我们现在看到的长城是1992年重修的。修复后的虎山长城以砖石结构为主。本着文物“修旧如旧”的原则,修复后的长城走势和各个敌楼、墙台、烽火台的位置都与文物考古发现原址相符合,基本上再现了历史上虎山长城的雄姿。

在我们左侧不到100米的地方,是第二座大桥,也是著名的‘鸭绿江中朝友谊桥’。这座桥是复线铁路桥。大桥上行铁路,下行公路。 当时公路桥面铺设木板,一九七七年换铺水泥板后就再没有修过。多年没有大修过的鸭绿江大桥钢梁已锈蚀斑斑,路面破损多达三百余处,有的桥面板移位、断裂, 致使大桥承重能力减弱。
朋友们,我们现在所在的位置是虎山景区。虎山景区位于中朝界鸭绿江江畔,主要有长城、 睡美人、中朝边境一步跨、古栈道等景点。其中,最具代表性的景点便是虎山长城。
虎山长城于丹东市宽甸县虎山乡。距据考证,它大约始建于1469年,是我国明朝万里长城的东端起点。它横跨祖国的千山万水,西与甘肃的嘉峪关长城相连,可称的上是古人留下的一座建筑丰碑。
我们现在看到的长城是1992年重修的。修复后的虎山长城以砖石结构为主。本着文物“修旧如旧”的原则,修复后的长城走势和各个敌楼、墙台、烽火台的位置都与文物考古发现原址相符合,基本上再现了历史上虎山长城的雄姿。
这座山就是虎山,它是突起于鸭绿江的一座孤山。仔细看一下,很像一只猛虎蹲坐在那里,所以这里得名虎山。
现在请随我登上长城。明长城的建筑结构非常完备,包括城墙、城台、敌台、烽火台、关口等部分,在这虎山长城基本都可以看到。

这里有个历史故事,我们一起来了解一下。1950年8月11日,当4架敌机向停在临江火车站一列装满作战物资的机车扫射轰炸时,临江火车司机徐国臣,冒着生命危险,冲进机车驾驶室,将军列向等避洞开去,敌机立即跟踪追炸,向列车头狂扫不止,徐国臣驾驶机车的四个手指头被打掉,鲜血直流,但仍坚持将列车开进了山洞,保住了机车。1951年,徐国臣被评为抗美援朝特等功臣,受到了毛主席的接见。徐国臣舍身救列车的英雄事迹很快传遍了全国,极大地鼓舞了全国军民保家卫国,抗美援朝的热潮。来到桥上,人们凭吊英灵,缅怀先烈,企盼世界永远和平,眼前仿佛又看到了志愿军铁流滚滚,雄师劲旅的雄姿和风采。

鸭绿江大桥全长九百四十六点二米,其中中方桥长五百六十九点九米。新闻报道中说,这次大桥桥面大修工程投资二百多万元人民币,由沈阳铁路局投资,沈阳铁路局丹东工务段承建。工程每周四四时至周日二十三时闭关昼夜施工,其余时间正常通关。这一工程将于今年十月下旬完工。这次修整后,大桥桥面的承重能力将由原来的十吨提升至二十吨。
在大桥维修的时候,周一至周三只允许旅游和贸易车辆往来,而周四至周日封闭公路路段,铁路运输正常不变。
随着大桥的竣工和朝鲜旅游的恢复,为了满足游客的需要,丹东市政府和丹东边检站报请公安部批准,允许游客步行上桥进入朝鲜境内。

三、水丰景区

游客朋友,我们的车正从市区向虎山方向的古长城遗址驶来。现在游车正路过振安区的九车城镇政府,坐在车里,大家便可看到立在路旁山上的那座石碑。我简单地向大家介绍一下石碑的来历。这座山名叫日本山。现改名为镇东山 ,山上埋有日俄战争时期的一位日本将军,并立了这个石碑做为一个历史遗迹,石碑没有被拆迁。
虎山位于丹东市东北1500m处虎山形似卧虎,昔日的安东八景之一“虎耳双峰”和对岸朝鲜八景之一“统军亭”隔江相望,站在山顶烽火台上远眺,马市沙洲和朝鲜的新义州市尽收眼底。虎山地势险要,是历史上的军事要地,是著名的万里长城的东端起点。

当看到耸立在鸭绿江边的虎山长城这一庞大的历史遗迹时,相信大家一定很激动,在没登长城前,请给我5分钟,让我把虎山长城的概貌作一下介绍:虎山原名马耳山,因两个并排高耸山峰,状似两只竖长的虎耳,亦称虎耳山,至清代渲化为今日的虎山。虎山突起于鸭绿江边,平地孤耸,视野开阔,作为国门,长城选址虎山,确有军事意义,任何懂军事的人都知道,控告战斗的主动权,首先必占据制高点,所以在虎山建长城顺理成章。而翻开丹东现存的古志书,也早有记载,两千多年前的战国时期,丹东就开筑长城,秦统一六
国,丹东继续筑长城,直到明代,才确切了长城在丹东的地位。虎山长城始建于明成化五年,即公元1469年,是由当时的总兵韩斌督建的,当时也称“辽东边墙”。主要包括长城墙体、墙台、敌台、马面、烽火台、护城河、拦马墙等。明巡抚都御史王之浩,登临虎山要塞时,曾写下《登马耳山望朝鲜》诗,诗云:“高头极目海之东,指点扶桑可挂弓,衰柳迷烟知驿古,寒鸦带月撑天空。江山不尽关山迥,帝德无私雨露同。却笑楼船成底事,海边枯骨战图功。”诗中将虎山的地势、关边的冷肃,古战场的残酷,都形象生动地描绘出来。但由于历史的误会和历史的延误,直到1990年12月,辽宁省、丹东市两级政府邀请全国的长城学者、长城专家,敲定虎山长城的历史地位,彼此丹东才理直气壮向世人宣布:明长城的起点在丹东,丹东拥有明长城的第一块砖。
