作为第一个叙事性作品单元的第二课，我认为它是第一课《新闻两则》教学目标的延续和提升：《新闻两则》侧重从结果的角度来表现人民解放军的英勇善战，《芦花荡》则是从过程的角度来表现我们民族的英雄性格;《新闻两则》叙述简明，侧重教会学生六要素的知识，本文开始训练学生从比较复杂的叙述中来把握记叙的要素。同时，叙述相对新闻详尽、生动，也就为提高学生的语文素养提供了更多的路径。
