闻名天下的蓬莱阁自建成雏形后,历代文人骚客慕名而来者甚多,置此佳景胜地,他们往往雅兴大发,挥书泼墨。

在天后宫前院的戏楼两侧各有红褐色巨石三尊,两两相对,像三台星座。为此清代大学者阮元命名此石为三台石,刻石嵌于天后宫前殿外壁上。阮元在清代官至湖广、云南总督,精于书法,善于雕刻金石,墨迹传世不多,此隶书刻石极为珍贵。

众多名人的墨宝中,有两处别有典故。一处是蓬莱阁主阁后壁上的“海不扬波”,细看这气势雄伟的字体,你会察知那“不”字明显是后来补上的。这是怎么回事?据介绍,1840年鸦片战争爆发后,山东巡抚托浑布兼办海防。当有一天他登上蓬莱阁时,望着广阔无际的大海,触景生情,挥笔写下了“海不扬波”四个字,表达了他希望万里海疆平安无事的心情。哪知道,1894年,甲午战争爆发了,战火蔓延至蓬莱。1895年1月18日,日舰炮击蓬莱,一发炮弹(碰巧是哑弹)击中了“不”字,于是“海不扬波”成了“海扬波”。这启发人们没有富强的国家和强大的海防,海不扬波的愿望始终是个幻想。

他身边站的是八位判官。

我们先看东边的四位。

下面的就是风婆婆了,她手里拿的风口袋,只要把手松一松便会狂风四起。

最后一位就是雨神。

八位判官分工明确,各负其责,听命于龙王的调遣。

这里是龙王办公的地方,后面便是他休息的地方了。

后殿过去有龙王的木雕象和龙王出行的步辇、仪仗,那是人们为了求雨所设的。

古时候人们遇上酷旱,便到这里顶礼膜拜,然后头戴柳条帽高呼“求大雨”“求大雨”,抬着龙王的雕像走街串巷,走到哪儿两边住户都要端水泼洒,讨个吉利。

如缕求不应,便把龙王爷抬到烈日下暴晒。

当龙王大汗淋漓时,他就会兴云布雨了。

这也是龙王脸黑的原因。

经过子孙殿,接下来我们游览天后宫。

天后宫是蓬莱阁建筑群中规模最大的建筑单体,始建于北宋宣和四年(公元1122年),占地面积3000多平方米。

首先我们看一下戏楼,每年正月十六为天后宫庙会,在这里会有戏曲演出为天后祝寿。

这上面的“观止矣”匾额,即“叹为观止”,意思是看了这里的戏,别处的戏就不需要再看了。

我们先来看看前殿的两位门神,一是嘉应,一是嘉佑,是保护天后的神将,传说他们都是天后在莆田湄洲降伏的妖怪。

院内有一棵唐槐,已经有一千多年历史了,虽然树干已经中空,依然枝繁叶茂。

相传当年八仙中的铁拐李与吕洞宾在这里下棋,烈日当头,为了遮荫,铁拐李从他那宝葫芦里取出一粒树种,撒在地下,霎时间长出了这棵大树,于是浓荫蔽日,凉风习习,好不逍遥。

清道光十六年(公元1836年),天后宫失火,烧毁宫观30余间,近在咫尺的这棵唐槐却安然无恙,实在是令人称奇!这个树还有个特点就是它的发芽和落叶都比别的树晚一个月。

我们往前走,进天后宫的正殿。

蓬莱阁的天后宫是我国北方最大的天后宫庙宇。

天后在南方称为妈祖,历史上确有其人,姓林,名默。

传说林默出生时,红光满室,异气飘香。

林默生下后,直到满月都不哭不笑,默默无声,于是她的父亲就给她起名“默”。

林默只活到了28岁并且终身未嫁,所以她的雕像用格子格了起来,意味着没出阁。

传说林默二十八岁时候,有一天在海上搭救遇险的船只,不幸被桅杆击中了头部,落水而亡。

后来人们都说:“人行善事,死后为神”,认为她是升天为神了,专门到海上搭救遇险的船只去了。

她死后不久,奉祀她的宫庙就应运而生,皇帝的封号步步升级,元代被封为天妃,康熙、乾隆年间被封为天后。

天后身边站的是四位侍女,东西两侧是八名站官,其中有四位是四海龙王,其余的西边第一个手持印盒是玉印官,掌管官印,相当于现在的办公室主任。

第二位手持环海司命,是为海神娘娘发布命令的。

东边的两位一个手持圣旨,下达天帝旨意,一个手持万法归宗,如果海中的鱼鳖虾蟹兴风作浪,他都记到这上面,属于哪个海的,就交给哪儿海龙王处置。

后殿是天后的卧室,门上的匾额“福赐丹崖”,是我国著名的书法家费新我题写的,意味天后娘娘把福气赐给每一位来到丹崖山上的人。

寝室里有东西两个厢房,因为天后娘娘有个习惯,双日睡东,单日睡西。

各位团友,大家好,今天我要向大家介绍的是蓬莱阁。提起蓬莱阁,人们首先想到的是海市蜃楼。海市,本是一种大气光学折射、反射现象。但在古代,人们无法解释其成因,便生出许多奇妙的幻想和美丽的传说。据说秦始皇东巡来到蓬莱,见到海市,误认为那时海上的三座仙山:蓬莱、方丈、瀛洲。于是派方士徐福带三千童男童女入海求仙,寻访长生不老药。以后的多位封建帝王也曾登临眺望过神山。汉武帝多次寻求蓬莱仙境不得,只好将丹崖山叫做蓬莱,聊以自-慰。这也是蓬莱名称的由来。当然,海市的神秘、朦胧、飘渺,也确如仙境一般。历代文人更是把海市渲染得异常神奇。同时八仙过海的传说也为它抹上一层仙气。传说八仙去给王母娘娘拜寿途中,在蓬莱阁上喝醉了酒,为显示自己的本领,相约都不乘船,而以自己的法器做渡海工具。铁拐李乘葫芦,汉钟离坐扇子,张果老坐纸驴,吕洞宾踏宝剑,曹国舅站云板,韩湘子乘洞箫,何仙姑坐荷花,蓝采和则坐在花篮中,飘洋过海。“八仙过海,各显其能”的典故即源于此。在山脚下,还有八仙出海时留下的脚樱这些文章和故事的流传,使蓬莱阁“人间仙境”的美名到处流传。古往今来,蓬莱仙境引起人们无限的憧憬和幻想。今天我们就去仙境看一看吧。

蓬莱阁建筑面积为32800平方米,分布在丹崖山上。阁建于北宋嘉祐6年(1061年),当时的郡守朱处约看到这里山势雄伟,风光秀丽,便修建高阁以供游览。至今已有900多年历史了。明万历17年(1589年),山东巡抚李戴又在附近增修了一批建筑物,统称为蓬莱阁。清朝嘉庆24年(1819年),再一次扩建,形成现有规模。解放后,经过多次修缮,古老的建筑既保持了原有的风韵又焕发了盎然生机。整个建筑以高阁为主,从山巅到山脚分中东西三个院落,上中下三个层次,依山构成。主要有蓬莱阁、三清殿、吕祖殿、天后宫、弥陀寺等六组建筑组成。100多间楼阁殿宇,参差错落。

现在我们来到的是天后宫,其中供奉的是海神娘娘。海神娘娘原名叫林默,是福建莆田湄州人,当地人称她“妈祖”,因而天后宫又叫妈祖庙。林默生于北宋960年3月23日,死于987年9月9日,终身未嫁。她经常在海上解救遇害船只,因而极受渔民爱戴。她自幼喜欢佛法,并得高人指点,据说极通灵性。有关她的传说很多,说她出生之日,屋内红光满堂,香气四溢,而且到满月都未有哭声,所以起名为默。她16岁时村中闹瘟疫,而她算出病源在井中,后来人们果然在井中发现病死的老鼠。更为神奇的是说有一次她父兄出海打鱼,而她在家中织布时突然神情大变,似昏睡过去。醒来后告诉她母亲说父兄在海上遇险,哥哥已死,父亲无恙。果然不久其父归来,说海难中似乎有神仙相救才得以脱险。第二天,林默竟然在茫茫大海中找到哥哥的尸体。在她27岁那年的九月初九,她一人登上湄州的最高峰,突然仙乐齐鸣,彩云飞舞,人就登天而去。

