an important base for offshore oil and gasdevelopment services in South China, and the South China Sea near Zhanjiang isone of the four major offshore oil and gas accumulation centers in the world;Zhanjiangs salt production ranks first in the province, with a productioncapacity of 150000 tons, accounting for half of the provinces sea saltproduction; Zhanjiang is one of the four major sugar industry bases in China, and the largest municipal sugar industry base in China; Zhanjiang has more than180000 Mu pineapple base and more than 140000 Mu mango base, ranking first inthe province.

Zhanjiang is the largest marine pearl breeding base in China. BecauseZhanjiang faces the sea three times, most of the harbors have moderate salinity, small waves and rich bait organisms, which are suitable for pearl breeding. Themain pearl culture areas are Leizhou, Xuwen and Suixi in Leizhou Peninsula.Among the sea pearls, "Nanzhu" has the best quality and the highest grade.Leizhou Peninsula is the main producing area of South Pearl; pearl peoplegathered pearls as early as Qin Dynasty, and pearls were abundant in later HanDynasty. Emperors of all dynasties sent internal supervisors to Zhuchi tocollect pearls and pay tribute to the imperial court.

Dear tourists

Hello everyone! Welcome to Badaling scenic spot for sightseeing. I am veryhappy to accompany you to visit today. I hope you can have a good time inBadaling.

The Great Wall is one of the most famous wonders in the world. It is like agiant dragon in the vast land of northern China. It is not only thecrystallization of the blood law of the ancient Chinese working people, but alsothe symbol of ancient Chinese culture and the pride of the Chinese nation.

Tourists, we have come to the famous Badaling Great Wall. If you look at itfrom a distance, you can see that the great wall here is divided into South andNorth peaks, winding on the ridge. The scenery is very spectacular. Lookingdown, there are two door openings and a U-shaped city wall. There were crenelson both sides of the wall to resist the enemy. If the enemy breaks through thegate and rushes into the city, he will be surrounded and annihilated by thegarrison on all sides, and the enemy will fall into the urn. Wengcheng is animportant part of the Great Wall. It is generally built on the roads withdangerous terrain. The urn in Badaling is no exception. Built on the ridge, restricted by the terrain, it is low in the East and high in the west, narrow inthe East and wide in the west, only 5000 square meters. There is no well in theurn City, and there is a lack of water. Usually, there are not many troopsstationed in the urn city. The garrison is stationed in Chadao City, three milesnorthwest. There is a "Chayuan mansion" in the Central Plains of Wengcheng, which is for the emperor to stay or officials to stay. The distance between thetwo gates of the urn is 63. At 9 meters, the lintel of the west gate bears thetitle of "lock key at the North Gate". I have already explained its purpose. Onthe gate hole, Gujin is equipped with a huge double leaf wooden door with woodentop posts and locks. In peacetime, the gate is open for pedestrians and businesstravelers to enter and leave freely; in wartime, the gate is closed and firm;once the counterattack order is issued, the gate hole is the exit for thousandsof troops to launch a charge. The lintel of the east gate of the urn, with thetitle of "Juyong Wai Gai", was built in the 18th year of Jiajing reign of theMing Dynasty. On the platform of Guancheng, the town of juyongwai, there was astone tablet carved during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. From theinscriptions, we can see the Great Wall, which took more than 80 years tocomplete. The stele also records the time and length of the construction of theGreat Wall, the presiding officer, the foreman, the burner, the potter, thebricklayer and their names, so as to clarify their responsibilities. Standing onthe city and looking down, we can see the constant traffic and tourists passingthrough the door. This is not only an important military defense pass in ancienttimes, but also an important traffic route. From here to Changping and Beijingin the south, to Yanqing in the north, and to Xuanhua and Zhangjiakou in thenorthwest, "the road is divided and extends in all directions.". Badaling alsogot its name.

Looking down to the right, there is a big gun on display in the south ofdengchengkou, which is called "general Weida". The gun is two in length. It is85 meters in diameter and 105 mm in diameter. It got its name because of the"imperial edict granted to the powerful general" on the body of zhongpao. Thelargest range of the word is more than 500 meters, which shows that the militaryindustry at that time was relatively developed.

From Guancheng platform to the highest part of Nanfeng, the South 4thfloor, with a wall of 685 meters long. 8 meters, height rise 142. 4 meters, especially between the South 3rd floor and the South 4th floor, the ridge isnarrow, the mountain is steep, and the Great Wall stretches more than 400meters. The most dangerous part of the city top is about 70 degrees, almoststraight up and down. The South 1st floor and the south 2nd floor have not beenrestored. Judging from the plinth of the South 3rd floor, there are alsopavilions.

