我最近非常惦念中国人民，在过去的两周当中，我密切地关注着这场发生在可恨的地震带来的破坏及影响。在此期间，最令人印象深刻的是中国政府和人民的人道主义的行动，为这些受到灾难的人民带来了高速及有效的援助。我感到特别欣慰的是，旨在帮助这些在灾难中丧失双亲的孩子们的汶川大地震孤儿救助专项基金已经得到成立。

我同时也想借这次机会，向这次灾难后的中国人民致以我最深切的同情，并向失去亲人的人们致以我发自内心深处的慰问。

我的王子基金比过去更紧密地在和中国合作，包括从某种程度上帮助保护中国丰富及多样化的文化遗产，我们将非常乐意来进一步发展这些合作，特别是王子基金中环境重建的项目，来参与XX省的灾后重建工作。