林默死后,历代疆吏大臣说她能降魔伏妖,破敌免灾,并能在海上狂风中为渔船指引方向,法力无边,请皇帝对她进行加封。在这种神化之下,祭祀她的庙宇越来越多,使之成为海上渔民的保护神。历代君王为了巩固海防,对她的封号也步步升级,直封到天后。

蓬莱天后宫是我国北方最大的天后庙宇之一。大家看在天后塑像旁边作陪神的站官中竟然有四海龙王,这是十分少见的。究其原因,据说北宋以前海神是四海龙王,但因为他们长的丑陋,又喜怒无常,渔人都不喜欢他们。北宋宣和4年(1122年)皇帝派大臣出使高丽,在海上遇到大风,危难之中救他们的是一位女神而非龙王,因而回朝时奏明皇上,首次加封女神为“顺济夫人”,慢慢取代了龙王的地位。后来随历代加封,女神的管辖范围越来越大,四海龙王都要听她调遣,在民间还有天妃降伏东海龙王的故事,再加上民间八仙的传说中龙王也是以反面角色出现的,于是四海龙王在蓬莱便成了站官的。现在,渔民对天后仍然十分敬仰,因而天后宫香火一直十分旺盛。

现在大家看到的这座高阁就是蓬莱阁了。它高踞丹崖山顶,丹崖山虽不高,但面临大海,海阔烘托出山的气势,使蓬莱阁气势恢宏。其他建筑围绕着它,又成众星捧月之势,使它分外壮观。它与黄鹤楼、岳阳楼、滕王阁并称为全国四大名楼。

蓬莱阁是一座双层木结构阁楼建筑,有鲜明的中国古典建筑艺术特色。正厅高悬一块金字牌匾,上有清代著名书法家铁保手书的“蓬莱阁”三个雄浑大字,笔力遒劲,阁上原有“九万青天登梯得路,三千碧海破浪乘风”楹联,道尽高阁的气势。阁上有一圈明廊,大家可以凭栏远眺,时有海雾飘来,使人有腾云驾雾,超凡出世的感觉。这便是蓬莱十大仙景之一的“仙阁凌空”。《老残游记》第一回中就生动描写了这一景观:“这阁造得画栋飞云,珠帘卷雨,十分壮丽。西边看城中人家,烟雨万户;东面看海上波涛,峥嵘万里。”阁底有十六根大红楹柱环列,显得气势非凡。阁内设置精致,布满宋、明、清三朝的石刻碑文。东西两壁悬挂着董必武和叶剑英元帅的题诗,阁后壁嵌有“碧海清风”、“海不扬波”、“环海境清”大型题字刻石三方,十分珍贵,更为古阁增添了光彩。

蓬莱阁后有一避风亭,它比蓬莱阁建造稍晚,是明代正德8年由知府严泰增建的。此亭建造角度十分科学,既烘托了主阁,又别有情趣。避风亭坐南朝北,既高又面向大海,然而任凭室外狂风大作,亭内门户大开,却静谧无风。在亭内擦一根火柴,火焰会纹丝不动。这时你如取一张纸条,在护墙外侧一撒手,纸条会盘旋而上,越亭而过,不能不令人叫绝

闻名天下的蓬莱阁自建成雏形后,历代文人骚客慕名而来者甚多,置此佳景胜地,他们往往雅兴大发,挥书泼墨。

在天后宫前院的戏楼两侧各有红褐色巨石三尊,两两相对,像三台星座。为此清代大学者阮元命名此石为三台石,刻石嵌于天后宫前殿外壁上。阮元在清代官至湖广、云南总督,精于书法,善于雕刻金石,墨迹传世不多,此隶书刻石极为珍贵。

天后宫前院弯处,有一块草书体“寿”字碑特别引人注目,这个“寿”字是五代时道人陈抟老祖写的,看起来遒劲有力,潇洒飘逸。它的另外特别处在于草写的“寿”字竟是由“富、费、林”三字组成。据说含有“植好林木,富足长寿”的意思。

在蓬莱阁主阁的阁底正门悬挂的横匾“蓬莱阁”,是清代书法家铁保的手迹。字写得雄浑有力,刚健俊朗。主阁后面间隔不远避风亭和卧碑亭内,也各有珍贵的书法刻石。避风亭内有刻石25方,其中9方是曾任登州军事首脑袁可力的《观海市》诗,字是明朝书法家董其昌写的,一代石刻高手为其刻石。因此,这九方石刻确为珠联璧合之作,堪称三绝。卧碑亭里的横卧石碑则因留有宋代大文豪苏东坡的手迹而弥足珍贵,卧碑正面刻的行草《题吴道子画》,背面刻的是苏东坡的正楷《登州海市》。

众多名人的墨宝中,有两处别有典故。一处是蓬莱阁主阁后壁上的“海不扬波”,细看这气势雄伟的字体,你会察知那“不”字明显是后来补上的。这是怎么回事?据介绍,1840年鸦片战争爆发后,山东巡抚托浑布兼办海防。当有一天他登上蓬莱阁时,望着广阔无际的大海,触景生情,挥笔写下了“海不扬波”四个字,表达了他希望万里海疆平安无事的心情。哪知道,1894年,甲午战争爆发了,战火蔓延至蓬莱。1895年1月18日,日舰炮击蓬莱,一发炮弹(碰巧是哑弹)击中了“不”字,于是“海不扬波”成了“海扬波”。这启发人们没有富强的国家和强大的海防,海不扬波的愿望始终是个幻想。

另一处是蓬莱阁东侧的“碧海丹心”石刻,这是著名爱国将领冯玉祥的手迹。冯将军当年为何要写这几个字呢?据说,1939年5月,正值抗日战争最为艰苦的时候,冯玉祥将军与国民党元老李烈钧等人同游蓬莱。忧于时局的李先生对冯将军说:“挽救民族危亡的重任寄希望于你们身上了。”冯将军对蒋介石当局明抗日、暗卖国的做法不满,但又不能明说,只得苦笑。之后,李烈钧先生挥毫写下对联:“攻挫若石,同具丹心扶社稷;江山如画,全凭赤手挽乾坤。”并让冯玉祥将军题横幅。冯玉祥略一思索,提笔写下了遒劲有力的“碧海丹心”四个大字,抒发了他忠心报国的情怀。后人感念他的爱国豪情,便把“碧海丹心”单独刻石存留。

东坡先生于1805年曾到登州(今蓬莱)任知府,只不过时间非常短,10月15日到任,10月20日便被调回京城,总共只干了5天登州知府。但就是在这短短的5天时间里,他深入民间,体察民情,发现当时因新法中的盐法禁止百姓卖盐,所以导致不少原靠卖盐为生的百姓生活困苦。为此,苏东坡写了《讫罢登莱榷盐状》,列举了许多事实,陈述了得失利弊,终使皇帝允许百姓随便买卖食盐,就市论价,官府只收取一定的税金。

为了纪念他为民请命的功德,当地百姓集资兴建了苏公祠。后人有感而发,留下了“五日知州府,千年苏公祠”的诗句。这启迪世上的当权者,只有为民办好事、办实事,才能流芳百世。

大家好!在开封众多的文物古迹当中,铁塔是开封的标志性建筑之一,成了游客必到之地,就像人们所说的:“来开封不登铁塔,等于没来过开封”。

铁塔位于开封城内东北隅铁塔风景区内,秀丽挺拔,雄居中原,以它精湛绝妙的建筑艺术和雄伟秀丽的修长身姿而驰名中外,被人们誉为“天下第一塔”。

铁塔建于北宋皇佑元年,就是公元1049年,因当年建在开宝寺内,称开宝寺塔。

又因其外表全以褐色琉璃砖镶嵌,远看近似铁色,加之本身坚固异常,犹如铁铸,故从元代起民间称之为“铁塔”。

据史料记载,铁塔前身是一座木塔,系我国北宋时期着名建筑学家喻浩为供佛祖释迦牟尼佛舍利而建造的。

据说,他经过八年的构想设计和建造,终于在公元989年把这座佛塔建成。

木塔共八角十三层,高120米,上安千佛万菩萨,塔下作地宫,供奉佛祖的舍利子,造工精细,木塔在京城诸塔中最高,“其土木之宏伟,金碧之炳耀,自佛法入中国,未之有也。

”因此该塔被称为“天下之冠”。

初建成的塔向西北倾斜,有人问喻浩缘由,他说京师无山,又多西北风,离此地不远又有大河流过,用不到百年的时间,塔受风力作用和河水浸岸的影响,就自然会直过来了,并预言此塔可存在七百年不会倒塌。

