笔译的开始是比较辛苦

笔译其实就是和电脑打交道，一天工作8个小时，除去厕所、电话、和间接性瞌睡的时间，平均至少有7个小时是对着电脑的，当然有些同事闭目养神时也是对着电脑的,背后一看你会以为他在对着电脑思考。在一间十几二十台电脑加在一起的房间里，每天要坐这么久，辐射伤害是很大的，搞不好哪天突然变异了都不知道，臀部和肩部也会很酸痛。平常员工之间交流甚少，一天下来听不到几句人声，文件和问题交流都是qq传递的。要静下心坐得住，可能需要一段时间来适应。

翻译公司客户所给的文件百分之七89十是非文学的，都是建筑、投标、商业、电子、石油、化工、铁路等等专业性文件。做的时候想坚持什么“信、达、雅”原则的话基本是作梦，公司要求是你翻正确了就好。专业性的文件就有专业性的术语，以前学校老师课堂上用到的比例几乎为零。这些术语有些公司会给统一的词汇，但是那些既晦涩在网上又很难查的一般都给不了，因为人家很多也是网上查的词，还不一定有你的查找的资源多。所以开始的时候，往往会遇到原文看不懂或者觉得语法不对的情况，这就好比有个黑头发黄皮肤的同胞用国语和你说了一些话，但你觉得他说的根本不是人话。

另外，待遇没有想象中的那么好。起初，我认为翻译是门要求较高的职业，面试淘汰率也较太高，自然待遇应该不差。不过实际情况是培训期(其实每天也在做文件，培训得很少)只有600元生活补助，实习期1200(加保险)，转正期=实习期+200左右。翻译公司普遍都是民营企业，不会有什么工作餐或者提供宿舍之类的，拿的是纯工资。当然，这些数字是可以根据你的实际工作量和质有所变化的。至于如何变化，现在还不得而知。

所以，想做笔译的朋友要有个好的心理准备。

这里只有“姐”没有“哥”

学英语的可能很熟悉这种感觉，就是总是处于一个花团簇拥(也有可能是“草”团簇拥)、狼少肉多的状态。出了学校，在公司也还是这样，谈到前辈的话基本上都是个“姐”：“这个问题可以问下a姐”、“你收到b姐的文件没”、“c姐说明天放假”、“d姐找你有事”、“e姐。。。”等等。“姐”中高手是有的，听说成都有个姐是联合国什么什么的专门翻译，工资是公司no.1，中译英文件她一出手那是手到擒来，而经理姐的时速是1000字，真令我等高山仰止，俨然一个传说。未来一两年还会涌现出又一批“姐”们，也会夹着几个“哥”吧。不过，这些“哥”中应该是不会有我的。

时间一长大家熟了，也无所谓“姐”或是“哥”了，都还聊得来。吃饭和下班时间，会一起聊聊天、开开玩笑、等等电梯什么的。上班时，也就不会感觉是坐在一间网吧里了。

整体来说，我们过得很和谐。

我也在乎工资

找工作那段时间，网上很流行某些商业奇才、外企骄子或是hr专家的职场语录。我就见过一些，诸如刚进去的时候不要计较工资、要踏实肯干、给领导倒茶扫地、什么杂活都包了之类云云。我没有反驳的意思，毕竟是经验之谈。但有些人可能误解了一些意思，比如不要计较工资。

许多应届生出来都把“工资”默认为是和领导交流时的敏感词。于是乎，培训期过去半月了，工资没发，我也不好去找领导问为什么。有个女生是培训期+1月过了都没去问，忍道真是到了一定境界，定属“姐”材。梅说，应该问的，这个是员工的基本权利。我觉得有理，于是就去问了“姐”，原来是总经理发工资，而他本身又不知道我们过了培训期这回事，民意通过“姐”才传达到。后来来了些新员工，可能也深受hr语录毒害，培训期过后不敢询问工资。我于是引用了梅的话，他说：“压榨年代，何来权利”。又是一个忍道高手。后来我还是去问了姐，因为我没钱了，发现原来以后的工资是统一15日发的。

