高中英语新课程实施过程问题调研报告

课程在学校教育中处于核心地位，教育目标和价值主要通过课程来体现和实施。XX年9月英语新课程已登堂入室，正式走进全国九个省份的高中校园。它除了遵守语言教学规律，渗透思想情感教育，融知识性、趣味性于一体，更加充分体现当前课程改革的最新精神和时代特征，真正把英语教学转变到了“以学生为本”的轨道上。新教材走出了单纯以学科规律为导引的传统的教材设计，立足于学生的生活，关注学生学习过程中所表现出来的情感态度，学习策略，心智潜能等主体意识的培养，来确立学生的主体地位。

然而，要使每个教师都能从本质上接受新课程标准的精神，在教育教学理念上完全从传统模式中转变过来，不走样，有一个过程，甚至是较长的一个过程。新课标从理论上讲无疑是美好的，但在实际操作的过程中，存在理论与实际的冲突，存在着理想价值观与现实价值观的冲突，使相当一部分在教学第一线上的老师常常感到难以把握，常常被困惑所烦恼。如何使教师们解除困惑，正确面对现实问题，积极摸索出适合国情、省情的教学路子是英语新课程实施成功与否的关键所在。笔者基于上述考虑提出下列四个问题与英语同行交流。

一 、关注高中起始阶段的英语教学

新课标的教学目标是提高学生的学习兴趣、培养他们的学习态度，树立信心，养成良好的学习习惯，形成良好的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力，使学生掌握英语基础知识和听、说、读、写均能形成一定的综合语言运用能力。这跟过去的大纲是有区别的，过去大纲是先写基础知识，后写交际运用的能力。现在反过来，先写非智力因素，这体现了以人的发展为本而不是以知识为本的新理念。但在实际的教学中，教育质量在对教师的评价中比以往任何时候都重要。教师很难，甚至不可能去考虑兴趣培养，从培养能力的态度及建立长远计划的角度体现发展观的问题。高中的新课程一开始，教师在同行竞争的压力下，都采用大容量，快节奏的教学方法。一开始就用上，学生根本没有接触过的词汇和内容，给学生当头一棒，致使相当一部份学生由此丧失了学习英语的信心和兴趣。若降低起点，减小坡度，放慢速度来激活同学的学习兴趣和心智潜能，无疑是正确的，但对教师进行教学质量评估的学校管理制度使教师在这二者的选择时，处于两难的境地。所以要真正落实新课标新理念要求广大教师摒弃功利思想，牢牢记住以人为本，注重人的发展观。新课标的实施受到现实价值观的阻挠。看来，全面实行新课标是一个系统工程，要和现存教学评价体系改革相配套。只有对教师教学评价体系改革同时启动，才有助于对学生学习信心培养把开发心智潜能落到实处。

二、关于课堂教学模式问题

新课程进入课堂后确实给课堂带来生机。其中学生积极参与教学活动的课堂模式的确体现了新课程的以学生为主体和学生发展观的教学理念。它对打破教师过于注重知识传授的模式强调形成积极主动的学习态度，使获得基础知识与基本技能的过程同时成为学会学习和形成正确价值观的过程。在有令人可喜一面的同时，在众多中学校也有令人忧虑的一面。笔者在全国各地中学听了不少课，总体来说授课老师有着良好的教师素质和驾驭课堂的基本功。从整堂课的环节来看，似乎非常完美，无懈可击。但最大的通病就是对学生来说，没有体验的时间，信息输入量对中等及其以下的学生都不够。整堂课似乎也很热闹，但学生所获不多，而是被老师安排的教学环节牵着走。我和几位老师在听完我校一些青年教师的观摩课都有些同感，缺少足够的输入哪来足够真实的输出？这些通病看似环节的问题，其实本质是理念问题，说到底还是为了追求课堂形式完美，而牺牲学生体验，对以学生为本的思想缺乏深刻认识。在课堂上真正会回答问题的只有少数优秀学生。这种课堂行为说到底还是没有面向全体。面向全体学生不能以是不是全体学生都有没有参与课堂活动来衡量，要看是这种课堂活动对他们是否有效来决定。