但令人遗憾的是,这个木塔在宋仁宗庆历四年,就是公元1044年夏天,便被雷火所焚,仅存在五十多年。

到了皇佑元年,宋仁宗下诏在距此塔不远的夷山上,仿照木塔的样式建造了我们今天所看到这座铁色琉璃砖塔。

铁塔是因其卓绝的建筑艺术闻名遐迩的。

铁塔现高55.88米,平面作八角形,十三层楼阁式,底层每面阔4米多,向上逐层递减,层层开设明窗,一层向北,二层向南,三层向西,四层向东,以此类推,其余皆为盲窗。

设计明窗,除有采光、通风、了望之用,还能减缓强风对塔身的冲击力。

明代嘉靖、万历年间,又在塔心柱正对明窗之处,镶嵌了琉璃佛砖,保护塔心柱免受风力侵蚀。

远看近观,铁塔仿佛是一座木塔,玲珑剔透。

原来设计师在设计建造铁塔时,采用仿木结构,它以许多形状大小各异的“结构砖”相组合。

这些结构砖,就像经过斧凿的木料一样,有榫、有眼,组装起来,严密合缝。

塔身的檐、椽、瓦等,也俱为琉璃砖所成。

砖型的规格化是我国佛塔建筑的一大进步,可以砌出各种仿木结构,这些特点使铁塔在我国佛教建筑史上占有重要地位。

粗壮的塔心柱是支撑塔壁,抵御外力的核心部分。

各种不同用途的外壁砖瓦构件通过登道与塔心柱紧密衔接,异常坚牢,浑然一体,具有很强的抗震能力。

九百多年来,铁塔历经地震、暴风水患,特别是1938年5月,日军用大-炮对铁塔进行轰炸,北面从第四层至第十三层的各级檐角、塔壁遭受到不同程度的毁坏,但仍然屹立。

对此,民间老人们解释说:铁塔作为一座佛塔,经历如此多的灾难而不倒塌,是受佛祖保佑的结果。

佛教相信三世轮回,所以当地信佛的老人常告诉游客,如果你围绕铁塔左绕三圈,右绕三圈,佛祖将保佑你一生平安。

铁塔外壁镶嵌的花纹砖有五十余种,花纹图案包括飞天、降龙、麒麟、坐佛、玉佛、菩萨、狮子、伎乐、花卉等,造型优美,精妙生动,具有鲜明的宋代艺术风格。

铁塔原建于夷山之上,后来由于黄河泥沙沉积,将夷山及塔基淤没。

据《如梦录》载,基座辟有南北二门,向南一门匾曰:“天下第一塔”。

基座下有一八棱方池;北面有小桥跨池而过,由小桥进北门入塔。

由此可以想见,当年铁塔如同一株破水而出的芙蓉,亭亭玉立,更使塔身外观出落得挺拔灵秀,瑞丽舒展。

铁塔内遏砖砌登道,绕塔心柱盘旋而上,历一百六十八层台阶可至塔顶。

登到第五层,可以看到城内景色;登到第七层,可以看到城外原野;登到第九层,可以看到浩瀚奔腾的黄河,领略到黄河号称“天河”的含义;登到第十二层,则祥云缠绕,云雾扑面,似入太空幻景。

此即着名的古开封汴京八景之一的“铁塔行云”。

诗曰:“浮图千尺十三层,高插云霄客倦登。

润彩氤氲疑锦绣,行人迢递见觚棱。

半空铁马风摇铎,万朵莲花夜放灯。

我昔凭高穿七级,此身烟际欲飞腾。

”每当风度云穿时,环挂在塔身檐下的每层八个共一百零四个铁铃悠然而动,叮当作响,更让人心旷神怡、留连往返。

细心的游客在欣赏这座卓绝的建筑艺术时,总能惊奇地发现眼前的铁塔是座斜塔,已向东南方向倾斜。

看来,喻浩先生当年的担心并非多余!

在铁塔西百米处,是一座重檐伟阁、漆栋画梁的大殿,名叫“接引殿”。

周围由二十四根大柱支撑,青石栏杆。

望柱上雕刻有形态各异的九十六只小狮子。

殿内矗立着一尊高大慈悲的站佛,他就是西方极乐世界的教主阿弥陀佛,俗称接引佛。

这尊高大的接引佛像,是宋元时期用全铜铸造的,身高5.4米,重12吨,赤足站立,胸前铸有象征吉祥的万字符号。

穿有山水云朵花纹的袈裟法衣。

左手禅定在胸,右手下垂指地,表示能满足众生的愿望,接引众生到达西方净土的极乐世界。

最上方有一“光明无量”的匾额。

来到龙虎峡,我们首先看到的是峡谷上方这一面面迎风招展的彩旗,不过这是洞内钟乳石的一种,叫石旗,看来诸位是本次旅游最尊贵的一批游客,不然,这里怎么打出彩旗热烈欢迎大家呢?它是如何形成的呢?它是含碳酸氢钙的液体在流动时由于风的作用,流动具有一定方向性,而形成了石旗。

(玉米王)您看这个倒垂着的玉米,可够大的,堪称为玉米王啦!

各位游客朋友请注意,这儿有块绊脚石,小心别让它绊着。这个石笋倒是挺有观赏价值,可它长得不是地方,成了绊脚石。

(蘑菇云)嚯!这个石笋还真像原子弹爆炸后冒出的蘑菇云。经地质专家用铀系法测定,这朵蘑菇云已经冒了十一万年了。嗬!时间可够长的。

(东海三仙岛)大家可能知道一个传说,当年徐福受秦始皇派遣,带领童男童女各五百人到东海三仙岛寻找采集长生不老之药。这三仙岛就是蓬莱、方丈和瀛州。而大峡谷的这三仙岛是微缩了的。不过,它也有段动人的故事哟。如果大家想听,等下次再来我给您讲。

(珠帘壁合),您看这珠帘壁合,巧妙借用原来的成语,再与这钟乳石的奇妙形态有机结合,收到了借谐音,达实意的效果。不过,要是真能撩起珠帘,进到里面,两边的石壁合拢起来,可就变成神仙出不来了。

(重岩摩天)大家知道,许多峡谷石壁上都有摩崖石刻。这“重岩摩天”四个粗犷有力的大字就是对地下大峡谷宏大气势的赞颂之词。哪位擅长书法的游客,如果有兴致,也不妨提笔一试。不过“××到此一游”之类的,我们是不欢迎的。

(黑狐峡)这段峡谷看来常有黑色的狐狸出没,不然怎么取名黑狐峡呢?

(通天峡)游客朋友,请往左边看,这就是通天峡,长一百零七米。据说,那里面还有天梯呢!哪位勇敢者有机会可去一试,说不定还能创一项世界吉尼斯纪录呢?

(神剑)这把神剑是大峡谷的镇洞之宝。传说十二峡就是它劈出来的。它是镇洞之宝,有了它,我们的旅行就更加安全了。

说到这里,有的游客可能要问了,这峡谷内常年恒温,在17度左右,而且有水,具备一定湿度,有没有动物生长呢?和洞外世界一样,洞穴里也有形形色色的生物,从肉眼看不见的细菌,到大型的哺乳动物,在世界各地的洞穴里,已经相继发现。一位叫西纳的外国专家把洞穴生物划分为三类,一类是定居洞穴生物,在形态上和生理上都适于洞穴生活,并能传种接代。例如洞螈和盲鱼等。另一类是喜好洞穴的生物,就是以洞为家,以洞外为活动场所,例如蝙蝠、洞穴金丝燕等,就是这类动物。它们白天呆在洞里,夜间出来找食吃。第三类是暂时进洞的生物,就是因气候变化或者敌害而暂时躲藏在洞里的。例如蛙类或者某些昆虫,它们一旦情况有变,就又回到洞外。至于我们这溶洞里到底存活着什么生物,我告诉您,这里面有蝙蝠,偶尔还可能见到青蛙。

(望海石)您看这望海石,其块头之大,真能与海边的许多望海石一比高低。不过在洞里都能望到大海,说不定这望海石有什么特异功能吧。

(云南石林)哎,你们看,去南石林怎么搬到这里了?其实也不用大惊小怪,云南昆明世博园里不是也有座山东的泰山吗?