我认为，把这些事问清楚本身并没有什么。不要计较工资是不要老想着加薪、提高待遇、嫌工资低的事，并不是说你啥事都不闻不问。

电脑基本知识很重要

工欲善其事，必先利其器。笔译的器是电脑，要利器就要对电脑知识(主要包括文字处理软件，信息搜索能力和辅助翻译软件)有一定了解。实习期间，有些女生由于word知识掌握不够，仅由于一些小毛病弄了半天，甚至有时候做完了文件没保存就出问题了。现在的因特网这么发达，想象解决这些问题真是易如反掌，特别是那些常见的问题，随便百度一下，谷歌一下，有道一下或是问“姐”一下，答案就是丰富多彩的。有的网友解答得是有声有色，举例子、列数字、打比方、排比都有的。当然，前提是你这个问题要说对才行。常用的快捷键知识是必须的，表格排版也要掌握。trados翻译软件暂时没教，这个估计水平到一定境界才好用，不然你翻译的本身都错了，还去保存起来岂不误人子弟。我看公司这边的“姐”都很少用。

我很庆幸自己一直对电脑知识比较感兴趣，掌握得还好。所以，翻译时诸如排版、查单词、打字速度等，我都没什么问题，因此我整体翻译速度还算是前位。不过，自己翻译的质量我还是不太敢恭维。

实习过来，我也曾觉得笔译很无聊、待遇很差，也曾诸多抱怨，不过我知道自己还是喜欢这个行业。屈原说，“亦余心之所向善兮，虽九死其犹未悔。”我想，翻译便是我心中现在向往的美好事物之一，好在还不需要玩命。

首先，要想提高自己的翻译能力，一定要动手实践。不过实践也要分为两类，即直接实践和间接实践。直接实践就是我们自己要动手翻译，一回生,二回熟,日积月累,第一手经验多了,做起来得心应手,翻译能力有所提高。所谓“熟能生巧”,就是这个道理。而间接实践就是我们从研究别人翻译的东西。虽说这两种实践都能在一定程度上对我们的翻译能力的提升有所帮助，但是个人认为，直接实践更具重要性。就如同本次翻译实习，在实习的最初，我对文章里的各种专业术语感到无比的头疼，甚至有抓狂的冲动。原因很简单，它们对我来说完全陌生，这就让我基本读不懂原文，这样怎能做翻译呢?所以，在我一再坚持查阅词典及其他相关资料后，我渐渐地记住了许多术语的意思，也慢慢了解了它们的用法，于是我的翻译速度也就从最开始蜗牛爬的速度变得更加娴熟，译文也不再那么干涩生硬了。这不得不让人感慨，熟能生巧啊。学翻译犹如学游泳。只在岸边看别人游,或只听教练讲解,是学不会的。所以，自己亲身的锻炼是绝对必不可少的。

其次，在翻译的过程中，我们必须根据翻译材料内容的不同而采取不同的翻译方法和技巧。在这次翻译实习中，我所翻译的材料是具有很强专业性的材料，而它的翻译有自身的特点，所以在翻译的时候，我也采用了相应的方法。对此类专业资料的翻译，很重要的一点就是保证原文意思的准确性及精确性。因此，在翻译时，选词是很重要的一步。正确选择词义是保证译文质量的中心问题。

英汉两种语言在词义方面存在很大的差异，一般来说，英语词义比较灵活多变，词的含义范围比较宽，词义对上下文的依赖性比较大。而汉语词语的意思则更为严谨，词义的伸缩性和对上下文的依赖性比较小。在翻译的过程中，我们首先要正确理解原文的含义，然后在译文语中选择正确的词语进行翻译。只有这样才能准确无误地传达出原文的意思，从而做到翻译的第一条标准“信”。

20xx年X月，我终于踏进了梦寐以求的广交会展馆大门，担任参展商翻译工作，心情既兴奋激动也有些许忐忑不安。心情兴奋激动是因为我可以在这个广阔的外贸舞台上展现我十多年来学习到的英语与外贸知识了，还可以近距离接触到来自世界各地的客户;忐忑不安是因为我担心能力不够，听不懂外商与老板之间的洽谈。