The fourth floor south of Nanfeng Great Wall is the highest, with analtitude of 803. Six meters. Looking from the tower, the Great Wall winds fromsouthwest to northeast over the ridge, just like a dragon, magnificent. Itreminds us of the poem that Mr. Luo Zhewen, a famous expert on the great wall ofChina, chanted when he visited the Badaling Great Wall. Lock the key to thenorth gate, the sky is dangerous, and the mountain is half steep. From the South4th floor to the South 7th floor, the height decreases gradually. Between theSouth 5th floor and the South 6th floor, a small white Pavilion stands on theridge 30 meters away from the city wall on the inside of the Great Wall. This isthe "memorial Pavilion for the restoration of the Great Wall in GuizhouProvince" completed in June 1987. The South 6th floor is a shop, which is builton the top of the upper floor. It is three rooms wide, with a hard top, redpillars, gray tiles, small and exquisite. This is probably the command post ofthe "thousand generals" at that time.

Todays great wall has long lost its military value. With its unique charm,it attracts the vast number of Chinese and foreign tourists and has become aworld-famous tourist attraction. With the development of tourism, the GreatWall, a symbol of the Chinese nation and an important cultural heritage in theworld, will radiate new vitality. Welcome everyone with better tourism serviceand more beautiful tourism environment!

Dear tourists

Hello and welcome to Fuzhou. Im your tour guide.

Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, is located in the southeast coastand the lower reaches of the Minjiang River. As a coastal provincial capitalcity, it is also the nearest provincial capital city to Chinese Taiwan on the mainlandof China. It is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese and the ancestral home ofChinese Taiwan compatriots in China. It is also an important platform for exchanges andcooperation with Chinese Taiwan on the West Bank of the Straits. Fuzhou is also one ofthe cities in the southeast coastal areas of China that developed earlier.

According to the archaeological findings so far, at least 7000 years ago, there were ancestors who multiplied this time. The early Fuzhou people made aliving by fishing and hunting. They were our new people, called "Min people".With "golden hair, blue eyes, white skin." At that time, the ancient min peopleused snakes as totems. As soon as they went door to door, they could see a snakeworshipped in the center of the hall. In the past, no matter what kind of snakewas called an insect, so an insect in the door was the source of FujianProvince.

Fuzhou belonged to Yue during the spring and Autumn period and the WarringStates period. After Qin Shihuang unified the six states, Minzhong county wasset up here to govern Fuzhou. Later, in the fifth year of emperor Gaozu of theHan Dynasty, Wu Zhu became the king of Fujian and Yue, and began to build thefirst city of Fuzhou, Yecheng. Fuzhou has a history of more than 200 years sinceYecheng. After that, Fuzhou experienced six times of city expansion, and becamethe imperial capital for five times. In the 13th year of Kaiyuan in TangDynasty, people found that there was a mountain in the northwest of Fuzhou citycalled Fushan, so the city got its name because of the mountain, called"Fuzhou", which has been called to this day. Its really a blessed state withoutstanding people and geomantic omen!

The word "Fu" was first used in the Qing Dynasty Kangxi dictionary to add ahorizontal, a mouth and a field beside the word "Yi". In other words, as long asa person has a piece of clothing to wear, a bite to eat, and a share of farming,it is the greatest blessing. Up to now, "happiness" has a deeper meaning, thatis, longevity, good virtue, good death. And the "blessed state" shows itsconnotation even more. It has not only the spirit of mountain, the spirit ofwater, but also the blessing of people. In Fuzhou, we will enjoy the blessingsof heaven, earth, eyes, mouth and purity

Comfort weather: Fuzhou has a warm and humid subtropical marine monsoonclimate, with an average annual temperature of about 16-20 degrees. The climateis mild and pleasant with abundant rainfall, which is suitable for crop growth. There are lots of vegetables in the four seasons. There are melon seeds inJanuary, sugarcane in February, loquat in March, bayberry in April, peach inMay, litchi in June, guava in July, longan in August, persimmon in September, olive in October, pear in November and tangerine in December to celebrate thenew year. )In addition, the sea area of Fuzhou is also very vast, which isequivalent to the land area. Therefore, Fuzhou has many good harbors and a widevariety of aquatic fish. It is one of the three major natural mariculture basesin China. In short, there are more trees, flowers, fruits and seafood all yearround.