(九天瀑)现在我们已经到了大峡谷十二瀑之一的九天瀑,诗仙李白为庐山九叠泉瀑布题诗赞美道:“日照香炉生紫烟,遥看瀑布挂前川,飞流直下三千尺,疑是银河落九天”。站在此地,观九天瀑飞流直下,如身临其境,往往禁不往使人引发许多联想和感慨。在此,我也赋拙诗一首,赞美我们的九天瀑:“雾罩峡谷生紫烟,近观雨幕挂前川,水花溅起三千尺,恰似山洪落洞天”,怎么样?献丑啦!

(一线天)请大家抬头看看,洞顶上这道长长的峡隙,叫一线天,在洞内还有多处,这里最为典型。这也是地下大峡谷内的一大地貌特征。如果大家在武夷山和泰山见过陆地上的一线天,在这峡谷中又见了溶洞内的一线天,那就该知足了。好,我忽然诗兴大发,再为一线天作一首献丑小诗:“古今中外‘一线天’,只知此景在露天,惟有地下大峡谷,‘一线天’上不见天”。在这里您也肯定会初步领略到了地下大峡谷的气势和宏伟,这洞顶的裂隙同样形成于五亿年前的古生代。

(大龙虾)你们看右边石壁上那只头朝上,尾朝下的大龙虾,个头儿倒蛮大的。谁有本事把它捉住带回去,今儿个大家游览完大峡谷,餐桌上将会多了一道上档次的美味佳肴。

(青龙)大家看这条硕大的青龙,昂首挺身,不知已在此盘踞多少年了。这预示着我们将要进入青龙峡。

(白虎峡)[李逵打虎]游客朋友请看,这组钟乳石很像《水浒传》中李逵打虎的情景,所以人们把这叫做“李逵打虎”。据书中说,憨直忠厚又孝顺的李逵就是我们沂水人,家住百丈村董店东,回家接老母上梁山。不料走到沂岭时老母被四只老虎所吃。李逵悲愤之极,一气之下,将四虎全窝杀尽。不过,现在老虎伤人判不了罪,人杀老虎可要犯法的哟。

the mosque is a major spot for religious activities of over 60.000 moslems in xi’an, likewise, an important cultural relic protected by the provincial people’s government. unlike the arabic mosques, with splendid domes, the minarets reaching into the clouds, the coulourful engraved sketches with dazzling patterns, the mosque here in xi’an possesses much chinese traditional touch in both its design and artistic outlook; besides the style peculiar to islamic mosques, this mosque also holds characteristics of chinese pavilions with painted beams and engraved ridgepoles.

however, any further discussion about the mosque will be futile unless anything of the introduction of islam into china is brought up.

islam as a religious order was founded in the early period of the 7th century a.d. and was introduced to china in the mid-600s. at that time, arabian merchants and travelers came to the northwest of china by way of persia and afghanistan and thus established diplomatic, trade, and military contacts with china. in the meantime, another route saw a batch of sea voyagers through bangladesh bay and the malacca strait to china’s guangzhou, quanzhou, huangzhou, yangzhou and other cities where many of them settled down and married the local women who later gave birth to babies who then became moslems.

however, massive immigration of the moslems to china did not take place until as late as the early period of the 13th century, when genghis khan, as a result of his expedition against the west, had conquered vast expanses of land stretching from central asia to eastern europe, including the north of iran. many of the moslems in the conquered areas were thus forced to enlist and later settled in china.

among the enlisted many were soldiers, and some were smiths and officials who were called the hui people in the history books on the yuan dynasty. the hui people later followed kublai khan down to the south, helping him unifying china and then establish the yuan dynasty. in the wake of the conquest, islam spread all over china and mosques began to appear everywhere. in the yuan dynasty, many moslems held positions both in the military and civilian organs of the country. and a lot of the moslems took part in zhu yuanzhang’s uprising in the early 14th century and made great contributions to the founding of the ming dynasty. therefore, all the emperors of the dynasty issued mandates to protect islam, and to set up mosques in praise of the moslems for their feats. in the early 16th century, islam predominated qinghai on the minority nationalities including the huis, the uygurs, the kazaks, the kirgizes, the tajiks, the tartars, the ozbeks, the dong xiangs, the salars and the bonans. the moslems in xi’an are mainly the huis, being a small portion out of the ten million in china.

the mosque at hua jue lane is the largest in xi’an, and at the same time, it is also one of the earliest built on a comparatively large scale, and well preserved mosques in china.

according to “the stele on the building of the mosque”, the mosque is said to be built in the tang dynasty. however, the architectural style of the mosque suggests a possible building dating back to the ming dynasty. the four courtyards of the mosque cover an area of more than 12,000 square meters, out of which about 4,000 are occupied by various structures. the still intact wooden front memorial gateway of the front yard, built at the turn of the 17th century, with glazed tiles on the top, spectacular corners and upturned eaves, is about 9 metres high, and has a history of about 360 years. the stone memorial gateway in the center of the second courtyard is flanked with a tail stele on either side with dragons carved on each, recording the repair work ever since the building of the mosque. on the back of one of the steles are engraved characters by the master calligrapher mi fu, “may buddhism fill the universe”, on the other, “royal -bestowed”by dong qichang, another master of the same art of the ming dynasty. they are treasures in chinese calligraphy. at the entrance of the third courtyard is an imperial built hall, where a “month tablet”, showing the calculation of the hui calendars in arabic, is stored. it was compiled by a man in charge of the mosque called xiao mining in the early period of the qing dynasty. a three –storeyed octagonal wooden structure called “retrospection tower”also stands in the center of the courtyard, which has the same function as the minaret in islamic temples in arabic countries, and which is a place from where orders were sent to call the moslems to come to worship. respectively, on the south and north wings of the tower, are a reception chamber and a scripture chamber, both elegantly laid out. the five wooden houses, which are called “water houses”in the southwest section of the mosque are the place where the believers bathe themselves before they attend their services. and in side the fourth courtyard there is a structure called “the pavilion of phoenix”, a place where the worshipers used to wait for the services. the pavilion, in fact, is a compound structure of three small buildings. the six-gabled structure of the central part, adjoining the two three-gabled buildings on each side looks very much like a flying phoenix, and hence its name. just at the back of the pavilion, there is a fishpond, beyond which is a platform occupying an area as large as 700 m2. across both ends of the platform stands the 1,300 square metered service hall, holding over a thousand worshipers at once. there are over six hundred sunk panels well as the sunk panels, are decorated with patterns of painted trailing plants and arabic letterings. the imam leads his group of worshipers, while facing in the direction of mecca, to chant in koran and to pay their religious homage.

the moslems in china share very much the same customs with their brothers and sisters elsewhere in the world. they worship five times a day: at dawn, at noon, in the afternoon, at dusk, and at night. female worshipers attend their services in a separated place from their brothers, usually at home. moslems pay special attention to their health and see that they always wear clean clothes. they are teetotalers not only of wine, but also of pork and animal blood for in koran pigs have been mentioned four times as being “unclean”. according to koran, a man can have four wives and women should wear veils when they go out. however, except a few places in xinjiang, the chinese practise monogamy and women are veiless when they go out. upon his death, a moslem has to be “thoroughly cleaned”(thoroughly bathed), has to be put on “ke fan”(to be shrouded with a piece of white cloth) and has to be buried coffinless in the ground, with an imam reciting scriptures at the funeral.

the chinese constitution promulgates that freedom of religion of each citizen and freedom of preserving or reforming local customs for every nationality are permitted. and of course, the moslems in china enjoy equal rights with peoples of other nationalities and their religious beliefs and customs are respected everywhere in the country.

emperor qin shihuang’s mausoleum and the terra-cotta warriors and horses museum

emperor qin shihuang (259-210b.c.) had ying as his surname and zheng as his given name. he name to the throne of the qin at age 13, and took the helm of the state at age of 22. by 221 b.c., he had annexed the six rival principalities of qi, chu, yan, han, zhao and wei, and established the first feudal empire in china’s history.

in the year 221 b.c., when he unified the whole country, ying zheng styled himself emperor. he named himself shihuang di, the first emperor in the hope that his later generations be the second, the third even the one hundredth and thousandth emperors in proper order to carry on the hereditary system. since then, the supreme feudal rulers of china’s dynasties had continued to call themselves huang di, the emperor.