参展商摊位翻译不同于以往我在酒店担任的前台翻译，前者的翻译涉及到各种国际贸易专业知识与各行业的专业术语。第一天，有一位迪拜采购商对我们的产品很感兴趣，他指着一条规格是3mm的铁链问我“The material is G30?(是G30材料吗?)”我知道他在问材料，就回答说“The material is iron.”他继续问“Is G30?”我当时不懂他说的G30是什么意思，加上对方有一点地方口音，就停顿下来思考了一下，他见我没有回答他的问题，就继续问“Is G30?”,当时老板也在场，我觉得非常尴尬，后来他把G30写在纸上，我还是不明白G30是什么意思，但是老板一看，就连连点头说“Yes, yes”，老板告诉我G30是高硬度钨钢的专业术语缩写，他能理解我不懂，因为各行都有专业术语。有了第一天的尴尬情况出现，当晚回到宿舍，我就到网上查找各种钢材的专业术语，比如Q235是普通碳素结构的钢材，Q195是很常见的碳素钢，比Q235强度低，价格也较便宜，并且把它们拍成图片保存在手机里随时查看。事实证明，这些专业术语名词对我后来的翻译工作帮助很大。

开馆的第二天，有四位皮肤黝黑的采购商来到我们摊位，我们互相打招呼后，我指着产品架说“Which product do you need?”他们就自己主动拿起产品看，并用他们的语言在商量，我很认真的听他们的对话准备翻译，可是他们讲的语言我根本听不懂。过了一会儿，其中一位女士递给我们一张名片，用很流利的中文说他们是来自缅甸的铁链采购商，让我们给他们列出2mm-12mm规格的铁链的价格，由于他们的国家不发达，国人消费的铁链质量要求不高，如果价格合理，他们会和我们大量订购并长期合作，她也打开手机让我看他们与其他厂家交易的提单照片，她给我看的提单与我在单证课上学习的提单样本几乎相似，那一刻我觉得课本知识真的很重要。从提单上，我知道了他们与其他厂家交易的价格与数量，该笔交易的时间是20xx年9月13号，提单上也有船公司的盖章，他们应该不会是在欺骗我们。老板见他们很有诚意，就给他们报了合理的价格，他们看后也没有异议，口头上答应成交了，相互留下名片，说回去后邮件往来、签订合同。由于他们很有诚意交易，订购量也很大，所以老板整天的心情都美滋滋的。从中，我也明白了，我们一定要学好单证知识，它在外贸职场上真的很实用，同时，我们除了掌握英语这门语言外，也还要掌握一两门其他语言，才能在外贸职场上有优势。

开馆的第二天下午，有一位外国人一进摊位就笑嘻嘻地和老板打招呼说“Hello! 你好!”老板说他是来自黎巴嫩的老客户，那老外性格非常开朗，也非常热情地和我打招呼。接着，他坐下来问他之前的订购的货物广交会上询问的人多不多，有没有来自黎巴嫩和土耳其的采购商来看产品，老板就说没有，他很开心的笑了，笑得好像圣诞老爷爷。他从包里拿出一沓表格，表格上都已经列好了他要采购的产品型号，就等着老板给他列价格。老板跟他交情似乎很不错，给了他所有客户中的最优惠价格，而他同样又给老板提了很多产品建议，互利互惠。值得一提的是，这个黎巴嫩客户很幽默，他说他会用中文说数字，他用英文“son(儿子)”的发音来记忆中文数字“三”的发音，他引得我们都哄堂大笑，气氛十分的融洽。聊完正事后，他从包里拿出一盒包装精致的糕点，他说这是他从黎巴嫩带来的，这糕点在他们国家很出名。他也给我介绍了他国家的风土人情，并打开手机给我看他家乡与家人的照片，那天闭馆后，他请我们去珠江新城一家叫bosphorus的西餐厅吃晚餐。

后面几天都有来自世界各国的采购商来询问价格，他们为了避免产生错误，都会将他们想要的规格写在纸上，再让我们给他列出价格，报价都是报FOB青岛价。然而，由于平时上课听习惯了外教纯正的英语口语，所以当接待到来

