I am an English graduate of 20xx in Hunan University of Science and Engineering. Throughout my campus life, I have devoted myself with sincerity and motivation to the learning of English language. I have got strict training and grasped the five basic skills of foreign language quite well. As an English major, I have a good command of English in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation. Being proud of my fluent oral English, I can express myself precisely. I also possess some certain abilities of translation and interpretation. At the same time, I am very interested in computer and can operate Word, PowerPoint, typesetting and Windows System very well.

During my four years college learning, I have got full training of occupational skills. However, I still pay more attention to improve myself in all aspects. When I was in the university, I participated in the English Association of our college (TEE) actively and was elected the president of TEE and Association Minister of Foreign Language Department, well-praised for my hard-working. I think I have got a lot of strength from this experience, such as the ability of communication, expression, and the attitude towards life and work.

Optimism, calmness, diligence and innovation strive to be my characteristics conscientiously. I’d like to apply for post like manager assistant in corporation which relate to my major. 我对文学的爱好，让我的眼界更宽广，让我的思维更加广阔。我在省、市报刊发表过十多篇作文，在莲圆原创文学网站有我好多文章。我想一棵大树，不管有多么大，它的根总是深深扎在大地里的。文学的根就深植于我国悠久的传统文化中。我喜欢〈西游记〉，尤爱〈三国演义〉，酷爱〈红楼梦〉。我爱〈三国演义〉就爱它的简爽干练，我喜欢〈红楼梦〉就爱它的温柔可人。我读到诸葛老师陨落五仗原，总有无限哀叹。我每次读到林黛玉临终前的那一幕，那竭尽全力的一句宝玉，你-------都忍不住替她接一句宝玉，你好狠心。然后心痛不已。我想，〈三国演义〉教会我用怀疑的眼光看问题，而〈红楼梦〉教会我用理想的眼光去解决问题。我用传统名著，在理想与现实之间构建统一的桥梁。

令我颇为自豪的还有奥赛上的成绩。怎么说呢，成绩不是最好，但足以令我引以为荣。高一的时候，我就参加了化学竞赛，获得了市三等奖。当时我只是初试牛刀，小试身手。高二，开了生物课，对生物的兴趣使我毫不迟疑的参加竞赛班的学习，全心全意投入到生物的广阔海洋中去，其实，那时离市赛只有十多天，距省赛仅有半个月可以准备。我如饥似渴的仅用不到十天时间就把一本六百页厚的〈生物奥赛教程〉啃完，同时又做了几十张的习题。工夫不负有心人，我以**市市赛第二的身份进入省赛。为迎接省赛，我自学了大学生物课程，做了近五年的奥赛试题，每天忙到深夜，一大早又急急赶到学校图书馆。那个时候学校正开夏季运动会，运动员在赛场挥汗如雨，我在闷热的房间汗流浃背。我准备的很充足，踌躇满志，势在必得，我甚至夸下海口：争省一，保省二，现在看来，那时的我就像一把弓，无论精神上还是体力上都张的过满，连日的疲惫像洪水一样漫过了警戒线。在乘车去信阳市的五个多小时的长途汽车时，晕车了，呕吐，头晕，恶心。结果，我没有把梦想带入现实，我以二分的差距与省二等奖无缘。我只得了省三等奖。当时我非常难过，为自己的付出而伤心，妈妈解劝我说：这个努力的过程是一笔不小的人生财富。现在看来，即使是省三等奖，在自主招生中不是也有很大的作用么?不是也帮助我向心仪的大学更靠近一步么?我觉得奥赛是我很难忘的一次经历，它让我知道了过程与结果同样重要。

我现在只是团员，正积极要求入党，因为我相信唯物主义。我非常佩服伟人毛泽东。不到长城非好汉，屈指行程二万。对我而言，贵校就是我心中的长城，我想，只有进入贵校，才能英雄有用武之地吧。期待您的认可!