after he had annexed the other six states, emperor qin shihuang abolished the enfeoffment system and adopted the prefecture and county system. he standardized legal codes, written language, track, currencies, weights and measures. to protect against harassment by the hun aristocrats. emperor qin shihuang ordered the great wall be built. all these measures played an active role in eliminating the cause of the state of separation and division and strengthening the unification of the whole country as well as promotion the development of economy and culture. they had a great and deep influence upon china’s 2,000 year old feudal society.

emperor qin shihuang ordered the books of various schools burned except those of the qin dynasty’s history and culture, divination and medicines in an attempt to push his feudal autocracy in the ideological field. as a result, china’s ancient classics had been devastated and destroy. moreover, he once ordered 460 scholars be buried alive. those events were later called in history“the burning of books and the burying of confucian scholars.”

emperor qin shihuang,for his own pleasure, conscribed several hundred thousand convicts and went in for large-scale construction and had over seven hundred palaces built in the guanzhong plain. these palaces stretched several hundred li and he sought pleasure from one palace to the other. often nobody knew where he ranging treasures inside the tomb, were enclosed alive.

emperor qin shihuang’s mausoleum has not yet been excavated. what looks like inside could noly be known when it is opened. however, the three pits of the terra-cotta warriot excavated outside the east gate of the outer enclosure of the necropolis can make one imagine how magnificent and luxurious the structure of emperor qin shihuang’s mausoleum was.

no.1 pit was stumbled upon in march 1974 when villagers of xiyang village of yanzhai township, lintong county, sank a well 1.5km east of the mausoleum. in 1976, no.2 and 3 pits were found 20m north of no.1 pit respectively after the drilling survey. the terra-cotta warriors and horses are arrayed according to the qin dynasty battle formation, symbolizing the troops keeping vigil beside the mausoleum. this discovery aroused much interest both at home and abroad. in 1975, a museum, housing the site of no.1 and covering an area of 16,300 square meters was built with the permission of the state council. the museum was formally opened to public on oct.1, the national day, 1979.

no.1 pit is 230 meters long from east to west, 62m wide from north to south and 5m deep , covering a total area of 14,260 square meters. it is an earth-and-wood structure in the shape of a tunnel. there are five sloping entrances on the eastern and western sides of the pit respectively. the pit is divided into eleven corridors by ten earthen partition walls, and the floors are paved with bricks. thick rafters were placed onto the walls (but now one can only see their remains), which were covered with mats and then fine soil and earth. the battle formation of the qin dynasty, facing east. in the east end are arrayed three lines of terra-cotta warriors, 70 pieces in each, totaling 210 pieces. they are supposed to be the van of the formation. immediately behind them are 38 columns of infantrymen alternating with war chariots in the corridors, each being 180m long. they are probably the main body of the formation. there is one line of warriors in the left, right and west ends respectively, facing outwards. they are probably the flanks and the rear. there are altogether 27 trial trench, it is assumed that more than 6,000 clay warriors and horses could be unearthed from no.1 pit.

no.2 pit sis about half the size of no.1 pit, covering about 6,000 square meters trail diggings show this is a composite formation of infantry, cavalry and chariot soldiers, from which roughly over 1,000 clay warriors, and 500 chariots and saddled horses could be unearthed. the 2,000-year-old wooden chariots are already rotten. but their shafts, cross yokes, and wheels, etc. left clear impressions on the earth bed. the copper parts of the chariots still remain. each chariot is pulled by four horses which are one and half meters high and two metres long. according to textual research, these clay horses were sculptures after the breed in the area of hexi corridor. the horses for the cavalrymen were already saddled, but with no stirups.

no.3 pit covers an area of 520m2 with only four horses, one chariot and 68 warriors, supposed to be the command post of the battle formation. now, no.2 and 3 pits have been refilled, but visitors can see some clay figures and weapons displayed in the exhibition halls in the museum that had been unearthed from these two pits. the floors of both no.1 and 2 pits were covered with a layer of silt of 15 to 20cm thick. in these pits, one can see traces of burnt beams everywhere, some relics which were mostly broken. analysis shows that the pits were burned down by xiang yu, leader of a peasant army. all of the clay warriors in the three pits held real weapons in their hands and face east, showing emperor qin shihuang’s strong determination of wiping out the six states and unifying the whole country.

the height of the terra-cotta warriors varies from 1.78m, the shortest, to 1.97m, the tallest. they look healthy and strong and have different facial expressions. probably they were sculpted by craftsmen according to real soldiers of the qin dynasy. they organically combined the skills of round engraving, bas-relief and linear engraving, and utilized the six traditional folk crafts of sculpturing, such as hand-moulding, sticking, cutting, painting and so on. the clay models were then put in kilns, baked and colour-painted. as the terra-cotta figures have beeb burnt and have gone through the natural process of decay, we can’t see their original gorgeous colours. however, most of the terra-cotta figures bear the trace of the original colours, and few of them are still as bright as new. they are found to be painted by mineral dyestuffs of vermilion, bright red, pink dark green, powder green, purple, blue, orange, black and white colours.

thousands of real weapons were unearthed from these terra-cotta army pits, including broad knives, swords, spears, dagger-axes, halberds, bows, crossbows and arrowheads. these weapons were exquisitely made. some of theme are still very sharp, analyses show that they are made of alloys of copper and tin, containing more than ten kinds of other metals. since their surfaces were treated with chromium, they are as bright as new, though buried underground for more than 2,000 years. this indicates that qin dynasty’s metallurgical technology and weapon-manufacturing technique already reached quite a high level.

in december 1980, two teams of large painted bronze chariots and horses were unearthed 20 metres west of the mound of emperor qin shihuang’s mausoleum. these single shaft four-horse chariots each comprises 3,462 spare parts, and has a body with two compartments, one behind the other, and an elliptical umbrella like canopy. the four horses harnessed to the chariot are 65-67 centimeters tall. the restored bronze chariots and horses are exact imitations of true chariot, horse and driver in half life-size.

the chariots and horses are decorated with coloured drawings against white background. they have been fitted with more than 1,500 piecese of gold and silvers and decorations, looking luxurious, splendid and graceful. probably they were meant for the use of emperor qin shihuang’s soul to go on inspection. the bronze chariots and horses were made by lost wax casting, which shows a high level of technology. for instance, the tortoise-shell-like canopy is about 4mm thick, and the window is only 1mm thick on which are many small holes for ventilation. according to a preliminary study, the technology of manufacturing the bronze chariots and horses has involved casting, welding, reveting, inlaying embedding and chiseling. the excavation of the bronze chariots and horses provides extremely valuable material and data for the textual research of the metallurgical technique, the mechanism of the chariot and technological modeling of the qin dynasty.

no.2 bronze chariot and horses now on display were found broken into 1,555 pieces when excavated. after two-and-half years’ careful and painstaking restoration by archaeologists and various specialists, they were formally exhibited in the museum on october 1, 1983. no.1 bronze chariot hand horses are on display from 1988.

真佛山寺庙群最初是关帝庙。清朝嘉庆十五年,也就是1820_年,僧人蒋德化仿照佛寺对关帝庙进行了大规模的改造,取名为“德化寺”。十五年后的道光六年,达州知府孙益廷捐资扩建德化寺并亲自题名“真佛山”。因为真佛山儒释道三教合一,因而有三教圣地的美誉。说到这真佛山的得名啊,还有一个小故事。道光年间的达州知府孙益廷年过半百而膝下无子,特意上山求助于德化寺的和尚,法师赠给知府夫人一个桃子,不久,夫人就喜得贵子,孙知府便深信这是佛祖显灵,称颂德化寺的和尚是尊“真佛”,并且大笔一挥题名“真佛山”。后人评价真佛山是一座儒释道三教融合的圣地,尤其是德化寺的三大殿,是目前川东北保存最完整、规模最大的建筑群,堪称建筑艺术宝库。

