The people of China have been very much in my thoughts over the past two weeks as I have watched, with mounting concern, the effects of the devastation caused by the terrible earthquake in Sichuan Province. It has been most impressive to see the marvellous way in which the Chinese humanitarian operations have brought swift and effective relief to those affected. 时光荏苒，转眼间本学年的女生部工作已接近尾声。在担任女生部部长的这半年时间里，经过一次次的锻炼，我慢慢地成长，从稚嫩走向了成熟。现针对过去这一学期的工作及各方面表现，进行如下总结：

1、暑期工作：

在新学期开始之前，作为女生部部长候选人的我就开始忙着写策划书和工作计划了。并没有经验的我为此付出了很多心血，吃饭、睡觉都在思考着我的策划书怎样才能够出彩。然而由于种种原因我所策划第三届装饰前程系列活动以及“黄金易得，知音难求”交友活动都没有通过老师的审批，这使我受到了很大的打击。但是我并没有因此而气馁，而是总结教训，逆流而上，将更多的精力和时间放在学生会工作上。

2、迎新活动：

新生入学，学生会与团工委、科技联盟统一组织了我院迎新活动。我在女生四号楼负责新生的住宿引导工作。女生的行李多而且新生刚开学，家长对学校的各种制度很好奇，我们的工作主要就是解答他们的疑问，维护学校的形象。空闲时我们主动帮她们搬行李，一天下来累的是腰酸背痛。但是我觉得这一切都是值得的，此举不仅能够帮助新生而且提升了学校以及学生干部在家长和学生心目中的地位。

3、纳新工作：

九月下旬，学生会统一进行纳新工作。下连队、下宿舍、开始意愿加入女生部的同学并不多，让纳新工作陷入了困境，但是在秘书处和其他部门的帮助下，最终女生部成功吸纳了拥有一定能力并拥有积极进取的工作态度的10名干事，为本部注入新的活力。这次纳新让我意识到了女生部的工作并不轻松，作为一个新生部门，她在学生会七部一处中并不占优势。这为我今后的工作，敲响了警钟。

4、“心灵手巧，点石成金”环保设计大赛：

在与文艺部一起举办的环保设计大赛中，女生部并没有充分发挥主观能动性，而是处于辅助的位置，这使得干事在活动决赛当天并没有主人翁的意识。究其原因，是我没有起到带头作用。过去的干事教育工作中，我一直秉着增强她们的主观能动性来教育她们。想要让她们学会自觉、自律、自我价值的实现。但是这次活动之后我自我反省，作为干事的她们还没有那么强的自律精神，很多事情我必须要给他们引路，从而进一步完善了我的培养计划。

5、信息学院“悟经验之谈，创精英之梦”首届精英报告会： 此次与学习部一起承办的信息学院首届精英报告会是一件比较棘手的工作，前期准备工作比较仓促，领导对活动又有很高的期望。我作为女生部部长不分昼夜的跑在活动的第一线。在教室申请环节，我犯了一个不大不小的错误，致使活动现场的布置工作受到了阻碍。这使我在活动前一天晚上失眠了。我想这就是不够成熟的表现吧。不过活动举办的很成功，受到了领导和主席的表扬。这次活动让我受益匪浅，同时也体现了女生部的工作能力。

6、干事培养：

对于干事的培养，我一直秉承“先教做人，后教做事”的原则，着重培养她们的主观能动性。例会除必要的工作安排外主要以干事的发言为主，以增强干事的语言组织能力、缜密思考能力等。日常生活中则以一个朋友的身份与她们相处，并努力帮助她们解决日常生活中遇到的问题。给她们做榜样，树立良好的学生干部形象。

在这一学期的工作中，学长、学姐以及老师的引导和帮助对我来说是一笔无价的财富。我的组织协调能力和人际交往能力都有了很大的提高。对于未来的工作，我更是充满了激情。我激情昂扬，不管以后的路或坎坷，或平坦，我都将以最佳姿态迎接挑战。