Land with mountains and water: from the perspective of terrain, the uncannyworkmanship of nature has long been the unique terrain of Fuzhou

Appearance - there are mountains on three sides and the sea on one side. There are Gushan in the East, Qishan in the West and Shoushan in the north. Themother river, Minjiang River, runs through the urban area, forming a momentum of"pillow mountain, face sea and bend river". Another nursery rhyme says, "threemountains are hidden, three mountains are visible, three mountains areinvisible." There are nine mountains in the center of Fuzhou City. Three of themare hidden. Three of them are invisible. Of course, three of them are visible. They are Wushan, Yushan and Pingshan. There is a tower called Wuta on Wushanmountain, while there is a tower called Baita on Wushan mountain. The two towersface each other from afar, forming the urban pattern of "three mountains, twotowers and one river". The "tiaojiang" here is of course the Minjiang River. Itoriginates from the Wuyishan mountains in the north of Fujian Province. Its mainstream is 577 km long, and its drainage area accounts for about half of thewhole province. 70% of Fujian people grew up drinking water from the MinjiangRiver, so we affectionately call it the mother river of Fujian. Bing Xin, aliterary master from Fujian, praised her like this: "I only know there is a bluesea, but I dont know there is a green river. This is the hometown of myparents. Fuchun River is not as quiet as her, Pearl River is not as quiet asher. " Yu Dafu, a famous writer, also compares the Min River to the Rhine Riverin China. He thinks that the Min River is more beautiful than the Rhine River inEurope. In addition, there are more than 42 rivers in Fuzhou, large and small, with a total length of more than 99 kilometers. You may see many cities likeFuzhou with mountains and water, but I dont think many cities like Fuzhou havemountains outside the city and mountains inside the city, not only rivers andrivers, but also sea water!

Fuzhou has been known as "banyan city" since ancient times. When we enteredthe city, 80% of the trees planted on both sides were banyan trees. Fuzhoubanyan planting can be traced back to the Northern Song Dynasty, which has ahistory of more than 800 years. At that time, there was a prefect named ZhangBoyu. One summer, the weather was hot. He went to the countryside to inspect thepeoples situation. As he walked, he felt a little heat stroke and fever. Atthis time, I happened to meet a kind old farmer. He helped the prefect to restunder a tree and brought him a bowl of water. After drinking water, the prefectwoke up. Looking up, I came across a big tree. He asked the old farmercuriously, "what kind of tree is this, why can it grow so well here?". The oldfarmer told him that it was called banyan, and it was the most suitable place togrow in such a hot place as Fuzhou. The next day he planted two big banyan treesin front of his Yamen. And also called on the local people to plant banyantogether. For a time, Fuzhou was full of green, and the heat was not enough. Thereputation of Rongcheng has been handed down since then. Fuzhou is one of theexcellent tourist cities in China. There are more than 150 famous historicalsites in the city, and 17 of them have been listed in the national key culturalrelics protection units. There are so many scenic spots that you can have a goodlook!

Its delicious. You should control your saliva. I believe you have heardthat Fujian cuisine in Fuzhou is one of the eight major cuisines in China. Thechief representative dish of Fujian cuisine is called "fo Tiao Qiang", formerlyknown as "Fu Shou Quan". It is said that it was first made by the wife of anofficial. Is a collection of delicacies in one of the hodgepodge. Later, ZhengChunfa, the founder of Fujian cuisine, ran a restaurant called juchunyuan, wherea group of Juren and scholars came to sing poems. "Fu Shou"

As soon as the table was lifted and the lid of the altar was opened, thefragrance suddenly overflowed, and everyone clapped their hands and exclaimed,"the altar opened, the meat and fragrance floated around, and the Buddha heardthat he had abandoned Zen and jumped over the wall.". From then on, "Fu ShouQuan" changed its name to "fo Tiao Qiang" and became famous. In addition, Fuzhoualso has chicken soup boiled clam, lychee meat and other specialties. There arefish balls, meat swallow, light cake, taro and so on, when famous, absolutelylet you feast!