看过了前面的寺门、玉皇殿,现在就到了天子殿。既然来到天子殿,拜过了十殿阎王,那我就顺便来给大家讲一讲咱们中国传统文化中的阎罗王。远古时代,先民们对于梦和死亡难以理解,于是就产生了对鬼神的崇拜,他们认为生命是由魂魄主宰的,古人有云,“魄者,心识,有灵用而无行者;魄者,有形体而为心识之依处者”大体意思就是,魂是人的精神、魄呢就差不多相当于人的肉体。人死之后,魄随着肉体消亡了,但魂就好比人睡着了之后做梦一样飘飘忽忽地就离开了肉体,成为了鬼魂。人们相信,鬼魂在阴间所得到的好坏对待是由当初在人间的德行表现所决定的。再说阎罗王,阎罗王本来是古代印度神话中管理阴间的王,佛教把他发展成了地狱的主人。阎罗王所掌管的就是人们非常熟悉的十八层地狱。按照佛经的说法,在人间作恶多端、罪孽深重的人死后都要进十八层地域受尽无限的刑罚痛苦。这本来是佛教为了宣传“因果报应”的理论编造的,但它却在民间得到了广泛的信仰。咱们天子殿这里供奉的十殿阎君就是地狱的统治者。十殿阎君要解决的问题主要在于人死后所面临的审判问题。按照要求,所有人在世间的行为,都要在冥冥地府中得到一次严格公正的裁决。善者就能投生净土,作恶的就要打入地狱受尽磨难。在十殿冥府中,亡灵每七天过一个殿,受一位阎君的审判。当然了,身为阴曹地府的主宰,阎罗王不能什么事都是自己来,于是就有了他手下的判官(手势)和小鬼。大家看这里,这就是牛头马面,负责地狱的巡逻和缉拿逃跑的罪人。这尊是鬼夜叉,负责在地狱中施行刑罚。这两位就是黑白无常,负责到人间索命勾魂。这样呢,一个由阎罗王、判官、小鬼、牛头马面、鬼夜叉、黑白无常等构成的地狱任务系统就出来了。

话说回来啊,地狱还有阎王小鬼这些说法是人类想象出来的,并没有科学依据。那咱们天子殿内这么多的塑像,而且一尊尊都塑造的面目狰狞。其实它的作用就是提醒大家善有善报,恶有恶报,劝大家积极行善,不做恶事。

吃完饭后,我迫不急待的去划竹筏,我和爸爸妈妈乘一个竹筏,起初我们都有点害怕,这竹筏没边没沿儿夫在水面上,万一没站稳掉下水了就...呵呵。最后我们还是上去了。妈妈抢过竹竿来,她居然拿着竹竿划水?hoho?,那猪年马月能划到对岸上啊?!爸爸接过竹竿,将竹竿插向水底,一使劲,竹筏离了岸。就这样爸爸站在竹筏上左一下,右一下,竹筏飞快的向前驶去,我学着爸爸样子一下一下地划着,还情不自禁地唱起:“小小竹排江中游…….”划完竹筏后,我又去玩水晶球,钻进水晶球我像喝醉似的,东倒西歪。真好玩啊!

时间过的很快,我们结束了愉快的旅游,踏上了回家的旅程。这一天我感到很高兴,即吃上了美味的 农家饭,又划了竹筏,还学会了捞虹鳟鱼。生活真是美好啊!

杜鹃花自四月初开始绽放,四月十日至二十日前后是盛花期,此时的山谷中水库澄碧,小溪淙淙,禽鸟鸣啭,游人穿引在树林,徜徉在小溪旁、花丛中,顿感春的律动、春的意境,一种回归大自然的全新感觉油然而生。较令游人心醉的是那满山遍野的杜鹃花,但见千亩花海,姹紫嫣红,极为秀丽。登上主峰大寨顶,一派春光尽收眼底。观海佳地,莫过于第二高峰——山南峰,峰高330米,形状如楼,故称“望海楼”,在此极目远望,东、西两面海滨风光尽收眼底。

大珠山的古文物遗迹,尤以石窟较为珍贵,多为隋唐时代遗存,均属小型石窟,俗称“石屋子”,系在高大岩石上凿成,内有佛像浮雕等。相传大珠山共有石窟99座,但大部分已毁,保存完好的现仅有3处。此外,大珠山上还有女儿石、者鹰石、鳖儿石、和尚石、八戒石等自然景观,形象生动逼真,令游人称奇,值得一游。

北大燕园其实是原来燕京大学的校址,但是很多北大学生对此段历史知之甚少,然而最近有很多团体来北大参观,最让人神往的莫过于未名博雅的秀丽景色,如不能让参观者知道关于这个园子的真实历史,实在让人惭愧,谨以此文分享给愿意做导游的学生,希望我们的一言一行都为这个校园增添光彩!

西校门

西校门是北京大学原来的正门。因为是校友1920xx年捐资所建,故也称作校友门。1920xx年3月15日,燕大正式挂匾,同时举办男女两校合并的联欢会,合并仪式由蔡元培主持,校门上燕京大学的牌匾为他所题。

西门华表

这两座华表是圆明园安佑宫中的遗物之一,当年被安放在安佑宫琉璃坊前。在清末民初崇彝的《道咸以来朝野杂记》中有记载曰: “鸿慈永祜,在月地云居之后,循山径入,其中为安佑宫,乾隆七年建,其前琉璃坊三座,左右华表刻云气,甚精巧,民国十四年犹及见之。闻人言:今已为燕京大学所取。” 根据这段记载,这两座华表至迟当建于乾隆七年(1742)。至于如何从圆明园移到燕园,当年的《燕京大学校刊》曾对此有较为详细的记载,称移此华表时,曾“商诸圆明园之主管者,拟将此石柱移归本校保存,并经地方当事人之认可,遂鸠工起运,陆续移来三座…”,“国立北平图书馆落成,商准北平市政府,将存放天安门前之石柱移归该馆,同时函商本校,请将所存之三柱移赠其一,……当即准如所请,函报市政府备案,并声明尚存二柱,仍由本校保存,旋得市政府认可,於是本校行政执行委员会乃决议将此二柱竖立於贝公楼前,以资瞻仰。此项竖立费及配制柱顶之镇物费,为数约一千数百元。” 但是仔细观察一下这对华表,会发现一粗一细,并非一对。原来1920xx年燕京大学建校舍时,只从圆明园运来了三根,第四根却被运到城里,1931年曾横卧在天安门前道南。当北京图书馆建文津街新馆时,欲将燕大多余的一根华表搬走与天安门前的另一根合成一对,不料搬运时阴错阳差,结果燕大和北图的华表皆不成对,成就了这一桩趣事。

贝公楼(Bashford Hall):

燕大的主楼,即现在北大的办公楼,称为贝公楼,是为纪念美以美会会督贝施德(又译贝施福),1920xx年落成时的英文名即为Bashford Hall。燕京大学的前身是美国美以美教会开办的汇文大学。其首任校长李安德是丁韪良的一位密友,当李安德于1893年因病去世以后,包括丁韪良在内的校董事会一致推选贝施福为汇文大学堂的第二任校长,同时选举刘海澜为常务副校长。贝施福当时也是美国俄亥俄州卫斯理大学的校长。虽然他于1920xx年正式来北京传教之前并没有太多的时间来实际主持和过问汇文大学堂的具体事务,但由于他是一位颇负盛名的教育家,同时又具有管理一所美国名牌大学的丰富经验,所以他对于提升汇文大学堂学术和管理水准是起了很大作用的。尤其是自从他亲自来北京主持美以美会的教务活动之后,以及在1913-1920xx年任上海美以美会会督期间,更是在汇文大学堂的财力上给予了鼎力支持。与此同时,贝施福还是一位藏书家和多产的史学家,编著过《中国与美以美会》(1906)、《美以美会在华一百年文献集》(1907)和《中国述论》(1916)等重要的在华教会史文献。1920xx年在上海逝世之前,贝施福向汇文大学堂遗赠了他所收藏的大量书籍,其中有很多是善本书。它们后来成为燕京大学图书馆西文书收藏中的核心部分。至今在北大图书馆的书库中仍能找到上千册有贝施福亲笔签名的西文书籍,内容大都跟在华传教士和中国历史文化有关。为了纪念他对于汇文大学堂和燕京大学的突出贡献, 1920xx年落成时便用他的名字命名。卫理会海外传教团捐款16万美元建造。 贝公楼的正门是在可以远眺燕山的西面。门前原来有一棵挺拔而高大的松树,还有一块西方所有大学校园均少不了的长方形草地。贝公楼正门上方的屋檐之下还挂有一块很大的牌匾,上书“贝公楼”三个大字。从1939年和1941年《燕大年刊》的老照片上我们都可以清晰地看到这一块牌匾。“贝公楼”的牌匾其实跟那块被奉为国宝的“大学堂”牌匾一样,都是具有很高历史文物价值的。