自中东和印度的采购商时，不熟悉他们的口音，翻译起来非常吃力，他们能听懂我讲，但我却很难听懂他们讲。后来，我渐渐地总结到了经验，把他们说的关键词翻译给老板，如果确实听不懂，只要我们主动热情、耐心、微笑地对待他们，他们都会重复说几遍，甚至会用肢体语言或者用笔写下来直到我们理解为止。

下面就总结一下我的广交会感想：一、勤于思考、发现问题，不断总结。常常都会被客户问到一些我并不了解的问题。有的可能对于内行的人来说属于很简单的常识，可是我从来没听说过，于是我每天都把问题记下来，用空余时间问老板或者到网上查找。二、翻译过程中头脑要保持沉着冷静。在翻译过程中难免会遇到不懂得词汇或者专业术语，还会遇到各种口音的英语，这些原因可能会让我们听不懂对方说的话。即使碰到沟通上的问题，但也不要慌张，头脑要保持沉着冷静，可以互相用写或者肢体语言来交流，双方都明白易懂，合作起来自然也愉快。 三、与客人洽谈时要做好记录。 跟哪位客人谈了哪些内容，都要做详细的记录，什么规格，报价多少，须一一记录下来，重点客户做好标记，这将会对老板回公司后给客户发邮件有很大帮助。四、要保管好客户名片。客人的名片要及时订在笔记本上，不要乱放以免搞丢或者弄乱了。

总而言之，此次的广交会翻译实习开阔了我的视野，为我将来的外贸业务工作积累到了宝贵的经验和奠定了人脉基础，也更进一步地认识了自我，我一定会好好总结经验，不断积累知识，努力完善自我，在以后求职道路上争取有更好的表现和更大的收获。

临近毕业的最后半年，是我们真正实习生活的开始，是汇报我们这三年来在学校学习成果的开始，是步入社会大展宏图的开始……参加了多场的招聘会、面试了多家的公司、衡量了多方面的因素，我选择了这家公司开始我的实习生涯。怀着兴奋、激动地心情，早早的踏上上班的公车，呼吸着清晨新鲜的空气，憧憬着新的一天。来到公司陌生的环境、陌生的人和事，让我感觉有点拘谨，努力让自己的微笑减少言语上的笨拙。

第一天并不像我想象的那样，由人事经理带我们熟悉公司的环境，结识新的同事。大家似乎都很忙，可能现在是业务的旺季吧。实习的第一周，并没有像我们想象的那样，有什么业务性的工作让我们着手。我们只是简单的分配到一些事务性的工作，如整理文档、记录一些旧的文案等等。然后利用中午休息的时间结识了一些新的同事，熟悉了公司的环境。这时才真正体会到了理想与现实之间的差距..但是,很快的,心里的小失落就被工作的繁忙给填补了.

经过了一个礼拜的实习,我也渐渐地开始从事一些公司需要的文件翻译.当然,那些与日企之间的业务合同了什么的还是不可能经过我这样的"菜鸟"的手的.我翻译的只是一些公司要提供给对方的我们的资格认证等的文件,还有一些礼节性的文件.由于这些东西基本都是可以套用格式的,所以也没有什么太大的压力,只要认真去做了,就还是很简单的.但是更多的时候依然还是在做内勤的一些杂活..虽然有些灰心,但是相对于公司其他一些非本科的还要下厂房进行厂房线上实习的实习生来说,已经算是受到照顾的了.而且这个应该也是所有的实习生要走过的一条必然之路吧.

所以也抱怨不了什么.只是尽力做好自己的本分工作,多向那些前辈问问,多学学,希望可以尽快地进入真正的实习状态.当然,偶尔的一两个时候还是依然有真正派上用场的时候.在进公司一个多星期的时候,一个日企客户突然打来咨询电话.由于没有其他人可以接,我就硬着头皮接了.虽然有点磕磕绊绊的,但是好歹还是了解的对方的意图,在解释了当时的状况之后定下了下次面谈的时间与地点,让我真正感受了一把外语业务咨询顾问的感觉。