Finally, I would like to introduce the Qingfu of bathing in hot springs.Fuzhou is one of the three rare hot spring cities in China

One. "The five phoenixes and the rising sun give birth to Lishui, and theJiulong meridians give birth to golden soup." Fuzhou hot spring was developedand used as early as Jin Dynasty. It has a long history and is well-known.Fuzhou hot spring has three characteristics. First, the water temperature ishigh; second, the water volume is large and the burial depth is shallow. Third, the water quality is good, colorless and tasteless. Some hot springs alsocontain potassium, sodium and other trace elements, which have a good effect onthe treatment of skin diseases and painful arthritis. Now, please look along myleft hand. We have arrived at the first stop, Jintang hot spring resort inFuzhou. Next, please take your valuables and follow Xiao Wu to get off the carto take a bath. Lets wash away the dust and tiredness along the way. Lets havea good time bathing in the hot spring!

As a famous historical and cultural city, Fuzhou has four cultural tourismbrands: Tanshishan, Sanfangqixiang, chuanzheng and shoushanshi. Although it isfar away from the Central Plains, it has been built as the capital of emperorsfor five times in history. ① the first time was when Emperor Gaozu of HanDynasty established Minyue kingdom here. ② In the Five Dynasties and ten states, the capital of Fujian was established. ③ At the end of the Southern SongDynasty, song duanzong fled to Fuzhou, registered in Fuzhou, and promoted Fuzhouto "Fuan Fu" as the capital. ④ At the end of Ming Dynasty, Emperor Longwuestablished the second Nanming regime in Fuzhou, which was called "Tianxingmansion". ⑤ The last time, in 1933, the 19th Route Army of the Kuomintanglaunched the "Fujian incident" in Fuzhou and established the "peoplesrevolutionary government of the Republic of China", with the capital inFuzhou.

As an excellent tourist city in China, Fuzhou has rich natural and culturaltourism resources. If you like mountaineering, you can go to Gushan, Qishan andQingyun mountains. Almost every mountain around you is a good touristattraction. If you like to play with water, you can not only visit the West Lakeand Zuohai, enjoy the scenery on both sides of Minjiang River, but also catch upwith the tide in Pingtan and Changle; If you like to see historic sites, Fuzhouhas a history of more than 20__ years. There are many ancient buildings, templesand former residences of celebrities. As long as you have time, you will have afeast for your eyes.

Members, Fuzhou was built in the Han Dynasty. In the Tang Dynasty, it wasrenamed Fuzhou because of the Fushan mountain in the north of Fuzhou. Later, inthe Song Dynasty, banyan trees were planted all over the city, resulting in aunique landscape of "green shade all over the city, but not covered in summer".Therefore, Fuzhou became known as "banyan city", and the louder it became, thebanyan trees became the city trees of Fuzhou.

Do you know what the city flower of Fuzhou is? As a reminder, in our car,it is filled with the fragrance of flowers. Yes, its Jasmine. Summer is theseason of jasmine Blossom. Drivers like to buy strings to hang in the car, whichnot only purifies the air, but also decorates the carriage. This is calledkilling two birds with one stone. Perhaps ah, many people dont know that thisjasmine is not Chinese nationality. It comes from Persia, which is now India andArabia. It was settled in Fuzhou when it was introduced into China from theWestern Han Dynasty, so it has been cultivated for 20__ years. Fuzhou is notonly the first place to introduce Jasmine in China, but also the birthplace ofjasmine tea. Jasmine is an imported product and a witness of Fuzhou marineculture. It can be seen that as early as the Han Dynasty, Fuzhou began to havetrade with overseas countries, and it has been an important international tradeport city in China since ancient times.

Members of the group, Fuzhou is a blessed state. I believe that all thepeople who come to Fuzhou are blessed. Fuzhou is blessed. Where is the blessing?Xiao Luo thinks that it lies in the immortal spirit of mountains, the spirit ofwater and the talent of people. Its said that its boring to have mountainswithout water, monotonous to have mountains without water, and wonderful to havemountains with water. Fuzhou is not only surrounded by mountains, but also hasWushan, Yushan and Pingshan mountains in the city. The two towers of Baita andWuta face each other, and the mother river Minjiang River passes through thecity, forming a unique urban pattern of "three mountains, two towers and oneriver".

The city is not big, there is water is spirit. Fuzhou, the city with thehighest density of inland rivers in China, still has 42 inland rivers. Accordingto the preliminary planning, Fuzhou will be divided into scenic river, navigableriver and Drainage River. I believe that in the near future, you can enjoy thecity appearance of Fuzhou by boat.