贝公楼原来正门的上方有一个小阳台,每当校内举行大型的集会时,这个阳台常常被用作一个讲坛,而听众们就站在办公楼与西校门之间的一大片草地上。1957年,当苏联的最高苏维埃主席伏罗希洛夫在周总理陪同下访问北大时,就曾经站在这儿对下面站满草坪北大师生发表过热情洋溢的讲演。可惜这样的壮观场面如今已难以重现。

宁德楼(Ninde Hall)

宁德楼(又称宗教楼,今北大外院民主楼),是燕园第一座建筑,1920xx年落成,作为学校的宗教学院所在地,由在上海的甘维尔夫妇捐赠,以纪念前美以美会会督宁德威廉牧师(Bishop William X. Ninde)。宁德威廉牧师与其妻1895年来华,自此从未中断过祷告,祈求这个伟大而有着悠久历史的国家早日福音化 。宁德楼二楼有小礼拜堂,学校的主要圣事都在这里举行,这里还进行许多重要的选举,这个礼拜堂至今犹在。

穆楼(McBrier Recitation Hall)

由托事部的司库、银行家穆布莱(McBrier)捐款10万美元所建,今为北大外文楼。科学楼(Science Buildings)

其中一个由洛克菲勒基金会用于建设北京协和大学医学预科的资金中的一部分兴建,今为北大化学南楼和化学北楼。燕大图书馆

燕京大学图书馆位于贝公楼南侧,即今天的北京大学档案馆,是由托马斯•贝利(Thomas Berry)夫妇的三个女儿为纪念父母的遗愿——“在全中国推广学习”而捐款五万美元兴建的,以其收藏的善本书和古籍书而著称。1952年院系调整时,它已有图书期刊40万册,未编图书期刊18万册,另拓片120xx余张,木刻书板2400块。其中收善本以明、清刻本及抄本居多,宋元版本也不少。 善本书数量高达3578种,37484册。由于燕大作为原教会学校的特殊地位,在西文书收藏中最著名的要数基督教神学和有关基督教在文化传播史方面的收藏。古籍丛书也是国内图书馆中收藏最丰富者之一。此外,燕京大学图书馆还收到来自各方的赠书。其中有孙中山先生从自家书架上亲自取下的一包书,还有美国校友分别于1920xx年和1920xx年赠送的书。李赋宁先生在一篇题为《我与北大图书馆》的回忆文章中写道,在他初来北大任教的日子里,正是燕京大学保存的西文特藏书,使他能够顺利地备课和准备讲演稿,并在北大图书馆度过了一段祥和而严肃的研究时光。

甘德阁,麦风阁(又称姊妹楼,今南阁和北阁)

甘德阁为Mrs David Gamble捐款所建,南北二阁建于1920xx年,北边的麦风阁为音乐教室和男女学生活动室,南边的甘德阁当时作为女部的办公楼使用。它们是以美德博士(Miss Luella Miner)的名字来命名的。麦美德博士是原华北协和女子大学的校长,华北协和女子大学并入燕京大学以后,便自动成为燕大的女部,麦美德(Miner)就成为燕大首任女部主任。麦博士在任只有三年,但是为燕大作出了历史性的贡献。因而在海淀新校园落成时,依据当时给建筑命名的惯例,就将这两座美丽典雅的阁楼以麦美德来命名了。从甘德阁和麦风阁到南北阁的转变,估计也是因缘于钱穆先生的提议。从那时开始,甘德阁和麦风阁的名称就逐渐被人们淡忘在历史的角落了。

圣人楼(Sage Hall 今天的俄文楼)

当时是女子学院教学楼,由罗素•塞奇基金会(Russel Sage Foundation) 捐资兴建,二楼有礼拜堂,专供女子圣事服侍之用。钟亭铜钟系雍正皇帝降旨所造,是1920xx年,学校用哈佛燕京学社的款项从黑寺 购得。每隔半小时,校园里会响起悠扬的钟声。

临湖轩

The Great Wall, like the Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal(1) in India and the Hanging Garden of Babylon(2), is one of the great wonders of the world. Starting out in the east on the banks of the Yalu River in Liaoning Province, the Wall stretches westwards for 12,700 kilometers to Jiayuguan in the Gobi desert, thus known as the Ten Thousand Li Wall in China. The Wall climbs up and down, twists and turns along the ridges of the Yanshan and Yinshan Mountain Chains through five provinces-Liaoning, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Gansu--and two autonomous regions--Ningxia and Inner Mongolia, binding the northern China together.

Historical records trace the construction of the origin of the Wall to defensive fortification back to the year 656 B.C. during the reign of King Cheng of the States of Chu. Its construction continued throughout the Warring States period in the fifth Century B.C. when ducal states Yan, Zhao, Wei, and Qin were frequently plundered by the nomadic peoples living north of the Yinshan and Yanshan mountain ranges. Walls, then, were built separately by these ducal states to ward off such harassments. Later in 221 B.C., when Qin conquered the other states and unified China, Emperor Qinshihuang ordered the connection of these individual walls and further extensions to form the basis of the present great wall. As a matter of fact, a separate outer wall was constructed north of the Yinshan range in the Han Dynasty(206 BC--1644 BC.), which went to ruin through years of neglect. In the many intervening centuries, succeeding dynasties rebuilt parts of the Wall. The most extensive reinforcements and renovations were carried out in the Ming Dynasty (1368--1644) when altogether 18 lengthy stretches were reinforced with bricks and rocks. it is mostly the Ming Dynasty Wall that visitors see today. The Great Wall is divided into two sections, the east and west, with Shanxi Province as the dividing line. The west part is a rammed earth construction, about 5.3 meters high on average. In the eastern part, the core of the Wall is rammed earth as well, but the outer shell is reinforced with bricks and rocks. The most imposing and best preserved sections of the Great Wall are at Badaling and Mutianyu, not far from Beijing and both are open to visitors. The Wall of those sections is 7.8 meters high and 6.5 meters wide at its base, narrowing to 5.8 meters on the ramparts, wide enough for five horses to gallop abreast. There are ramparts, embrasures, peep-holes and apertures for archers on the top, besides gutters with gargoyles to drain rain-water off the parapet walk. Two-storied watch-towers are built at approximately 400-meters internals. The top stories of the watch-tower were designed for observing enemy movements, while the first was used for storing grain, fodder, military equipment and gunpowder as well as for quartering garrison soldiers. The highest watch-tower at Badaling standing on a hill-top, is reached only after a steep climb, like "climbing a ladder to heaven". The view from the top is rewarding, hoverer. The Wall follows the contour of mountains that rise one behind the other until they finally fade and merge with distant haze. A signal system formerly existed that served to communicate military information to the dynastic capital. This consisted of beacon towers on the Wall itself and on mountain tops within sight of the Wall. At the approach of enemy troops, smoke signals gave the alarm from the beacon towers in the daytime and bonfire did this at night.

