当初加入英协的初衷就是因为英协能给自己发挥才能的舞台，学习将来进入社会的实践本领。因此从我加入英语协会以来， 我每次活动都参加，连最基本，而我认为是最重要的常规活动——早读天天参加的，尽管偶尔会偷懒，但的确学到很多东西。因为我觉得加入英语协会最直接的目的就是提高自己的英语水平，而英协就是提供这样活动的一个社团。我乐意跟别人一起奋斗，一起成长，我认为这何乐而不为! 但让我有点失望的是能坚持天天过来读书的人并不是很多， 而且天气一冷，基本上是没有什么人来参加了，最后坚持下来的基本上都成了英协领导层， 所以， 从这点看， 我觉得坚持到最后的人， 才是最后的赢家!

英协给予我许多锻炼自我的平台， 平常的早读活动让我的英语口语越来越来，以至于我在参加协会和其他院举办的比赛时都能顺利应付，特别是英语角活动，让我有更多的机会与外教接触和交流， 提高我的口语水平，尽管我的英语现在依旧很烂，但我相信，我可以做得更好。

大一下学期，我有一名普通的会员到骨干再到听力社副社长，由参与者逐渐转变为组织者，这一角色的转换在刚开始的时候让我很不适应。说实话，活的确没少干：粘贴条幅、做宣传、布置会场、搬桌子椅子等，的却很累，几度让我产生退会的想法，逐渐慢慢地适应过来，才好。在我接下来的工作里，我开始慢慢懂得， 团队永远是最重要的，懂得在社团中学会合作，学会与他人更好地交流，我坚信一个团队能够产生无比强大的影响力，绝非一个人可以实现的。一个社团不善于发挥团队的优势， 定会导致很多的方面安排不到位， 活动的质量不会很高。因此提高了大家工作的积极性，才可以把我们的英语协会办得更好! 让我们颇感骄傲的一点是，我们社团在去年社团评优中再获佳绩，获得“优秀社团”称号。

虽然说我们英语协会的发展状况良好， 但其中存在的问题也是不容忽视的：

1、很多人的积极性下降， 尽管会长方面很积极，但下面的却有点懈怠，一方面由于期末临近，大家忙于考试，无法再专心工作，对此表示理解。另一方面是经过了高强度的工作后产生畏惧心理， 在思想上出现了懈怠、甚至想退会的苗头。

2、协会的奖罚措施不完善，可以说几乎没有。骨干表现未能及时得到记录和反应，平常会议不参加，甚至从未到场过。这使有些循规蹈矩的人产生抵触与不满情绪。这是我们以后工作中应该重视的一个点。相信在我们会长们，部长们， 干事的共同努力下， 我们协会的发展会越来越好， 协会的人员都能从中学到东西，真真从中学到点东西。

3、协会各方面制度和部门的却不够灵活，配合不过默契。

综上所述，我们协会的发展较之以前有了很大的进步，但发展中又存在着必然会存在的隐患， 需要我们不断的总结提高。 于我个人而言， 这一学期，我学到了了更多为人处事的方法， 我懂得了人无完人， 但我同时也知道了， 人永远都有进步的空间， 只要你朝着正确的方向努力， 只要你无悔地付出，坚持不懈地走，幸运之神最终会降临在你身边!

I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

as what i said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. the past has gone. nothing we do will change it. but the future is in front of us. believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. and from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “we are the world, we are the future.”

I am . I was born in Changsha. I graduate from senior high school and major in English. I started learning English since I was 12 years old. My parents have a lot of American friends. That’s why I have no problem communicating with Americans or others by speaking English.

In my spare time, I like to do anything relating to English such as listening to English songs, watching English movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some English clubs or institutes. I used to go abroad for a short- term English study. During that time, I learned a lot of daily life English and saw a lot of different things.

I think language is very interesting. I could express one substance by using different sounds. So I wish I could study and read more English literatures and enlarge my knowledge.