Members, when it comes to water, we have to say that Fuzhou is one of thethree hot spring areas in China. It is widely distributed, shallow buried, hightemperature, large water quantity and good water quality. The most rare thing isthat our hot springs are concentrated in the city center, which is extremelyrare in major cities in the world. Since ancient times, it has been known as"bathing in Fuzhou". Fuzhou people began to enjoy hot springs more than 1000years ago. Old Fuzhou people call hot spring hot soup. Every time after busy, after work, to the bath to "hot", that happiness is absolutely not todays saunacan compare. So far, when the old overseas Chinese came back to visit theirrelatives, they still sighed: "its good to go sightseeing, but its not as goodas taking a hot spring bath in their hometown."

So, some people say that if you come to Fuzhou and havent been to hotsprings, it means you havent been to Fuzhou. But dont worry. There are hotsprings in the hotel arranged by our travel agency. You can enjoy it in theevening.

From Tang and Song Dynasties to Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were 23 topscholars from Fuzhou, and more than 4000 Jinshi. In modern Chinese history, there were many celebrities, including Lin Zexu, a national hero, Yan Fu, awestern scholar, Bing Xin, a literary grandmother, and Chen Jingrun, amathematician. Therefore, Fuzhou is a "coastal Zou Lu" to the letter.

This shows that Fuzhou people not only enjoy life, but also study hard.Members of the group, as the saying goes, one side of the soil and waternourishes one side of the people. Fuzhou people have always been content withtheir work. They can not only endure hardships, but also adapt in time. Beingrich makes the city very tolerant and not exclusive at all. Fuzhou dialectsounds like a foreign language, but on many occasions, people still speakMandarin, even the older generation of Fuzhou people are no exception. They alllearn to say a few words, but sometimes the pronunciation is not very standard. As a matter of fact, Fuzhou dialect is the "living fossil" of ancient Chinese. At the bottom of it is the language of the ancient Minyue people. After severalgreat migrations to the north in history, these immigrants brought the ancientWu language, the ancient Chu language, and some spoken Chinese from the CentralPlains, which are integrated into todays Fuzhou dialect. It sounds like amixture of the north and the south. This is the characteristic of Fuzhou. Interms of language, work and life, all ethnic groups and multi cultures cantolerate each other and live in harmony here. As Lin Zexu said, "the seaembraces all rivers, and tolerance is great." it embodies the urban spirit ofFuzhou.

Members of the group, wherever we go, we cant help but pay attention toits catering culture. In Fuzhou, its food culture has a long history. Fujiancuisine, represented by Fuzhou Cuisine, is one of the eight major cuisines inChina. Among them, fo Tiao Qiang is the chief dish of Fujian cuisine, which hasa history of more than 100 years. As for the flavor snacks, they are all overthe streets, such as meat swallow, Dingbian paste, fish balls and so on. Ourtravel agency also has arrangements for you, and then you can have a goodtaste.

Members of the group, looking forward to the future, Fuzhou City isexpanding eastward and southward at a modern pace. It may no longer be anancient city with "three mountains, two towers and one water flowing for a longtime", but a group of modern cities with reasonable structure, suitable forhuman habitation and economic growth. It is the peoples goal of Fuzhou to buildan economic zone on the west side of the Chinese Taiwan Strait and to become a biggerand stronger central city. Fuzhou is an open city. It is opening its hands towelcome everyone.

Therefore, we warmly welcome more friends to visit Fuzhou and feel thecharm of the ancient city of Fuzhou. I believe that a blessed state will let youreturn with good fortune. All right, members of the group, we have arrived atthe hotel unconsciously. Now, please take care of your luggage and belongings. Please walk slowly. thank you!

Remarks: there is no surname of Yu, a descendant of King Gou Jian of Yue.He was born in the late Warring States period and died in the early Han Dynasty. He was the 13th grandson of Gou Jian, the king of Yue. After the disintegrationof the state of Yue, Wu Zhu moved to Fujian and occupied Fujian and itssurrounding areas, claiming to be the king of Fujian and Yue. After theunification of the Qin Dynasty, he was reduced to the chief. In Qin Dynasty,Minzhong county was under its jurisdiction. Without any anger, the king who wasremoved led the Minzhong soldiers to destroy Qin. When the Qin Dynasty died, thenarrow Xiang Yu was in charge of the government order, and Wu Zhu, who had abumpy official career, had no chance to be the king of Min again. The restlessfactors in his blood once again prompted him to lead his troops to fight againstChu, and made great contributions to the establishment of the Han Dynasty andthe reunification of China.