Emergency signals could be relayed to the capital from distant places within a few hour long before the invention of anything like modern communications. There stand 14 major passes (Guan, in Chinese) at places of strategic importance along the Great Wall, the most important being Shanghaiguan and Jiayuguan. Yet the most impressive one is Juyongguan, about 50 kilometers northwest of Beijing. Known as "Tian Xia Di YI Guan" (The First Pass Under Heaven), Shanghaiguan Pass is situated between two sheer cliffs forming a neck connecting north China with the northeast. It had been, therefore, a key junction contested by all strategists and many famous battles were fought here. It was the gate of Shanghaiguan that the Ming general Wu Sangui opened to the Manchu army to suppress the peasant rebellion led by Li Zicheng and so surrendered the whole Ming empire to the Manchus, leading to the foundation of the Qing Dynasty. (1644-1911) Jiayuguan Pass was not so much as the "Strategic pass Under the Heaven" as an important communication center in Chinese history. Cleft between the snow-capped Qilian Mountains and the rolling Mazong Mountains, it was on the ancient Silk Road. Zhang Qian, the first envoy of Emperor Wu Di of the Western Han dynasty (206 B.C-24 A.D), crossed it on his journey to the western regions. Later, silk flowed to the west through this pass too. The gate-tower of Jiayuguan is an attractive building of excellent workmanship. It has an inner city and an outer city, the former square in shape and surrounded by a wall 11.7 meters high and 730 meters in circumference. It has two gates, an eastern one and a western one. On each gate sits a tower facing each other. the four corners of the wall are occupied by four watch towers, one for each. Juyongguan, a gateway to ancient Beijing from Inner Mongolia, was built in a 15-kilometer long ravine flanked by mountains. The cavalrymen of Genghis Khan swept through it in the 13th century. At the center of the pass is a white marble platform named the Cloud terrace, which was called the Crossing-Street Dagoba, since its narrow arch spanned the main street of the pass and on the top of the terrace there used to be three stone dagobas, built in the Yuan Daynasty(1206-1368). At the bottom of the terrace is a half-octagonal arch gateway, interesting for its wealth of detail: it is decorated with splendid images of Buddha and four celestial guardians carved on the walls. The vividness of their expressions is matched by the exquisite workmanship. such grandiose relics works, with several stones pieced together, are rarely seen in ancient Chinese carving. The gate jambs bear a multi-lingual Buddhist sutra, carved some 600 years ago in Sanskrit(3), Tibetan, Mongolian, Uigur(4), Han Chinese and the language of Western Xia. Undoubtedly, they are valuable to the study of Buddhism and ancient languages. As a cultural heritage, the Wall belongs not only to China but to the world. The Venice charter says: "Historical and cultural architecture not only includes the individual architectural works, but also the urban or rural environment that witnessed certain civilizations, significant social developments or historical events." The Great Wall is the largest of such historical and cultural architecture, and that is why it continues to be so attractive to people all over the world. In 1987, the Wall was listed by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site.

为什么叫栈桥?关于栈桥的定义,汉语字典中的解释是:“凡是伸到海里的简易码头都称为栈桥。”那它为什么又会成为青岛的标志呢?原来青岛在100多年前是一个小渔村,1891年清政府下诏书在青岛建置。1892年清政府派登州总兵章高元带四营官兵驻扎青岛,为便于部队军需物资的运输, 建了两座码头,一座就是现今的栈桥。该码头原称谓很多,有海军栈桥、前海栈桥、 南海栈桥、李鸿章栈桥、大码头等,长200米,宽10米。另一座位于总兵衙门前方的“衙门桥”长100米,宽6米,亦称“蜗牛桥”。这两座码头都是中国工程师自己设计的, 也是青岛港最早的码头建设。1897年,德军以演习为名,从青岛湾登陆,武力占领青岛,栈桥成为德军侵占青岛的见证。德帝国主义侵占青岛后,

将原桥北端改为石基,水泥铺面,南端下立,钢制桥架上面铺有木板,并设轻便铁轨,南端仍是铁木桥,桥身延长到350米,仍为军用码头。 1920xx年大港第一码头建成后,栈桥逐渐失去它作为码头的历史使命,开始向游人开放。1920xx年青岛被中国收回,1931年国民政府出巨资由德国信利洋行承包重建,桥身加长到440米,桥南端增建了半圆型的防浪堤, 并在防浪堤上修建了具有民族形式的二层八角凉亭,亭子由彩色琉璃瓦覆盖,24根红漆柱子支撑,取名“回澜阁”。阁心有螺旋形楼梯,楼上一周为玻璃窗,有“一窗一景,一景一画”之说。整个工程至1933年4月竣工。 栈桥从此成为青岛第一景。建国后,人民政府多次拨款对栈桥进行维修, 1985年青岛市又对栈桥进行了大规模的全面整修,两侧围以铁索护栏,12对欧式桥灯相峙而立,外铺砌花岗岩石台阶。1998年底至1999年6月市政府再次拨款对栈桥进行了大规模整修,此次维修既达到防风浪、防腐蚀要求,保持原有的风韵,又与两侧护岸设施相匹配,增加了美观效果,使整个桥体焕发了青春。

栈桥是青岛历史的见证,有着一百多年的历史。她身上即刻录了青岛的屈辱岁月,也记录了解放后青岛市的建设与发展。

各位团友,我们现在站在栈桥桥头,沿着这条通往海中的路往前走,如同置身于大海之中,能充分感受到海的气息,体验到海的宽广伟大。碧波拍打着桥面,白云在头上飘过,海鸥在天空中飞翔,游船在海中穿梭,大家在行进中可以看到岸边的红瓦、绿树如同一幅美丽的画卷逐渐展现在我们面前。我们可以充分领略到康有为先生所描写的:“碧海蓝天,红瓦绿树”。前面我们看到的这个沙滩是栈桥海水浴场,它是市区浴场中最小的一个,它与繁华的中山路相邻而且周围环境十分优美,有很多人到此游泳。

海关大楼前面那座造型奇特的建筑是海上皇宫,海上皇宫是一座集游览、娱乐、演出、餐饮于一体的旅游场所,投资一亿多人民币,整座建筑是由几个四分之一的圆体组成的,共6层,地下一层,地上5层,整体用108根柱子支撑,建筑面积1.1万平方米,它以一流的环境,五星级的服务,被列为青岛餐饮特一级店。

各位团友,现在我们来到了回澜阁,我们可以在阁楼凭窗眺望,全方位地看到美丽的青岛湾和周围的各个景点和著名建筑。个别景点,我们等一会还将去参观游览,现在我简要地给大家介绍一下:

回澜阁对面那座小岛是小青岛,小青岛上因为植被茂盛,郁郁葱葱,看上去一片翠绿因此得名“青岛”。青岛建市后,便以它命名,这个岛便改名“小青岛”了。

在小青岛南面还有一座岛,那就是“薛家岛”。薛家岛原来是一个荒僻的小岛,在明朝初年,岛上渔村里有一姓薛的人家出了一员大将叫薛禄,从此逐渐发展成为规模较大的渔村,改名为薛家村,此后小岛又改名为薛家岛。它的面积为27平方公里,海岸线长达38公里,并有青岛最长的一个沙滩-“金沙滩”。

大家看到与小青岛仅一水之隔停泊着许多军舰的是中国海军博物馆,她是我国目前规模最大的一处反映中国人民海军面貌的综合性博物馆。博物馆临海处原是海军驻青部队小型航舰的停泊之处,陆地为海军部队驻地。1989年在此筹建海军博物馆。海军各有关部门提供了大量的珍贵文物,该馆文物处还在全国进行了广泛的征集,经过两年的紧张筹建,在1991年正式开展,现每年接待游客达几十万人之多。新的海军博物馆正在原址规划建设,再过几年这里将建成世界一流的代表中国海军现代风貌和水平的新的中国海军博物馆。

接下来请大家看一下北面那两座高高耸立的塔楼,那就是天主教堂。天主教堂于1932年动工,1934年竣工,高56米,上面的两个十字架分别为4.5米,是青岛地区最大的哥特式建筑,它也是对外开放的一个宗教景点。

与栈桥北端相接的是青岛最繁华的商业街“中山路”。德国占领青岛后于1899年为了在后海修建深水码头,于是开辟了一条南北连接的道路,这便是中山路的雏形。德占领青岛时期,德县路以南是德国人居住区,命名为“斐迭里街”,德县路以北是中国人居住区,称为大马路,1920xx年,两条路合并在一起,命名为山东路,1920xx年,为纪念孙中山先生,又改名为中山路。中山路全长1300多米,63座建筑,160多家商场,同时它还是国家确定的全国100个文明示范点之一。

在栈桥的东侧,是泛海名人大酒店,原是德国青岛大饭店附属的旅馆部,由德国建筑师保尔·弗里德里希设计,为典型德国古典式建筑。而原德国大饭店的主要建筑于1993年拆毁,在原址上盖起了泛海名人大酒店。

德国占领青岛期间,德国皇帝威廉二世的弟弟亨利亲王多次来过青岛,并曾下榻于这座饭店,因而当时俗称“亨利亲王大饭店”或“亨利王子饭店”。当时的德国墨克连堡亲王、清朝邮部大臣盛宣怀也曾在此住过。1920xx年辛亥革命爆发,清王朝覆灭,孙中山先生于1920xx年1月出任临时大总统。3个月后让位于袁世凯。同年8月,孙中山到北京与袁世凯会晤后,转道青岛返回上海。9月28日,孙中山抵达德国统治下的青岛,曾下榻于此饭店。
